We spent a very nice holiday in pure nature. The cottage is very spacious and comfortable. The property is completely fenced and therefore perfect for a holiday with a dog! A big thank you again to Caroline and Bill for the lovely welcome and the delicious scones with all that's included-just delicious! You are very friendly and helpful hosts. We wish you all the best and many great steeds!

I booked Fern Gully Cottage and Twitcher's Itch (4173 together for a family holiday of 12 people of ages rangeing from 3 to 64, there was something for everybody, country walks, wildlife and with easy to reach beautiful beaches and activities. On arrival we were welcomed with a cream tea and cakes for the children, The best scones I have ever tasted. We all had a great time. Bill and Caroline were fantastic hosts and very approachable, would of loved to of stayed longer.

A well appointed cottage maintained to a high standard with a lovely modern interior a credit to their owners Bill and Caroline. The home made welcome Cream Tea, fresh flowers and treats for the dogs were a lovely touch. The location was rural but perfect for a relaxing holiday and the hot tub was a great additional. The garden was fully enclosed and the dogs enjoyed the open space. We would recommend this property and definitely plan on returning.

July 2018

We had a fantastic break in this delightful Devon idyll. With delicious home baked goodies on arrival, it was the perfect antidote to our hectic work lives. It was also a great base for exploring Devon and north Cornwall, where we all enjoyed surf lessons and visiting the beautiful villages, before heading back to the spacious cottage for a relaxing evening watching the sun set from the hot tub. I highly recommend booking Fern Gully and will be back!
