My husband, two teenagers and I really enjoyed our stay at The Perch. It's a stunning, bright and airy cottage and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. There's so much to do in the surrounding area. We brought our dog with us so most of the activities we planned were based around taking him out and about. We did a fantastic walk from Cape Cornwall (a 5 min drive away) along the coast past the old mines – stunning scenery. We also visited Sennen Cove (beautiful sandy beach), Porthcurno beach and the telegraph museum, St Ives & the Barbara Hepworth museum (this meant taking it in turns to look after the dog), Mousehole and St Michael's Mount. We'd love to return to The Perch, but possibly without our dog. Being a city dog, he got a bit excited about all the wildlife around the cottage and woke us up every morning at 5.30. However, being up that early I found myself birdwatching through the bi-fold doors and saw a variety of birds on the bird feeder, including a Great Spotted Woodpecker - so every cloud…!

We enjoyed our stay in this lovely property. There is everything that you need and the decor and furnishings are excellent. It felt very comfortable. The location is excellent and there are lovely views towards St Just. The garden was perfect for our labrador.

We loved the animals, especially the peacocks

A bright, spacious, modern holiday cottage with amazing views across St Just and the surrounding countryside. The Perch is ideally situated for exploring the rugged coastline of South West Cornwall with Penzance and St Ives also being within easy reach. The owners and their Labrador, Oscar, couldn't be more welcoming and I would not hesitate to book another holiday at this property.

Stunning views in a beautiful and spacious cottage. A really relaxing and peaceful holiday in a location that gave easy access to many beauty spots.
St. Just had everything that we needed with a mini supermarket as well as butcher, baker, cafes, as well as a couple of pub/restaurants. You can access the South West Coastal path from the cottage and walk to Cape Cornwall etc,. Gwynver Beach was our favourite beach location which we could also take our dog to. We would definitely recommend to friends as well as return ourselves.
