Favonian itself was lovely with amazing views over the sea, including Cape Cornwall and Lands End. Carol the owner was very helpful and even brought us a fresh lobster partway through our trip, caught that afternoon. St Just is a decent little town with the essentials such as shops and pubs, although none of the pubs really appealed to us. Overall, we had a great time at the cottage and would certainly recommend it to anyone.

Lovely spacious bungalow in a quiet location, with easy walking access to the village shops, pubs etc. Wonderful view over the fields from the back windows/garden, and nice walks from the property. Well equipped and very clean. As mentioned to the owner only negative thing for us was we found the lounge sofa uncomfortable if sitting there too long. Would stay again though and highly recommend.

A stunning house is the most beautiful part of Cornwall...it is quirky and fantastically situated to walk into friendly St Just.

Beautiful and homely cottage with a stunning view. You can easily not use the car all week.

We have had a wonderful holiday. Lovely property, gorgeous location and very friendly hostess. The views from the house will live long in our memories. Found St Just to be a very friendly place, with all we could have wished for in the way of everyday living. We very much hope to return to holiday in St. Just again. Thank you. Kim and Mike Lamoureux

The cottage was delightful and in a perfect location on the edge of St Just. The picturesque garden is the perfect setting for an afternoon GnT but if it’s raining, enjoy the garden from the conservatory. The views from the main bedroom and living room across the open countryside to the sea are stunning. This is definitely a four seasons holiday retreat. Carol made us and our dog very welcome. She was on hand if we needed anything, gave us tips on local attractions and generally saw to it that we enjoyed every minute of our week in St Just.

Wonderful views and most convenient to the town and to innumerable footpaths.

This is a cornish gem, quite possibly the best rental property in St Just

Exceptionally high quality. Extremely comfortable. Great location. Immaculately clean. 10 out of 10.

Wonderful cottage and very relaxing

Fantastic holiday cottage in a beautiful location. Swimming at Priest's Cove was delightful.

Lovely location, quite with fabulous views with public footpath to the coastline on the doorstep. Facilities were excellent and the property spotless throughout. Very friendly welcome. We had a great holiday.

It is a beautiful house, exceptionally well maintained and in a great position with lovely views and easy access to the town and walks. Owner is the perfect host and was extremely helpful during our visit.

The house is comfortable, well equipped and clean, has wonderful views over the countryside and coast and is well situated for walking and beaches. St Just is a friendly little place with everything you need. The owner is very welcoming and helpful. All in all a great holiday and such a refreshing change after weeks of 'lockdown'. Thank you.

I really enjoyed my stay at Favonian. Even though the weather wasn't great, the cottage provided a warm, peaceful and very comfortable place to relax after a day's blustery hiking. The views from the cottage are fantastic, there are plenty of clifftop walks nearby, the Cot Valley is beautiful, and St Just has enough shops and pubs for everything you need while remaining a small village. I look forward to a return visit.

We have stayed in many cottages over the years, the last three through your company, all have been comfortable. Favonian was the most well equipped by far. It was extremely cosy and comfortable. The views from the windows were amazing. With sunsets to die for. The cream tea that was waiting for us on our arrival was very welcome. Sue & Jim Ayres. Stayed 30/08 - 13/09/2019. Weather mostly good

A beautiful house with stunning views. The perfect location to feel peaceful and away from it all, yet only 5 mins walk into the local village. One of the nicest houses we have stayed in during more than 25 years of visiting this area. Spotlessly clean, really comfortable beds plus all the home comforts you desire.

Stunning property in a fantastic location.

A very charming and comfortable property in a great location, with outstanding views. Plenty of walks and local places to visit. Would definitely recommend to family and friends and would definitely book this property again when we are next in the area.

Fantastic all round

Excellent property. Endless walks right on the doorstep and all the amenities you could want within easy walking distance. Such a enjoyable holiday that we have already made a reserve booking for next year.

Beautiful cottage very well equipped and comfortable with views to dream about.

The location and property were fantastic, views amazing; shops/eateries were a walk away through delightful, enclosed footpaths. The ease with which you could access Sennen for surfing either by car or bus was great. We will be back.

A beautiful house in a perfect location. A true home from home. Our second trip and we’ve already booked for 2019. As veterans of self-catering cottage holidays, Favonian is the best we’ve ever stayed in. Spotless, comfortable, equipped with everything we needed and more. And that gorgeous tree. Perfect.

A charming cottage, very well located for coastal walks, easy road travel to the rest of Cornwall and a great location with easy and safe (I.e. no walking on windy roads without paths) walking to St. Just town centre and it’s lovely pubs, shops and cafes.

My husband and I were impressed by the quality of the accommodation at Favonian. It was a very comfortable and well-equipped bungalow. The owner was extremely friendly and informative about the local area. The setting of the property was delightful. We would have no hesitation in recommending the accommodation to others. As we live in Australia we are unlikely to return to the area but, if we did, we would definitely return to this lovely home.

The property has excellent sea views. Is in a lovely quiet location and was spotless. The property was well appointed and the owner very welcoming.

An excellent outstanding bungalow!

This is a lovely cottage, beautifully prepared and peaceful from day one.

Its a lovely spacey bungalow. It's has got some amazing views to look at everyday, beautiful to wake up to. It's a 5 min walk into st just town where you have the shops and pubs. It's a lovely location to be, we found it very easy to get to everywhere we wanted to get to and still be out of a town. Peacefully quiet aswell. Thank you for letting us use and enjoy your home :)

Lovely welcome by the owner and the cream tea was a nice thought. The house was lovely, with magnificent views towards Cape Cornwall and Lands End, which we enjoyed. The situation was ideal for us, it was well placed for reaching various points on the coastal path which we were walking and made an excellent base for this. It was an easy flat walk into St Just for local shops and pubs. It was also excellent for dogs with a dog proof garden and good entrance area for muddy boots and muddy dogs to be dried off in.

Superb accommodation, set in an idyllic corner of the UK. Furthermore, the bed in the en-suite room is the comfiest we have ever slept in. We were able to shed the stresses of everyday life after spending just one night in this perfect bungalow. We cannot praise it enough.

Brilliant views lovely owner fabulous bungalow.

we loved this cottage. it has a lovely feel and layout. Plenty of comfortable spaces to relax and chill out. well designed interior. great views. lots of wonderful walks nearby.

It was such a beautiful and peaceful place to stay.

We spent two wonderful weeks at the Favonian in wonderful surroundings and felt really comfortable from the beginning. The house has a stunning location and is very well and extremely tastefully decorated. The large garden leaves nothing to be desired. We still often think back to the good times and hope that we will come back soon!

We arrived slightly early but the owner was most helpful and we were soon moving in. Liked the welcome tray and wild flower posy. The cottage lay-out is unusual but inspired. Architectural details excellent. There were good libraries of books, DVDs, CDs and games. The mix was eclectic and much enjoyed. I think this is the first cottage I have stayed in where the kitchen knives were beautifully sharp! The views were stunning. Wish we had booked for two weeks! We certainly hope to go back to Favonian soon.

Lovely cottage, great views, very welcoming to humans and dogs.

We enjoyed our stay very much and felt at home the day we arrived. The Cottage is furnishesd in the best of taste and very well aquipped. We enjoyed every day the panoramic view from every part of the house and the walks that start just from the frontdoor. We wished we could have stayed longer. (please excuse my English)

We have stayed in many rental houses in the UK and overseas but this was our favourite ever. A beautifully laid out home which made us feel like we were staying in a friend's home rather than in a rental property. Immaculately clean, high level of attention to detail - from local handmade soaps in the bathrooms to welcome posies, a tray of local tea-time treats and even fresh water and a treat for our dog. Very comfortable beds and furnishings and well equipped kitchen too - sharp knives, butter dish, a good selection of pans etc, none of which are to be found in most rental properties. We were delighted that the owner was able to recommend dog sitters which allowed us to go out to the Minack theater one evening and on an afternoon sailing trip, knowing that our dog was well looked after and even walked. Favonian's location means it's an ideal spot for a holiday with a dog - coastal paths from the doorstep, a local community farm shop just across the fields for fresh eggs etc, and local dog-friendly buses if you have particularly long walks! We are looking forward to a return visit before too long...

Favonian is in a stunning location with fabulous sea views from almost every window. A very relaxing place to stay. You can walk to St Just from the cottage. There are dog walks right from the door step which is great.
