We had a long weekend at Ferny Park. It’s ideally situated near the coast path in lovely surroundings. The house was very well equipped and the hot tub and pool room were very welcome. We would definitely recommend the house.

We loved our stay! We were a group of friends with teenage children. The house was beautiful and in a perfect location. Some lovely walks (our dog had the time of his life). We would definitely stay again.

Beautiful, well-resourced house with incredible gardens. Great location, stunning!

For a large family special occasion, this is an ideal house. It has everything, and plenty of places to explore nearby.

We're delighted to hear that Ferny Park had everything that you needed for your stay! We wish to welcome you back again in the future. Meg, Customer Support

We had a fantastic stay and holiday at Ferny Park it was so roomy even with 8 adults, the gardens are stunning and the hot tub, games room and sports pitch added another level of enjoyment to our stay. Splendid location and walks to the coast on the doorstep. We loved it!

Lovely house, beautiful garden with thought for children given. Location is good for Boscastle with it's excellent farm shop and Tintagel in the other direction. Plenty of places to visit.

We are sad to say that we are having to give our first bad review ever for a holiday cottage. Ferny Park is in a wonderful location. The gardens are beautifully magical and the house itself is lovely. What was extremely disappointing and rather shocking upon arrival was the state of the lack of cleanliness in the house itself - particularly, but not confined to, the kitchen. The house seemed to us that it hadn't been cleaned at all prior to our arrival and we had to spend quite some time washing everything before things were useable. There were dirty crocks in the cupboards and in the garden, dirty utensils, dirty pots and pans, the whole kitchen and everything in it, also items inside the cupboards and drawers and the cooker and its knobs was caked in a layer of grease, absolutely everything we touched including the clock on the wall when we changed the hour, left grease on our hands. As an example we found - Grill pan still had thick solidified fat with bits of food stuck in it from previous use. Garlic press left with old garlic in it. Sieve still had old bits of rice stuck in the holes. A big poo and a pile of hair in the toilet of the bedroom with the twin beds on the first floor Badly stained mattress topper in same bedroom, also in king sized bedroom but to a lesser extent. Very thick velvety coating of dust on the bedside tables in the king sized bedroom. No wire rack to cook on in the grill pan. No tea towels No oven glove Biscuit wrappers and sweet wrappers under the bed in the front double bedroom. Large larder fridge in kitchen plugged in but not working. The whole kitchen needs a deep clean as it is a breeding ground for germs. We are very surprised given the recent crisis we have had with Covid that the owners of this property and their cleaning provider feel this standard of hygiene is acceptable. We know it is possible that the owners of this property are not aware that the cleaning provider they are employing are doing such a poor job, if they do not know then they must be made aware of it because this cleaning provider could cost them their good reputation.

We're very sorry to hear that the cleanliness wasn't up to standard. We wished that you'd let us know during your stay as we would've loved an opportunity to resolve this for you. We're pleased that you enjoyed the fabulous location and hope you enjoyed your stay overall. Julie, Customer Support

Overall great location and a lovely house. Amazing walks on your doorstep

Lovely property in beautiful surroundings with all facilities. Ideal for a family holiday or a gathering of friends. Tintagel is a pretty village with a lot of historical interest, many cafes and places to eat and two supermarkets. Can wholeheartedly recommend.

Our group of four couples enjoyed our stay at Ferny Park. There was plenty of room for all of us (I don't think the photos on the website do the property justice), and the location allowed for Southwest Coastal Path walks to Tintagel and Bossiney Cove and nearly daily drives to the lovely Boscastle and the Boscastle Farm Stand and Café. We took day trips to Dartmoor, St. Ives, Padstow, Port Issac, Lanhydrock, Trebarwith Beach. As we had spent the week before walking the Southwest Coastal Path from Penzance to Falmouth, the hot tub was an added treat, which we used daily. We cooked dinner in every evening and found the kitchen to have the basics we needed (other than enough dish towels). We highly recommend Ferny Park.

A large, comfortable homely house, with a lot of character, within easy walking distance of some lovely coastal walks.

This property is perfectly placed for exploring the North Cornwall Coast with access to the coastal path within a ten minute walk.
It is an absolutely beautiful, well equipped, stylish property with lovely gardens - perfect for large family holidays.

The location was good, with a bit of a walk up hill we were into the little town which was lovely. The house was perfect for all our needs, children, dog and couples needing a bit of space. The welcome pack was very thoughtful. The games room was lots of fun (trying to shoot pool against a tight wall- challenging) and the hot tub was fab. Great having a shower outside which was hot. Plenty of parking space and although the road is near the property it is set back enough for it not to matter.
Would recommend this property.

Excellent Cottage and location. A short walk to Tintagel town where you can visit the castle, stop for a drink and a variety of shops. Port Isaac is very beautiful, we got to see a bit of filming for Doc Martin and Nicky B’s pasties were amazing. Great family holiday, games room & very well equipped with board games. Hot tub was fab as well.

Fabulous House, Gardens, Games Room and Hot Tub. Great location for local Walks and Attractions with very Comfortable Beds to return to. A lovely setting for a large family or a gathering of friends.

What a wonderful house in which to gather the family for a celebration! We have had a super week together in a very well equipped house set in a beautiful garden. Loved being able to walk out of the front door and down pretty Rocky Valley to the rugged Cornish coast in a matter of minutes, and when we were at home, the hot tub and pool table were constantly in use. This is a house to be very comfortable in, and when you think you need something you will probably find that it’s been thoughtfully provided for you. We were sad to leave and will be back one day.

We were looking for a winter escape for some peace and quiet and Ferny Park definitely provided this. Easy reach of boscastle (the boscastle farm shop is incredible, we went everyday!) and Tintagel, the walk down rocky valley was stunning. The house itself is spacious for a larger group, and the bedrooms are all beautiful. The hot tub games room and football area were a real highlight for our groups and the additional “chalet” to store bikes, wet gear and washing was amazing! The dog loved the garden and spent hours out there, and has become partial to a nice outdoor hot shower since we stayed at Ferny Park. Would definitely return :)

A beautiful property with plenty of room for us all.

Beautiful home amd garden, set in a wonderful location. Absolutely perfect for our family get together

We had a fabulous stay in this beautiful house, it felt like a home away from home and was very comfortable and a great place to relax. We enjoyed the hot tub and the games room at the house. The location was just great for long walks without having to use the car.

What a hoilday home. So peaceful. Beautiful views. Some many things to do around the area. Honestly it was such a welcome break for all the family and the hot tub was the icing on the cake. Highly recommend no one wanted to leave.

Great location if you don’t want to travel too far, Padstow, Tintagel, port Issac all within reach. Fabulous hot tub, smashing garden, great kitchen facilities. If you book here you won’t be disappointed!

This is the ideal house for a larger family or friends multi generational gathering. Property is beautifully decorated and kept and the location is ideal for the coastal path, Tintagel and for accessing wider Cornwall. The games shed was a particular hit with the 5 children and young people in our party and the garden and hot tub great for all. If you have a dog, the flat football pitch is an added bonus!

Ferny Park is an outstanding beautiful house, exactly as described. Great facilities, space and we'll equipped. Would highly recommend.

Another lovely holiday at Ferny Park, weather, house and gardens were all excellent. The teenagers loved the hot tub and the games room The location is good for beaches at Bossiney and Trebarwith, and also close enough to walk to Tintagel for shops and places to eat, can recommend Charlies in Tintagel and also the Mill House at Trebarwith, great views from the Port William too. Boscastle Farm Shop is great for dining with excellent local produce available to take away as well

A lovely, comfortable, well-located property with plenty of space and cooking facilities for a large household and which mitigated the limited access to cultural attractions, restaurants and pubs due to Covid restrictions. We had accessible coastal and woodland walks directly from the property, with Tintagel and Boscastle nearby. The all weather hot tub was also a bonus and we will definitely be looking to book again in the next couple of years.

The Cosens family, Newport nr. Saffron Walden

Ferny Park is superb in every way. We had such a lovely holiday there and would thoroughly recommend everything about this property.

We had a wonderful much needed family break at Ferny Park. The location is excellent and the photos really don't do it justice. It's very spacious with lots of little seating areas to enjoy the views of the beautiful gardens. It is situated on the road from Tintagel to Boscastle but you really don't hear the traffic after a short while, you can't see it either and the quietness at night is perfect. Its a shame the games room is not a tad closer to the house but nice to have it there and the separate laundry room. The owners have kindly included lots of dvds and books also toys for the children very thoughful extras. The hot tub is just brilliant situated overlooking the fields it really is just wonderful. The coastal path to Boscastle is just across the road. Also the nearest beach a very beautiful little cove (not suitable to walk down with very little one's in tow) We recommend the brewery just a couple of miles away for burgers and sausages for the bbq and of course local beers. It also has a seating area with a small - children's play park as well as eating in. We only used the shop but the menu looked lovely. We hope to return to Ferny Park another year thank you for a great holiday.

This cottage is lovely and comfortable, beautiful gardens and a great hot tub, great base for exploring surrounding areas

Fantastic house, fantastic holiday position, amazing beaches so close, walks straight from the house ...we managed the camel trail, surfing, bellyboarding, runs, kayaking and great hot tub evenings and all in all the best post lockdown family holiday we could ever have had !Thank you!

Lovely cottage with excellent en suites. A great location to explore the area with many nice walks. Very cosy with the log fire and the hot tub was very inviting. The games room was great but bear in mind that for smaller children it is a way away from the house, at the rear of the garden, so they will need to be supervised.

Stunning property, well equipped and perfect for groups or smaller families alike. Stair gate and secure gardens gave us piece of mind for our toddler . Perfect location for exploring this area of north Cornwall with stunning walks literally on your door step.

Ferny Park is a beautiful house with a splendid garden. We really enjoyed our week.

Didn’t manage to write in visitors book as we had no pen! Loved the house - wonderful place to stay and the house was beautifully kitted out and perfect for a family holiday. Would definitely recommend

When we arrived it was very nice to enjoy the cream tea provided for us. This is a lovely spacious house with a beautiful garden, plenty of room for a 3 generation family holiday. The girls loved having their own little den at the top of the house. The bedrooms had lovely comfortable beds and the en suite showers were excellent, also nice to have plenty of parking space. We filled the bird feeders which attracted many different types of bird plus some very entertaining squirrels! The hot tub, football area and games room were also much appreciated by all.The location is also very good, close to Tintagel with Trebarwith and Bossiney beaches nearby, we would definitely stay here again.
