The property was exactly as we expected and hoped for! It was very very clean and well presented, and had everything we needed! The location was ideal for our stay, in that it was right in the middle of Devon, so ideal to travel to all the locations you want to get to, both North & South (not too far to any of them). The outlook was amazing, with a huge amount of wildlife with tonnes of birds, bats, hedgehogs and deer in the field everyday! It was also very quiet, and the facilities were great, with a brilliant BBQ, great hot tub, pool table, games room, and all the rooms were massive, and as I say very clean. The host was great, but just left us alone tbh - he was close by if needed, but everything was great, so we were left alone. Scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival was brilliant too. A couple of nice pubs not too far away, and the shop is only a mile down the road. A highly recommended base and place to stay!...

A great family retreat. The accommodation had Everything you could possibly need and more. Lovely and peaceful with fantastic walks for the dogs. Plenty of places to visit or just stay home and enjoy cocktails in the hot tub. We all really enjoyed the holiday. Next time we’ll be booking 2 weeks. This was our fourth time to Fern Gully and the cottage did not disappoint yet again. Theres plenty of room for the adults and kids to relax and play and the hot tub is a plus. The cream tea and chocolate bunnies for the grandchildren was an added bonus. Will definitely be returning. ...

Beautiful cottage with everything you could need. Dog friendly (had towels and treats) and the hot tub was amazing! The cottage was Spotlessly clean and tidy, and we was greeted with mulled wine, mince pies and cream! The owners have thought of everything and even though they live near, they left you to enjoy your stay. Such a peaceful holiday at Christmas with our 2 boys and dogs. Would definitely book again and highly recommend it....
