This is an absolutely stunning property, in a lovely location. Excellent for larger groups of all ages. The high standards and cleanliness are fantastic and made our holiday all the more enjoyable. We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lower upcott, particularly the games room, which was ideal when the weather wasn't so good. Not too far away from places for days out, although the local roads are somewhat dicey and take a little getting used to!. All in all, a fabulous place and I would certainly recommend to others.

We had the most fantastic stay at Lower Upcott. The views from the house were simply stunning and the property was beautifully presented. It was a special house, having something for everyone and we all enjoyed the games room on the one rainy day we had! I would recommend this property to anyone wanting to explore North Devon.

Would love to come again - the views, cottage, facilities and location lovely - Devon at its best.

November 2018

My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Lower Upcott for a pre-Christmas gathering. We knew it was going to be good, but the property and location exceeded all expectations - clean and modern, spacious yet cosy. The games barn in particular was a real winner!

Everyone had a fantastic time - from the teens to the forty-somethings - and we will definitely be returning. Thanks to the owners for sharing their beautiful property with us!

If you are thinking of booking this cottage, don't hesitate! We had the most amazing week there. It is immaculate and very well cared for. Very spacious for 6 adults and 3 children. Garden was enclosed and very safe. The children loved running around. Very quiet location down narrow lanes but within half hour drive to beach, big sheep and Milky Way . We had a tesco delivery which was perfect and hired a chef to cook for my special birthday. This place is first class but do mind your heads on some low beams!

Lower Upcott is potentially a lovely holiday property in an attractive, isolated setting. There are many matters which need to be resolved by Classic Cottages/the owners/ housekeeping in order to provide the service a hirer should be able to expect. Once these matters are resolved it could be a very pleasing property.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts following your stay at Lower Upcott - we're so sorry that you experienced some housekeeping 'teething issues'. We've chatted it all through with the housekeeping team to ensure that the barbecue is always checked and the garden furniture is all available for those sunny Devon days. There were points that had been overlooked in the preparation of the property which, whilst very quick to resolve when you let us know, really shouldn't have been missed and we have put measures in place to ensure that all involved in readying the property are fully briefed on what is required. Thanks so much for your patience and we'll be in touch directly to discuss details further. Tanya, Customer Support
