We had a fantastic stay in Mermaid Cottage, the cottage was so well equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. The views across the countryside were amazing. Mermaid Cottage is located in the quiet village of Ruan Minor, just a short stroll down the hill is the picturesque fishing village of Cadgwith where you can watch the fishing boats come in, the local pub has folk nights where all the locals get together and sing. Mermaid Cottage is well located to explore the Lizard peninsula.

An ideal cottage in a beautiful location for a wonderful, worry-free holiday.

April 2017

A lovely comfortable holiday venue in a beautiful setting. Ruan Minor is a pretty village with some thatched cottages and good amenities.

We were extremely satisfied with the accommodation especially the ground floor double room with en suite shower room.

A chilly first week was helped by more than adequate central heating.

The cottage is a good centre for visiting the many pretty coves andd beaches on the Lizard peninsula and is not far from Earth Station Goonhillly for the scientifically minded!

Wi Fi was useful as was a good phone signal as we were able to keep in touch with family very easily.
