Mill Barn is a very well equipped property in a lovely, peaceful area of North Cornwall. The Barn is furnished to a very high standard and we instantly felt at home! The log burner and sitting room with the view out across the countryside is simply perfect! The weather wasn't overly kind to us but we were able to dry everything out for each new day and were happy to go back early or go out later due to the comfort and relaxation the environment offered. Woe would recommend this property!

We're so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay - in spite of the unseasonable weather! Thanks so much for taking the time to share. Tanya, Customer Support

A modern and spacious yet cosy cottage in a beautiful setting with stunning views. Up to date appliances and a bonus games room.

Mill Barn was a perfect house for a family get together prior to Christmas, everything you needed and more to make it a wonderful holiday.

Having several walks directly from the house was a bonus which the 6 adults and two dogs throughly enjoyed. Having the outdoor shower for the dogs was particularly useful in a slightly wet and muddy week.

We're thrilled to hear Mill Barn was perfect for a Christmas family get together. With all those lovely walks on the doorstep how brilliant to have an outdoor shower to wash off muddy paws. Thanks for choosing Classic Cottages again. Kelsey, Customer Support

Lovely property with beautiful views across fields to the Atlantic. The property has high ceilings and a lovely open plan feel. The showers are very powerful and wifi is pretty good for a country residence.

The Decor is neutral and very pleasant . Smart TV’s (Netflix, prime etc) in the tv room and in the large lounge area. We walked to Trebarwith strand and had an early dinner at the Port Willian and walked back. You’ll need to be ready for a steep walk back (uphill all the way) and takes approx. 40 minutes at a slow- steady pace. A really good base for a north Cornwall holiday .

A great place for a family holiday. Plenty of room for a family of 8.

Mill Barn is a beautiful home to stay in, in a wonderfully peaceful location. The sunsets are to die for.

There are some great walks from the door with which we took full advantage.

The interior is gorgeous and very comfortable. It is a sumptuous holiday getaway that should meet all your expectations.

This was our second time there so that really says it all!

Wonderful stay we would love to go back. Beautiful views and great walks for dogs and people.

This was the perfect property to stay in for a holiday with dogs. It was a wonderful location to experience the hustle and bustle and then be able to retreat for some peace and quiet surrounded by beautiful countryside. We will definitely visit again.

Exceeded expectations! The barn is beautiful, everything you could ever want or need is provided, the location is stunning and the interior of the barn is just lovely.

We have just returned from a week at the barn, it was our first time visiting Cornwall and this accommodation was one of the highlights of the trip, we loved it!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mill Barn. Although it’s large, it felt homely and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment. We cooked a lot and had everything we required. The house is tastefully furnished and decorated. The outside space is vast and as we had good weather, we enjoyed barbecuing and eating alfresco. The dogs loved it! We all agreed we would love to visit Mill Barn again

Mill Barn is a beautiful, comfortable house with stylish decor and a very well equipped kitchen. The cleaning was impeccable. The sea view from the south facing terrace is fantastic, and you have a feeling of complete hill-top isolation. Our only problem was with our 'urban' dog who had to be on the lead at all times because the garden is not secured and there were herds of young cattle in the adjacent fields.

We're delighted to see that you enjoyed your time at Mill Barn. The outside space isn't enclosed here but you can use the search filter to choose only properties with enclosed gardens if this is important. Alternatively give our team a call and we'll be happy to help you. Tanya, Customer Support

We loved Mill Barn & it was perfect for our extended family holiday in North Cornwall. The house was clean, comfortable & well equipped, with lovely views over the surrounding countryside & sea. Kitchen was fab, we have an AGA at home so this was a real boon. The drawing room was beautiful & the master suite upstairs amazing (tho we foresook this in favour of our elder son, his wife & baby) & the brilliant games room worked vey well as an extra bedroom for our 2 year old grand daughter. The rest of us on the ground floor didn't suffer any disturbance from young early risers as the floors/walls are nice & thick. Finally we were very happy with Classic's Anthea, who was helpful & friendly whenever we needed something. Many thx Guy Hill & family

Mill Barn was a lovely holiday home - really well equipped and in a lovely secluded location. The views were great and we were treated to some lovely sunsets. Perfect holiday in a perfect home!

The property is amazing and the location is fantastic. Beautiful views of countryside and sea. It is well equipped and beautifully furnished. Plenty of space for a family and dog.

This property is in a lovely location with views out to sea and Tintagel, which is only a 10 minutes drive away. Very spacious, with plenty of room for everyone. Beautiful new kitchen - need new photos - that now has an induction hob and separate electric oven, meaning that you do not need to use the electric AGA. Have to say we did as it was a bit of a novelty. We experienced some beautiful sunsets. Plenty of things to do in this area of Cornwall. Would highly recommend.

Thanks so much for such a glowing review - we're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay. We're looking into scheduling a photoshoot so some new photos will hopefully be available soon to showcase the gorgeous new kitchen. Tressa, Customer Support

The house was stunning. The main bedroom vast. Outside space great for the dogs. The views were wonderful. There was quite a few cobwebs and dust, within easy reach around the house. I think the showers were lacking in the bathrooms downstairs. I loved staying in it and would do so again.

Thanks so much for sharing your review, we're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. The owner is planning to renovate some of the bathrooms this winter, and the downstairs showers are on that list so hopefully if you return you'll be able to see the improvements. Tanya, Customer Support

Mill Barn is a wonderful place to stay. It exceeded all hopes on comfort and space, I honestly couldn't recommend it more highly. The location is perfect for those who enjoy the quiet away from busy spaces, with a spectacular view.

Location fantastic

Great views, lovely location and lots of room to spread out .

All needs attention. Mould in wardrobes in hall and I mean feet of green and black mould where we were meant to hang out clothes. Broken toilet seats. Damp smell throughout ground floor bedrooms and sheets felt ‘wet’ not ironed or soft. Very little hanging space. Master bedroom wardrobes smelt of urine and literally couldn’t use them. Spilt and jagged broken sharp hooks to hang coats on in utility room. If the owners tended to it with some TLC it would be as described but we were all thoroughly disappointed. The classic staff were very apologetic and quick to fix things but it needs Decorative renovation throughout. Such a shame as it has wonderful potential.

We were so sorry that you were unhappy with the property. Whilst it is a barn in quite an exposed area, so does get the full brunt of the weather, it's certainly not usual for guests to make this sort of report to us. We're glad we were able to help as much as possible during your stay, and can confirm that we have visited the property since your stay to check it. We know that the house is popular and as such is well used during a season, but the owners do redecorate and re-invest at regular intervals to maintain a good standard. We appreciate you sharing your thoughts. Tanya, Customer Support

Stunning views and a nice quiet location, very close to some great days out (Boscastle, Tintagel, Port Isaac) and a lovely dog-friendly beach just down the road.

Beautiful, spacious house in a great location.

Mill Barn is a beautiful barn with stunning views and in an ideal location to explore the dramatic coast line. We were able to relax and enjoy the Cornish sunshine and would love to visit again.

All of it needs attention

Fantastic cottage with the wow factor! Well-designed and equipped, with great social spaces. A lovely home to come back to at the end of a day exploring the beautiful North Cornish coast.

A lovely barn in a beautiful and peaceful location - plenty of space for everyone1

We loved our stay at Mill Barn. The house is beautiful, with wonderful views of the surrounding area, and it accommodated a party of seven with ease, including a spacious garden for three energetic children. Also conveniently located for exploring the fantastic landscape of North Cornwall.

Absolutely stunning property, we use holiday lettings a lot, and it was our favourite by far. Didn’t want to leave. 5*!!

What did like about Mill Barn?Everything!!! From the location, to the views, to the facilities and the wonderful cosy home with the most amazing decor and personal touches - we loved cosying up in the beautiful lounge, snuggled under the lovely blankets after a day exploring beautiful Cornwall. An amazing place to stay for families or groups of friends. Mill Barn was beautiful, we felt at home as soon as we arrived. We loved the fresh flowers, and the welcome tray. The pretty bag of doggie treats was a nice little touch! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend.

Five star property in every sense

We loved our stay at Mill Barn, it's a gourgeous house, perfect for a family holiday. We would love to come back but for a longer time, one week was not enough! Totally recommend Mill Barn.

Mill Barn is a perfect location for a quiet family holiday with excellent facilities to suit everyone. It has been beautifully converted, is very well equipped and has everything that you need. Central for tourist attractions. Fabulous Aga which was great for big family meals. Really enjoyed our stay there and we were all very sad to leave.

The photos are great but seeing the place in real-life really does exceed expectations. Fantastically convertered and to a very high standard. This coupled with a perfect setting and great location.

Our family holiday at Mill Barn has been wonderful. The house was lovely and warm and very comfortable. Really enjoyed cooking on the Aga and it was great for drying soggy shoes!!! Not far to drive to good beaches but lovely and quiet when you came back, can't wait to return.

This is a very comfortable and beautiful barn, in a great location, with lots of space and nicely furnished and decorated.

Our experiences so far is that Classic Cottages are extremely helpful and efficient.

Really beautiful stay at Mill Barn, couldn't have been happier with the property! Beautiful views and a stunning sitting room to relax in after a day of surfing in the very close Trebarwith Strand.

Eight adults and two babies and still plenty of room to find a quiet corner when needed! We were all very impressed with this property. It's secluded with great sea views, well equipped and maintained.

Lovely, large, comfortable family holiday home. Lots of great local places to eat. Dog friendly pubs close by, would benefit from outside play equipment for children.

Thanks for your review of Mill Barn - it's great to hear you had a wonderful holiday overall. Thanks for your suggestions regarding outdoor play equipment which we'll certainly pass on to the owners. Bryony, Customer Support

The property was wonderful - like something out of the Ideal Home magazine! Beautifully and tastefully furnished, very comfortable beds and sofas, fabulous art work on the walls and lovely deep baths. It was hard to leave to go for days out sometimes! Once we did manage to leave the comfort of Mill Barn, it was in a wonderful location - near some great beaches, pubs and walks along the SW Coastal path. A very special place.

Great house for a big group of friends and family. Lovely quiet atmosphere and some amazing sunsets from the patio!

It was an absolute privilege to have a week's holiday with our large expanding family in this beautiful barn conversion, that has been tastefully decorated throughout, spacious but also cosy and comfortable. The land outside was wonderful for our two dog to run around and due to the seclusion of the property, free from any passing traffic. The cows in the field were an absolute joy to wake up too every morning. The property was spotlessly clean, plenty of pots and pans and utensils for use, and the use of the Aga was a joy. The property was ideally placed to visit local tourist hotspots, such as Port Isac, Rock and Padstow, Bude, with plenty of beaches where we were able to take our dogs. The heat wave in June was an added bonus None of our party had any complaints, and our age ranges were 3months to mid 50's, something for everyone. We would love to visit again

I can highly recommend the barn it is very spacious and peaceful we had 6 teenagers with us that loved the separate games room and the separate sleeping area !!!We had an 18th dinner party and the place was the perfect setting and allowing us a great BBQ the day after too as there was a great outside seating area.A lovely home feel with very tasteful decor!!!Lovely soft towels and comfy beds .Top tip as soon as you get there turn the Aga up otherwise you will have to wait to cook !!!

We all had a lovely time at Mill Barn. The property was perfect. Thank you to Classic Cottages for the brilliant service provided when booking our holiday. We will definitely be returning. Thank you.
