The Cottage is a traditional stone property in a lovely calm setting off the beaten track but not feeling isolated. A gorgeous orchard looks out over the front and there are fields to the back.
The inglenook fireplace with wood-burning stove is at the heart of this welcoming homely cottage.
The galley style kitchen has space for a breakfast table next to the lovely warm Rayburn, and French windows out to the garden.
This is such a cosy place to start the day while the rest of the family have a lie in!
This is a view of The Cottage from the enclosed garden. Up to 5 dogs are welcome. The separate paddock is behind the little outbuildings to the right of the picture.
A view of the kitchen from the other direction. There is an additional electric oven and hob in the utility-area at the far end, and another back door to the garden.
This is the dual aspect main bedroom, (Bedroom 1), which overlooks the front of the house and the apple orchard next door.

This is the second double bedroom. This lovely bright room also looks out to the front of The Cottage and over the orchard.
There is a dear little single bedroom overlooking the garden. Though the room is small, the view is large - all the way down the valley.
The Cottage is filled with such cheerful and welcoming touches. You will all feel very much at home here.
This is the large family bathroom on the first floor. A separate shower room on the ground floor gives guests that ever-useful flexibility.

North Devon offers a wonderful coastline of rugged cliffs, harbours and seaside villages. This image is looking across at Instow from Appledore. Instow's beach is dog-friendly all year round.
The Cottage is set in a very unspoilt rural area where traditional agricultural practices can still be seen.
