Rockwater Cabin has one of the best positions on the clifftop.
The cabin nestles into the cliff.
The master bedroom with its comfy king-size bed and a view straight out to sea.
The pretty dining-area, with bunting and fairy lights adding to the charm.
The galley kitchen is small but perfectly formed.
So well-equipped.
A 1963 New World Cooker - still in great working order.
All the pots and pans you need to cook up a feast.
It will be difficult to get out of bed with a view like that!
The single bedroom at the back of the cabin.
The dining-table sits under the eaves so please mind your head.
The lounge is wonderfully light and airy...
The antique-effect gas stove will keep you warm and toasty whatever the weather.
The owner is a terrific artist and her work is displayed throughout the cabin.
Some more of the owner's artwork.
For a small cabin the shower-room is a good size.
The Tide Times is essential reading here - but please leave it behind at the end of your stay so that the next guests can read it too.
The original gas lights are still in the cabin, simply to admire as they are no longer in working order.
You may need this to identify your finds from the beach......
Use these to spot dolphins.
Pretty fairy lights add to the romance of the cabin.
The patio doors in the kitchen lead out onto the decking-area.
With that view you will want to dine al fresco from sunrise to sunset.
The large decking-area takes full advantage of the view.
Come on in - an idyllic cliffside paradise awaits.
Pretty plants in a variety of unusual containers all add to the charm.
The gate to the pathway which leads up to the road or down to the beach.
When the tide is out you have almost four miles of golden sand to explore.
Your four-legged friend will have such a great time on the beach - it's dog-friendly all year long.
On a clear day you can see as far south as Lizard Point.
This is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and it really is beautiful.
One of the paths down to the beach.

February 2018

We arrived on a grey windy day and stepped into this haven of peace warmth and cosyness. From the clean painted floor boards to the snuggly blankets, the fire and the fairy lights. We needed a few days to catch up with each other and rock water cabin was the perfect remedy. Even if it was blowing a gale outside,it didn’t matter. Rock water was the perfect escape. Thank you.

A big thank you to the owners for listening to suggestions and changing things, e.g. heightening the kitchen bench to accommodate the vegetable rack underneath and providing table and chairs and sun loungers for the deck. We said we'd return, we did and we will again....stunning location

Path to the cottage can be a bit tricky at times especially when carrying luggage bags etc.

We hope you had a great stay at Rockwater Cabin - the clifftop location is unique, and in this instance that means the access is down an uneven track which we appreciate is more difficult when carrying bags, but we hope you agree the fabulous views are worth the effort. Tanya, Customer Support

Don't want too many people to hear of this idyllic cosy cabin as we may not be able to get booked in future, but hope to return again and again please! Going to sleep and waking to the sound of the sea, the views, the warm welcoming feel are just perfect and relaxing, we could watch for the tide going out from the deck and then be down there in minutes, which suited our dog to a tee!! This place felt loved and we now love it too!! Thank you
