Lovely cute cottage in a fantastic location. Good standard of cleanliness and lovely touch with the owners putting out some wine and coffee for us on arrival. The owners went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and couldn’t have been more helpful. Truly great service!

Lovely cottage with a sunny enclosed garden. We had a great family week in The Hygge and would love to return. The kitchen diner is great for having dinner all together or you can eat out in the local pubs and restaurants. We took our morning coffee out to the little bench across the road to watch the sun come up and listen to the waves beneath us. Trevaunance Cove is simply stunning and the property is situated right on the coastal path so ideal for lovely walks. The owners who live next door are lovely people, very welcoming and laidback.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage and loved to sit at the bench with the wonderful view over the cove. The owner was extremely friendly and we felt very welcomed.

June 2019

A fantastic location for the coastal path with great bar that does food on the beach. The cottage was lovely as were our hosts who were quick to help when the need arose.

Lovely cottage with great views. Would come again.

St Agnes is a lovely town with more amenities than we realised. The industrial heritage has been softened by careful planning and some of the old tin mine buildings have been restored and converted for other uses. Lots of lovely walks, there are some steep hills but most places are easy to access by car and many lovely walks around the Beacon and the coast nearby. An excellent location if you want to explore west Cornwall, and off the main beaten track.

Lovely cottage with a stunning location right next to the Ocean. Went asleep each night to the sound of the waves.

Nick the owner was great and couldnt be more helpful. Cosy little cottage and such a great location. A minutes walk to the Driftwood Spa pub and restaurant and both villages are great for whatever you need.

Will definitely be booking again.

Our family of 6 (mum, dad & 4 children) arrived for a short break, the location is amazing - looking straight out on the coast and only a short walk to great restaurants, and family orientated pubs. The house was tastefully decorated and had all the amenities and equipment we needed - the owners next door were brilliant, very friendly and very re-assuring if we needed anything just to ask. I would highly recommend this cottage - Mrs Terry

Stunning location for a family summer holiday.

March 2018

We were very privileged to be the first guests to stay at the delightful Hygge cottage in Trevaunance, St Agnes. It is 100% "Hygge", very stylish, and incredibly comfortable. It has been beautifully decorated and is very well-equipped. The location is amazing by the sea with fantastic views. The coastal path is literally on the door step and it is a short walk to the pub or into the village which has lots of shops, a bakery, fish and chip shop etc. The Hygge owners are very kind and helpful and gave us lots of good recommendations of places to visit such as one of the highlights of our holiday visiting Godrevy national trust beach which has a great cafe, amazing sandy beach and seals! We thoroughly enjoyed our week at the Hygge and loved lighting the woodburner each evening and settling down on the furs to read our books in the very cosy sitting room and then falling asleep to the sound of the sea. We look forward to returning soon! Thank you.
