Whitehall Farm Cottage is half of an historic farmhouse in a wonderful setting overlooking the Otter Valley in East Devon.
The kitchen/breakfast room is filled with natural light. This is the first room to the right from the entrance hall. It links to the living room too.
There is a warmly welcoming living room with a wood burning stove ini the large fireplace and a beamed ceiling which celebrate the age of the property
This is the lovely setting for the cottage. The farm nestles into the hillside - the woodland at the top is managed by the National Trust and the Woodland Trust.
This is a view of Whitehall Farm Cottage from the top of its large garden. There is plenty of space for children to play and the garden is fenced.
This is another view of the living room to show the fireplace and wood burning stove.
There is a separate dining room with French windows to the patio and lawned gardens. This is the room to the left from the entrance hall.
The three bedrooms are all on the first floor. This is the main bedroom. All the rooms are just as stylish and have a calm feel to them.
This is the second of the double bedrooms. This room looks out over the garden and up the hill behind the farmhouse.
Another view of the double bedroom and a glimpse of its outlook.
This is the twin bedroom, another well proportioned and spacious room.
This is the family bathroom, it has a shower cubicle too. There is a second shower and wc on the ground floor in the utility room.
The first floor corridor has a cosy reading area at the far end with a floor to ceiling bookshelf to choose holiday reading from.
There is plenty of parking outside the cottage. The path to the front door runs around the side of the building.
This is the view from the farmstead across the Otter Valley. The hillside setting means that there are wonderful panaromic views.
Whitehall Farm is home to a rare flock of Gottland sheep, famous for their incredible curly fleeces. The lovely owners will be pleased to show you around.
The farm is also home to a herd of beef cattle. When you are exploring it is important to keep your dog on a lead please.
You will find free-range chickens wandering around happily.
The sheep will sometimes be in the paddock right next to your garden.
The Otter Valley Field Kitchen is on the very next farm. Fabulous award-winning ice cream and other delights. You will pass it on your way here.
Whitehall Farm is an easy drive to the stunning Jurassic Coast. This is Sidmouth, a short drive the other side of Honiton.
Just on the East Devon/Dorset border is Lyme Regis - a wonderful place for a day out.
