A wonderful cottage set in the heart of the village but in easy reach of the coast, NT properties and many other attractions. A warm welcome from the owners and a Welcome Pack which was very comprehensive. The cottage was well stocked with consumables and spares for any that might run out. In over 40 years of self catering we rated this the best for value, comfort, quality and amenities. For us this should be the gold standard for others to try and achieve. Thanks to the owners Jane and Michael.

A wonderful place to stay. A really delightful cottage with all you could possibly need for a good holiday and Jane is a brilliant host too. Lots of places of interest nearby. Yep, we'd go back!

April 2018

This lovely cottage is a credit to the owners - great attention to detail and extremely comfortable. Jane was the perfect host and made me feel very welcome. I truly enjoyed my stay - even the weather improved eventually!

Wonderful cottage, Jane was lovely, and left us lots of treats! The decor and furnishings were fabulous, we couldn’t have been more comfortable. Really well placed for exploring Somerset and Dorset. We would definitely recommend this place.

We loved our stay at the Coach House. It’s located in a beautiful place, perfect for walks and in close proximity to many interesting tourist locations. We particularly enjoyed Lyme Regis on a sunny day.

The coach house itself has everything you need, the welcome pack went above and beyond, helping us to settle in quickly.

Jane was a lovely host and couldn’t do enough for us.

We would highly recommend the coach house as a perfect country escape.

The Coach House is pretty much perfect and the owners are really caring which shows in the condition of the property. Also the welcome pack we received on arrival was a lovely touch. Keep up the good work guys 10 out of 10

August 2017

A lovely, clean, well equipped cottage. It was ideal for a relaxing break and exploring the local area. A warm welcome from Jane when we arrived together with the 'goodies' was a lovely gesture.

February 2017

The cottage was perfect , clean, cosy and everything that you would need was there, utensils and decore are high standard and our host Jane was marvelous, nothing was too much trouble. Would stay here again and hope to book in March 2018

November 2016

Was a couple days break we will cherish, from the diamond of a owner to the lovely decor and feel of the cottage! Felt like a home away from home and didn't want to leave and head back to reality. Thank you

July 2016

The landlords have been very accommodating. We felt like in paradise!

June 2016

We had a wonderful week at the Coach House. The property is very well equipped, nicely decorated and has a patio set in a beautiful garden. The goodies on arrival were a real treat. Jane the owner is very kind and helpful, but not intrusive. The location is perfect with many NT properties, gardens, pubs/restaurants and the beach within short driving distance. Highly recommended!

April 2016

Lovely cosy cottage for short break away. Nice location with easy access to surrounding area. Owner was lovely and we enjoyed the little treats provided on arrival. Will recommend to family and friends

March 2016

We were the first guests to stay at The Coach House for 3 nights and it was absolutely lovely! Jane was there to welcome us and show us around and had even left a few Easter treats which was a very nice touch. Given the horrible weather, she gave us really good ideas for days out and places to see which was really helpful. The cottage was perfect and had everything you needed to make you feel at home - the kitchen had all the utensils you needed to make a feast (plus the dishwasher saved on a lot of washing up) and the cottage itself was lovely and cosy with the wood burner and electric heating. It's located in a small village with a local pub right around the corner but there are plenty of places to visit nearby by car. I would 100% recommend this place and would love to go back!
