Mrs Napper October 2019
Lovely relaxing location. Tasteful decor.. good walks nearby! Well equipped cottage x
Ms Motsinger June 2019
Lovely setting on beautiful farm. Open spaces for kids to play. Old barn conversion that is so well done. Kitchen well equipped and easy to use. Enjoyed quite a few meals in the cottage because we loved the setting and didn't want to go out often. Great location although the signage on the road could be improved as it is quite small and easily passed by. Had to order a taxi during our stay and they had a hard time finding us without exact GPS coordinates.

Our return visit to Ida Cottage with 4 adults and an energetic toddler. A lovely, well equipped, comfortable property with extensive grounds to sit beside river or play football. Near many National Trust properties with beautiful gardens to visit and child friendly facilities. Enjoyed immensely by our toddler grandson with lots of space to play ,the horses as an added bonus to watch. Owners helpful and prompt to rectify any problems.

this is a fab place , really nice and homely. Annabel was an amazing and warm host
Mr Tanner April 2018
A warning regarding the rather steep access to the lane from the main road - with a loaded car very easy to 'ground'

We're so sorry to hear that you had some access worries - we're not sure where the steep section was, as it's not something our Property Manager has encountered on her visits? There is a slight downhill slope but this isn't overly steep. We'll check it out again, but of course would also say that the beautiful little Dartmoor lanes will be a little more rugged than the bigger roads. Tanya, Customer Support
Mrs Morgan October 2017
More kitchen equipment than my own kitchen! Super cottage in a blissful setting. Mattress topper and bed linen was gorgeous. Shower was excellent. Three ensuites is obviously a bonus too. Beds very comfortable. Location was perfect for Tavistock and beautiful with the water running through so close to the cottages.
Mr Edwards October 2017
A thoroughly delightful stay. This is a beautiful property and very well situated to enjoy this part of Devon
Mrs McIntosh June 2017
Excellent property for a holiday with 6 adults. Plenty of room to sit and relax with a well equipped kitchen.
Location ideal for exploring Dartmoor but within reach of Plymouth and Exeter for those rainy days. Helpful but not intrusive hosts. A bonus with beautiful grounds with a stream to sit beside.
Mr Gruetter September 2016
Highly recommended place to stay at. The owners are very helpful. A lot of spots are in good reachable distance, and definively a good starting point for walks in the Dartmoor. We definitively will stay at Ida Cottage when we are in this area again.
Mrs Laming September 2016
This was the ideal location to explore Dartmoor and then come back to the cottage which was so relaxing. The owners too were very attentive and made our stay really enjoyable.
