We had a wonderful stay and would recommend this property.

We had a wonderful holiday at Twitchers Itch. Our hosts were so kind and helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Everything had been thought about to make our stay so lovely from the cream tea and dog biscuits on arrival to the DVD’s and games for us to enjoy. Our girls in particular loved the selection of books. Thank you for such a fantastic holiday! We cannot wait to come back!...

We had the best holiday at Twitchers Itch . The house was even better than we had imagined it would be , it was fully equipped with everything you could want . Even a welcome basket with homemade scones , jam , cream and milk . It was a lovely little touch , the kitchen had everything and more you could need . Especially as a family with two children and a baby . Lovely travel cot , with bedding and a stair gate on both ends of the stairs . The hot tub was amazing and that view was one of the reasons we booked , it really is stunning . One morning the fog made it look like we were in the clouds . It was really beautiful . And the stars as someone had mentioned before are incredible on a clear night . We’ve never seen anything like it . The living room has a great bookshelf filled with educational books , story books for all ages and a great pair of binoculours . My boys spent ages using them . The house was incredibly clean , one of the cleanest I’ve stayed in actually . So peaceful and quiet , we really enjoyed ourselves and explored Cornwall , south and north Devon during our stay . We really hope to come back again , thanks again xx...

Lovely welcome with fresh flowers on the table and milk in the fridge. The owner had left us a delicious cream tea - the scones were homemade and the best we have ever tasted - many thanks. The cottage was spotlessly clean. Very dog friendly with doggie treats, bowl etc. Bridleway walks from the door which is ideal for dog walks if you do not want to drive. Close to Dartmoor. The views from the cottage are beautiful, loads of species of birds and a friendly squirrel who tapped on the patio door! Thanks to Nicola at Classic Cottages who went above and beyond to made the last minute booking experience so easy. We had a lovely stay at Twitchers Itch, a peaceful, relaxing retreat. ...

This is the second time we have stayed here, and have also stayed in Fern Gully which is next door. The cottage is extremely clean and fully equipped and they allow up to 4 dogs which is quite rare. We have 3 and struggle to find cottages that allow this and that have fully secured gardens. The property is down a very quiet lane but accessible to lovely dog walks, the local shop and pub and Bude is about a 30 min drive. Bill and Caroline are amazing hosts and onhand if you have any questions. We love it there. ...
