Visit Kimmeridge and you are bound to find a fossil and the fabulous Etches Collection of fossils is on display in the village, collected from the beach there over many years.
The Sandbanks Ferry crosses the entrance to Poole Harbour and links Sandbanks with the fabulous beaches at Shell Bay and Studland.
A one hour drive will take you to the New Forest, where ponies, cattle, sheep and pigs roam free. Miles of paths and cycle tracks take you through ancient woodland and over open heath.

Super location to see sights of Dorset. Very friendly hosts and great choice for dog owners with access to off road walks through the forest. Would definitely recommend.
