This is the side that you will enter the cottage.
This is the corridor that links all the bedrooms - offering access to the courtyard as well.
This is the view from the garden and from the front of the property.
A lovely gated entrance will set the scene as you arrive.
This is the side of the property that you will see first, on arrival. Parking is around to the end and to the left.

A lovely stay in an exceptionally comfortable and well maintained property. Lovely big hallway to leave your walking boots and macs. Felt very much at home.

July 2018

The cottage is set in a peaceful location. It is furnished excellently throughout. All bedrooms are spacious with excellent ensuite. It is ideal for exploring Somerset, Devon and the Jurassic coast. It exceeded our expectations.

April 2018

As we have said we would love to go back at some time in the future we found it very relaxing

February 2018

The cottage is a roomy & comfortable one, situated in a scenic area with plenty of parking and peace & quiet. We were greeted personally and made to feel very welcome, although the owners live next door we were not intruded upon at any time. Would be happy to visit again.

October 2017

A warm, friendly and informative welcome.

September 2017

Lovely people, lovely setting and a week where we truly relaxed. Our sort of place and the standard of cleanliness and attention to detail was exceptional.

Coach House Stables is a wonderful, well equipped cottage in a rural quiet area. There is a nice sunny terrace behind the house and also a seating place in the front. The house was perfectly clean. Each room was individually furnished and carefully decorated, also with big bouquets of flowers! And every bedroom has a luxury bathroom. Alan and Tina are great hosts and they have given us a "warm welcome". Highly recommendable!

August 2017

Lovely location. The rural feel was fantastic. The owners were great, they greeted us when we arrived and showed us around which made us feel very welcomed. The accommodation was fantastic.

June 2017

A very comfortable property, tastefully decorated. In a lovely peaceful setting with lots of wildlife to see from the windows. Although mainly on one level, this property would not be suitable for wheelchair users.

Reply from Classic Cottages

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. The property isn't actively promoted for wheelchair users (there is a short flight of steps from the sitting-room to the bedroom corridor - please see our photos for details), but for guests who prefer to be mainly on the level and can manage just a few steps, it offers a beautiful retreat. Kitchen not suitable for catering for 6 people

Reply from Classic Cottages

We're sorry you felt the kitchen wouldn't be suitable for cooking for a party of six. We appreciate that it's not the largest of kitchens, but there are lots of items (in excess of our Minimum Inventory requirements) including some extra crockery and cutlery in the Welsh dresser in the dining-room - maybe you didn't find these during your stay. Lovely location and very comfortable accommodation and garden

October 2016

Fabulous property, wonderful welcome by the owners, gorgeous furnishings! The beds were comfy and en suites luxurious. Highly recommend this as a holiday let! Especially super if, as we had, there is a person in your party who finds it hard to climb stairs. The local pub has some good food too and there is a nice playground close by for the kids. Great!!
