Lovely spacious rooms and the conversion has retained the character of the farm buildings with their long history. Some issues with equipment but all should be easy to fix. Overall it was a very pleasant place to stay for a few days.

This is a well equipped, beautiful cottage and we had a comfortable and enjoyable week. The grounds are stunning, but there is a river at the bottom which is unprotected. The games room was out of use when we went and the trampoline looked like it had seen better days. The WiFi is poor and the track drive is awful, but you can get over that. Beware, no wardrobes other than in twin room, so bring own hangers. Tavistock is really nice and it’s a great area for walking. ...

We stayed as a walking group of adults plus dog, using Ida and Giles, which worked very well. We all had en-suite rooms and the cottages were well equipped, warm and comfortable. This is a quiet valley location with lovely night skies, close to Tavistock and great walking on Dartmoor. We were all able to eat at the generous dining table in Giles and all appreciated the wood-burning stove....
