Great cottage, dog welcome, good for coastal walks

August 2019

Paddy’s place is a lovely cottage on the edge of a lovely village. The cottage had everything we needed, bar a bbq. Which was a bit of a shame considering the lovely weather we had. It also lacked a view from the living space. Which meant that instead we looked out onto a road/ our car. This is nothing the property can do anything about but just something we didn’t know or consider the importance to us until we got there.

We're so pleased that you liked Paddy's Place. The cottage is ideally situated for all the village amenities with the beach just a five minute drive however distant sea views can be enjoyed from the garden. A barbeque is not currently an advertised feature here. Alison, Customer Support

Already spoke to customer services. Next door were renovating whilst we stayed at the property and it was very noisy. We kept thinking it was just a little bit of DIY so didn't complain but it went on everyday as they were pudding down flooring, hammering, drilling and sawing. Everything inside the house was decorated nicely and kitchen had everything we needed.

We're really sorry that your stay was disturbed by some building works taking place in one of the properties next door. Had we been aware at the time we would have been only too happy to pop round to see you to try to help - our offices are open seven days a week to assist with any problems. Unfortunately our local Property Manager who visited after your holiday couldn't locate the source of the noise but we'll certainly monitor this moving forwards. Bryony, Customer Support

The property smelt musty particularly in the living room. My children both had to use inhalers and we spent much of the holiday with the windows open to let in fresh air. There were some frustrating things - key safe hard to open and shut, no spare pedal bin liners for example. Overall the property was expensive and not value for money.

We're so pleased that we've had the opportunity to discuss these points with you in our recent telephone conversation and we're sorry that some elements of Paddy's Place didn't quite hit the mark for you. Thanks so much for bringing these points to our attention and we'll ask the housekeeper to address them at the changeover. Tressa, Customer Support

Highly recommend the cottage- great location to explore area and St Agnes has lovely bakery, local shops and bars . Would definitely book again ??????

The property was beautiful inside. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and had modern furniture within a characterful property. The location was great, a short 10 minute walk into St Agnes and easily accessible to 2 beaches. The parking was very helpful as the house is located on a busy street. We loved the small touches like the scones, jam and clotted cream on arrival and the sunny garden and terrace. The Netflix account was much appreciated too!

Lovely presented cottage, with new well equipped kitchen, in a good location for the fabulous North Cornwall coast. Parking on driveway a bonus. Could do with a washing machine to perfect.
