Beautiful village and location with great access to Bath, Wells, Cheddar and Glastonbury. Enjoyed the various ciders and local dog friendly pubs. All neighbours and villagers were very welcoming and friendly.

November 2018

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. There was so much thought put into the renovation and all the essentials were to a very high standard as well as the appliances. The cottage was lit up with pretty lights when we arrived as it was dark. It was all as advertised!

What is there not to love! 2 Batch Cottages really is an amazing little gem. From the decor, to quality of finish and the attention to detail, the owners of the cottage obviously really care about the overall experience of their guests. Nothing has been compromised and it's so good to find such a wonderful dog friendly cottage too. Loved all the little extras, the owners have thought about everything. There's a bottle of wine waiting for you on arrival and dog treats for four legged guests too. 2 Batch Cottages really is the perfect escape.

No festival on the year of my visit so blissfully quiet and very beautiful village. I had a very happy week based here in a very comfortable cottage.

April 2018

highly recommend this cottage for a holiday. Beautiful village setting. Cottage is warm and cosy with some wonderful historic features. A wonderful conservation and restoration. Also, near some really nice eating places and central for visiting Shepton, Glastonbury and Wells.

April 2018

This is an absolutely lovely cottage - very cosy and in a beautiful location.

February 2018

The cottage is lovely and the location is fantastic. We would definitely return.

December 2017

The cottage is newly renovated and tastefully decorated. The log burner was gorgeous and there was a welcome supply of logs and kindling and good instructions on arrival. The kitchen is well equipped even with a nespresso machine. The bed is comfy. The stairs are steep and headroom in the bedroom limited, so the cottage is not ideal for anyone with limited mobility.

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay - it certainly is a beautiful renovation of a very old property and perfect for a winter break! The steep stairs and the sloping ceiling upstairs (see bedroom photo) are original features, but could present a challenge for some guests - our Bookings team is always on hand to chat through any concerns and to help to find the very best cottage for our guests.
