September 2020

We had a wonderful stay in Hobnob Cottage and even messaged Katy to try and stay longer. It's a great house, in a perfect location and we'll definitely stay again. Katy is a wonderful host (& super friendly also) and answered all queries quickly and fully, both before and during our stay. It's possibly the best house we've stayed in, over the many years of holiday rentals.

July 2020

We had a lovely stay at HobNob - spacious, well presented and located for families and dogs on the Devon/Dorset coast.

July 2020

So happy with our short break here- perfect location and gorgeous cottage! The owner was delightful- we want to come back already!

July 2020

The cottage was lovely and was very well equipped - better than any other cottage we stayed at

The garden was lovely and large and dog friendly

The estate is a beautiful setting although the walk to the beach is about half an hour and a challenge on the way back!

We had a wonderful week- thank you!!

December 2019

Outstanding property and location, highly recommended. Very welcoming, home from home, would love to return in the summer months so that we can explore further.

October 2019

If you want quiet surroundings with lovely walks this is the place for you. The accommodation is lovely and you could spend a whole week here without leaving the estate as in the summer there is a private beach. Our children and dog loved it here. I would highly recommend this property

August 2019

Was delighted to see Hobnob available to rent once again, this was our fourth family visit and we had a great stay again. The location on the Rousden estate was very peaceful and the walk to the private beach was delightful. The cottage is well kept with good facilities making for a lovely vacation. The new café and bakery a short walk from the entrance to the estate is a delightful find for a leisurely breakfast or lunch if you do not want to cook. We loved our stay in Hobnob.

May 2019

Fabulous peaceful location within easy reach of amazing walks, beaches and coastal towns.

February 2019

We really enjoyed our stay at Hobnob. A spacious, clean and well equipped house in a fabulous location. Particularly enjoyed being able to walk to the private beach and the local artisan bakery in the morning. Also a great location for exploring the East Devon coast and nearby Lyme Regis.

December 2018

A very comfortable, warm and modern house. Dog friendly with all the hard surface flooring downstairs. The owners were very friendly and welcoming and were happy to be contacted if we required anything. We didn't, everything went very smoothly. We were particularly impressed with the huge Christmas tree (with lights and decorations) in the hallway and attractive Christmas decorations around the house. Plus delicious food items on arrival and even treats for the dogs.

September 2018

Fantastic cottage and location. Well-appointed kitchen. Local estate and village bakery are excellent, and Lyme / Seaton etc are a short drive. One of the best properties I've stayed in.

June 2018

An excellent property in a superb tranquil setting on a private estate. Beautiful garden views over the private church at the bottom of the garden and lovely walks around the estate.

The owner was a delight to deal with - very helpful and had clearly given much thought to the decor and excellent facilities provided. Her mum had also provided a cream tea for our arrival which was very welcome after an 8 hour journey !

A top property, owner and location.
