Thank you for your lovely review. It must have been so restful there, away from the bustle of everyday life. Donna, Customer Support
mr jenkins August 2023
Nice house in a nice location , fantastic views.
Mrs Bailey August 2023
A spacious, well designed and comfortable cottage in which to enjoy a peaceful holiday away from it all, within walkable distance of a pub, and not too far to a local shop.
Mrs Bell April 2023
Whilst the house is in a good location and the house is large with good facilities we didn’t give it to be very clean and we found neighbouring rentals intrusive during our stay, using private garden and standing on the walls directly outside the living room windows.

Super
Mrs Thompson September 2022
Nice cottage on a quiet country road with limited views of the creek. Very rural location.
Mrs Wood July 2022
I have already stated above just what a terrific house this was to stay in.
We would come back.
The Creek offered so much wildlife and sightings of the kingfishers were extra special being bird watchers.
Mr Dunster May 2022
A wonderful house in a wonderful location. Can't wait to go back.
Mrs Ball May 2022
We very much enjoyed our Creek Cottage break. The cottage was very well equipped and very comfortable, with the bonus of having The Trengilly Wartha on the door step.
Mrs Vincent October 2021
Lovely comfortable cottage in a beautiful location.
Mrs Lisher September 2021
Probably not the best time to visit Creek Cottage because of more tourism and more people using the narrow road down to the house. Be aware of difficulty parking on a slope with traffic passing on narrow lane and heating unit projecting into the parking space. We enjoyed Cornwall and think the view over the creek will be improved when the vegetation is cut back to give a clearer view, which I understand will happen.

Thank you so much for your review of Creek Cottage. We are delighted to read that you enjoyed your visit to Cornwall, but can apprecaite that even the more quieter areas have been busy this year. We are sure that your review will be helpful to future guests of the cottage and it is worth having a look at the photos and captions at the bottom as they can give a little more information and views of the parking. We so hope to welcome you back again in the future and should you need any assistance making a booking we are more than happy to help. Sarah, Customer Support
Mrs Gentleman August 2021
We loved everything about Creek Cottage; the peaceful location, the views from the terrace and the cottage itself which was spacious, well equipped, clean and beautifully decorated. We would definitely stay again.
Mrs Barber August 2021
Location location location! I want to keep this place all to my self, but I’ll share with you that sitting out on the terrace overlooking the creek is an absolute joy. Lovely large house (could have been cleaner) in a beautiful place, plenty of birds to watch, great pub nearby, lovely walks, close to many wonderful places to visit: beaches, kayaking, SW coast path, subtropical gardens…
mr vicary-smith July 2021
The cottage is very well equipped with a large fridge and freezer, great tv with extra services, comfortable beds. The cottage is in a tranquil location when cars aren't going past close to the windows - sadly when we were there this was every 15 minutes or so. The stay definitely wasn't restful. Maybe a less busy year or time of year it would be different.

We're thrilled that you enjoyed your recent stay at Creek Cottage and appreciated the beautifully equipped kitchen, amazing TV and super comfortable beds. We're sorry that you experienced some road noise during your stay, as this is not the norm at this tranquil property. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to welcoming you back soon. Mr Marsh July 2021
While we had a pleasant stay, the cleanliness of the cottage was poor and the place looked quite tired. The house could definitely do with better quality fittings and furniture and a new cleaner !

Mrs King May 2021
We loved staying here although not as clean as we would have expected especially to say we are in covid times. Only parking for 2 cars was a bit awkward as the cottage sleeps 8 so we had more than 2 cars. That being said, the place, location and stay was fantastic! We had a brilliant time and it was a really good size and perfect for the whole family and 2 little ones!! Also may I add, the sheets and towels and kitchen equipment were all clean, just the house itself was quite dirty. Would still recommend.

We're so sorry to hear that some areas had been overlooked during the changeover process - it's such a shame that we didn't know at the time as we'd have loved to have had the opportunity to put right anything that was not quite up to expectation. We're absolutely thrilled that you enjoyed your stay overall and that you would recommend the lovely Creek Cottage - we hope to welcome you back soon. Tressa, Customer Support
Mr Morley May 2021
A beautiful cottage, stylish, spacious and comfortably furnished - blissfully without mobile signal unless you head down to the garden area across the lane (but good wifi in the property). Views of the creek being slightly subject to the lushness of the surrounding foliage, but an idyllic spot from which to explore this enchanting part of Cornwall. We loved the incredible night sky and the owls.
Mrs Lovatt-Smith April 2021
Excellent cottage in a beautiful, peaceful location
Mr Bees October 2020
A lovely cottage in a beautiful, tranquil, rural location. The location of the garden overlooking the head of the creek is simply stunning. We sat out until after dark with our coats on (late October), and also took our breakfast down there. The sound of the owls calling each other at dusk and dawn is wonderful.

Thanks so much for reviewing Creek Cottage. As holiday destinations go this one certainly ticks all the boxes! The creek side position, views and super stylish interior make for such a relaxing holiday it would be hard to leave the property at all! If you can tear yourself away however you'll find beautiful villages, stunning hamlets and gorgeous scenery all right on your doorstep! We're sure we'll be seeing you again soon. The view from the garden was fantastic. The location of the property was perfect.

Great house for a family with children as the creek access provides a lot of fun at anytime of day. Would happily visit again
Mrs Hulbert March 2020
Such a wonderful place to stay! Super clean, wonderfully warm and beautifully furnished and decorated and a perfect place to stay to visit most of Cornwall. Loved it!
Miss Morris October 2019
Creek Cottage is a light-filled, contemporary cottage situated in the tiny, lush hamlet of Polwheveral. It's a short, meandering, steep drive down to the cottage through the trees and ferns and you'll be parking on a wee slope too, but its easy peasy and definitely worth the adventure.
A gift shop owner in Coverack, a cafe-owner in Mousehole, a gallery owner in Marazion and a fisherman in Porthleven all smiled at us and politely said: "Sorry, never heard of Polwheveral." Polwheveral is one of the Lizard's little secrets, it would appear. For us, this made Creek Cottage even more magical.
Hidden deep in the valley, but just a 5-minute drive to the main roads around the Lizard, Creek Cottage is a perfect location for exploring this beautiful area. From the cottage, we happily visited St. Agnes, St. Ives, St. Just and Sennen, as well as many of the coves, beaches and Helford river villages throughout the Lizard in a week.
Highlights: The sculpture fields at Coverack (another secret, just off the coast path), Poldhu beach (the café sell their own gorgeous knitted pom pom hats and felted scarves), the drive from St. Ives to St. Just along the coast road (incredible), and the beautiful Kynance Cove and Kynance Cove Café (stunning).
Going to sleep, listening to the owls hooting in the trees around you, waking up and watching the geese and cormorants in the creek below as the sun rises over the cottage... Perfect!
Mrs Green July 2019
Well equipped and beautifully situated cottage. Lots to do in the area (car essential). Room sizes suitable for 6 adults. Large kitchen/diner plus sunny seating area overlooking the creek - lovely for early evening drinks. Technically access to the water for small portable craft eg kayak/paddleboard but tide out much of the time as well up the creek so better to launch elsewhere. Plenty of opportunity to watch the wildlife.
Mrs Sharp June 2019
Beautiful Family Cottage Very Comfortable Excellent furnishings
