Lovely cottage in a lovely area. Lots of welcoming extras provided by the owner. We wouldn’t normally go back to the same place twice but would definitely like to go back to Mr Bear’s Hayloft.

It’s rare that a property exceeds my expectations but the Hayloft certainly did. A beautiful and tasteful conversion , retaining such a comfortable and at home feel. Alison and Paul were lovely hosts and I couldn’t have had a more enjoyable stay...even the weather was perfect.

I really enjoyed my trip to Mr Bear' Hayloft!

It was a peaceful oasis and the comfort and spaciousness were a real treat.

It is beautifully equipped and although part of a large homestead, you feel entirely private with help on hand should it be needed!

It is ideally situated for Moretonhampstead and Dartmoor and is a haven of relaxation to return to at the end of a long day's rambling!

I would fulsomely recommend Alison's converted barn and hospitality and look forward to my return for the concluding chapters of the novel!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mr Bear's Hayloft. The location was great, a short walk from the local pubs and shops, yet tucked away in a tranquil setting. The hayloft was so cosy and we had all of the facilities we needed. We particularly enjoyed sitting in front of the wood burning stove whilst watching 'Storm Hannah' and making use of the gorgeous shepherds hut in the field opposite with a nice glass of wine.
