The three of us had a lovely time in the cottage, nice little garden to sit out in and there are plenty of throws if you want to wrap up if its chilly. The beds are very comfortable. If your National Trust members Lytes Cary Manor and Tintinhull Gardens are not far away. A lovely place to stay.
Mrs McElhatton July 2021
If you want a beautiful, well equipped, comfortable cottage in a secluded location, this cottage is for you. Wells, Cheddar and Bath are all less than an hour away (40 mins, 30 mins, 50 mins). We loved this home from home.
Miss Sobh April 2021
Fantastic cottage, phone reception was a problem. Also, wifi isnt good enough for remote working.
Location, garden, space all perfect. Will return.

Mrs Young October 2020
Greenhills is a beautiful 3 bedroom cottage. With lovely furniture and white washed walls which makes the cottage feel fresh and airy. The log burners made it very cosy in the evenings. It has the most wonderful kitchen with French windows opening out onto a colourful (dog proof) garden. The kitchen is so well equipped with a large fridge/freezer, useful island and a brilliant cooker.
A great winter retreat but I imagine fantastic in the summer as well as the views are lovely too. We all had a very relaxing week there.
Ms Howles October 2020
Beautiful village and cottage. The furnishings were lovely. It was an ideal cottage for two generations of family and dogs. It was better equipped than my own home.
Mrs Sturley October 2020
Please be aware there is no mobile phone signal at the cottage!

Thanks so much for reviewing Greenhills Cottage. Sadly mobile phone signal can sometimes be a little hit and miss in certain locations and with certain networks which is unfortunately beyond our control. We'd always recommend having a quick look at a mobile network map if this is an important feature to a holiday - there are some helpful links on our website on our Technology page. Mrs Smart September 2020
A great mix of old and new.
Miss Griffiths September 2020
Overall the property was very comfortable, the beds were wonderful and it was a lovely quiet environment. The kitchen was very well equipped with just about everything you could wish for. Also a lovely garden to enjoy. I think it would be helpful to inform people that there is no phone reception at the property and that accessing the television is quite complicated (at least it seemed so to us!}. The staircase is painted and quite slippery so anyone with mobility problems might struggle with it. It is a great area to visit and we very much enjoyed our stay.

It was a lovely, dog friendly cottage set in beautiful countryside. We loved the well equipped kitchen, the garden and visits to the local pub The Three Horseshoes.
Mrs Carmichael February 2020
A lovely cottage, full of character with a lovely sunny, well equipped kitchen which looks out onto a lovely garden. The local pub was very nice and we had great trips out to Wells, Frome and Glastonbury Tor.

Mrs Hamilton August 2019
I have rented this property before and hope to do so again.
Mrs McQueen May 2019
The bed is small and a bit lumpy. The cottage looked like it had been empty for a few weeks since the last visit. A few basic maintenance chores would have improved things.

We're so sorry to hear that you didn't find the bed (a standard 4'6'' double) that comfy - we'll check the mattress out and see if it needs turning. We'll also ask the housekeeper to ensure any outstanding maintenance points are sorted - thanks so much for letting us know. Tanya, Customer Support
