Appletree Cottage is a beautiful traditional cottage with all the character and charm you could want alongside a fully renovated interior.
The cottage has a huge enclosed garden that is not overlooked, with a pretty view down into the village.
The sitting-room has a wood-burning stove making this a great place to stay all year round.
There is a newly installed kitchen with a lovely farmhouse table.
This is definitely a place to stay if you want calm and tranquility without feeling at all isolated.

The cottage is really well-equipped if you want to cook and eat at home.
You can visit the local farmer's markets for fresh produce. There is an excellent village shop too, just a short stroll down the road.
Pretty cottage windows make the most of this peaceful setting.

The cottage has been painted in gentle colours to suit its period style.

You will feel very much at home here in this friendly cottage and very friendly village.
The third bedroom has 3ft bunk-beds. The top bunk is suitable for children only.
Books and games for children to keep them occupied if you should have any rainy days but hopefully they will spend their time in the lovely garden.
This is the bathroom with fitted shower over the bath. There is a separate WC downstairs too.
Sitting outside the front of the cottage - the gardens are to the left - is a sunspot where you can take in the setting.

The village shop has a little cafe too where you can sit with a coffee in the morning to take in village life.
The Drewe Arms is a pub that people travel far and wide to come to! It is a few moment's stroll from the cottage.
Broadhembury is a really beautiful and totally unspoilt village. There is such a friendly feel here and visitors are welcomed warmly.
The cottage has its own drive entrance and this large level parking-area right next to the garden. You can see the little garden gate and the cottage beyond.
This is the back of the cottage so you can see that the garden is not overlooked at all. There is a small drop from this part of the garden to the garden path at the back of the cottage so do take car

We have only good memories of our stay at Apple Tree cottage and felt very welcome. We definitly would like to come again!!! The house is full of character and is in a picturesque, tranquil location. Exactly what we were looking for!

Very nice and quiet house. It's also very well equiped. It's perfect for holidays with children. I clearly recommend it!
