Loved our stay in Overstrand in a very quiet cul de sac. Everything was there. Beach en pub in walking distance.

Damp, musty cottage. In which we had an ant infestation throughout the inside of the cottage. All our bags, which we left in the hall had ants in them. The owner dealt with this by putting ant traps down (not ideal with 2 small toddlers)! But this was the only option as we had 2 young children and a pregnant woman. Garden was lovely and location ok.

We're so sorry that you had some problems with ants - the very hot dry summer this year seems to have encouraged them to try to seek shelter inside. We're glad that the owner was able to offer a workable solution. We've not been able to identify any damp in the house, but of course we'll keep a close eye on this - thanks for letting us know.
