The cottage is well equipped and is located in an area that provides easy access to the facilities available in Portscatho, including the coastal path. The Royal Standard pub is in the process of being renovated and the work will have some impact on privacy. The fencing that surrounds the patio are has been removed making this area impracticable to use for outside seating etc owing to its close proximity to the lane and the car park.

Very comfortable stay with our dog in an excellent location for village amenities and lovely dog walks.

Excellent cottage , well equipped and sparkling clean. Very thoughtful welcome pack . We will definitely be returning next year.

This old workshop has been converted to a very high standard and is spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is well-equipped with a great dining table that extends.

The bathroom has a very roomy shower and as there is under floor heating it soon dries out.

The bedroom has good storage space and comfortable beds - although they are a little creaky.

It was in a perfect location for us to explore the Roseland peninsula.

Have already booked to stay there again next year.

Overall really good. It had everything we needed. Had to wash all the crockery and cutlery because some of it was visibly dirty. Mattresses are lumpy. 'Timber-clad cottage' it was not but, once inside, beautifully done.

Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a review for Spaven Mor and we're delighted that you enjoyed your break. We're so sorry that there were a couple of things missed at the changeover - we'll have a chat with the owners to ensure that this does not happen again, so thank you for letting us know. We do find that mattress comfort is very much a personal preference, but we'll pass on your feedback to the owners as guest comfort is very important to us and them. Tressa, Customer Support

Well equipped and spotlessly clean throughout the accommodation with all of the necessary appliances which are very easy to use. The owners are friendly and helpful and not at all intrusive. Very pleasant pub to which accommodation is attached.

The property suited our needs and was very well equipped, especially the kitchen and very comfortable. We had a very friendly welcome and really enjoyed our stay. Would definitely recommend.

A wonderfully situated, clean and functional accommodation. The owners are very friendly and helpful. It is also ideal for dog owners. Our Springers loved it!

An ideal and comfortable base for enjoying the beautiful surroundings.

What a lovely, lovely place to stay! The owners were really welcoming, the nice touch of of milk, eggs, bread and butter
was greatly appreciated. Just the most perfect position for our coastal walking and a pub next door such a bonus. Thank you so much!

We had a lovely holiday at Spaven Mor. Very comfortable cottage and nicely situated for walking to the local beaches.

Beautiful converted garage, very comfortable and clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it is a 3 minute walk from the coffee haven that is Tatums and very easy access for the rest of the Portscatho area. It is at the top of a hill but that simply means you can eat more pasties on your holiday. Very good value for money, 9 out of 10, would recommend to a friend!

We had a lovely relaxing break with great walking in the area as we had our dogs with us.

We had a lovely stay at Spaven Mor. A lot of thought has gone into the presentation of this property and the owners, whilst being very close at hand, were very friendly but never intrusive. We could walk directly out of the property and enjoy beautiful walks around the coastal path or wander down to the harbour. The Royal Standard provides excellent food, which is really useful if you have had a long walk and don't feel like preparing a meal. Prior to booking we were a bit concerned that its location between the pub car park to one side and the road to the other may be noisy, however it is only a quiet road and very few cars use the pub car park so it was not a problem. A very relaxing break for us and our dog!

We had a fantastic week staying in Spaven Mor on the beautiful Roseland Peninsula. This has been a favourite holiday destination of ours for the last few years and Spaven Mor provided the perfect location for exploring the local area and provides easy access to the village and the coast path. The cottage has everything you need and is very comfortably furnished. It was lovely to be able to bring our dog with us and she was also made very welcome.

The standard of the property completely came up to our expectations. We think the addition of the availability of Wi-Fi in the accomodation and password could be mentioned in the brochure. It was only by chance we found the details in one of the drawers. Even though the property was on a minor road the noise intrusion was minimal as was the Pubs car park noise. The property was cosy and warm and the undefloor heating was excellent. The patio area is a bonus which provides a personal space with table and chairs. We would personally recommend this property especially as it is Dog friendly.

A fabulous little cottage in a beautiful location. The village shop in Portscatho (just down the hill) really does have everything you could possibly want. A perfect retreat for complete relaxation.

The owners of Spaven Mor are extremely kind and friendly and have thought of everything to make a stay in their bungalow perfect.

Lovely modern, well designed cottage, light, bright and airy. Loved the location, lots of country and beach walks. Local butcher does delicious homemade sausages and burgers, also "real" bacon. There is also a well stocked local shop. The Royal Standard is a great pub, extremely dog friendly and they serve lovely freshly cooked food. We plan on returning.

we had a really lovely week in the cottage. even the dogs are catered for with blanket and dog towels if required. its very roomy for 2 people although not sure how it would feel with 4 people in, especially as the sofa converts to a bed settee. the cottage is a very modern, light and airy place and the welcome pack was a nice touch. its also lovely to have huge soft bath towels as not many people provide the really big ones. it was nice to have the little courtyard at the side of the cottage to sit out and for the dog to be entertained (dog tv) without being on view to anyone passing by. the village is really peaceful and the soft chimes of the church clock was lovely. the King Harry Ferry gets you across to Feock to avoid the longer run back to the A38 but not for the faint hearted if you don't like narrow, twisty turning bends. (£8 return journey in Sept 2018).

All in all very good accommodation Check small dogs cannot get out of gaps in fence

Thank you for your review of Spaven Mor; we're pleased you liked it. We know that some dogs will escape from anywhere but we do try to show the fencing style clearly in our photos. Unfortunately even where we advertise an enclosed garden we would never be able to guarantee that it would be fully escape proof, but we're always happy to find out some more information in advance of a booking if it helps. Quintessential, cosy, modern and clean. A great location to many local beauty spots including beaches galore. Has all your kitchen basics at hand and local eggs and freshly made bread on arrival was a lovely touch by the hosts. Even the dog got her own goody basket. With the pub next door, a wonderful place to stay at any time of year.

A very good venue for a short break or a longer holidaybon the Roseland.

We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. It is very well furnished and plenty spacious for 2 people. A warm welcome from the hosts with a pack including milk, eggs and bread. We will definitely book again.

Good location and a warm welcome from mine hosts awaits you. Plenty to see and do in the area.

We had a wonderful break, ideal for dog lovers easy to keep clean and tidy with the tiled floors. The proprietors were lovely and welcoming of course it wasn't a bad thing being in the grounds of a pub. The area was very picturesque with an abundance of beaches and walks to choose from. The cottage was emaculatly clean well presented and well equipped. Our dogs were welcomed with open arms which in turn made our stay more relaxing.

Perfect holiday with dogs. Very comfortable and pub next door!

Just a very comfortable and spacious cottage in a superb situation.

Minimal cleaning needed as cottage has under floor heating and fully tiled - ideal for wet days and wet dog.

Accomodation is superb as is the food available at the Royal Standard. Yes the road is busy and a little noisy at times but there is plenty to see and do in the area.

Very clean, lovely place to stay, ideal for dogs and just a short walk to the coast and shops, and having a nice friendly pub next to your accomadtion is a big plus.

We had a Very enjoyable stay there and the dog enjoyed his waks on the coast path aswell

Cottage was ideal in all aspects and we couldn't have wanted for more. Everything was thought of to make our stay perfect.

Spotlessly clean and well equipped accommodation in a quiet and peaceful location overlooking the village green, but just a few minutes walk from the lovely village of Portscatho. An excellent base for walks on the coastal path and the beautiful houses and gardens of Cornwall.

I had a lovely stay here with my dogs. There were two beaches and many beautiful walks nearby. The cottage was clean, updated, and comfortable. I would stay here again!

This accommodation is probably better suited to people who live in a town or built up area, who may consider this to be quiet in comparison.

Really good spot to be if you like walking.

The property was very nice and fitted to a very good standard and was in a great location. The pub may benefit by having a menu in the cottage so that you can order food to the cottage maybe.

Very comfortable with modern appliances. Open plan living with plenty of space for 2 people. Car parking. Is located on busy road .

Very modern, spacious and comfortable property. Furnished to a very high standard.

We couldn't have had better accommodation. Everything we needed in a lovely modern, bright and clean home from home in a perfect location. Having had such a positive experience, we wouldn't hesitate to book with Clasdic Cottages in the future.

Spaven Mor is a lovely holiday cottage and perfect for a relaxing break. The owners were extremely welcoming and helpful and had thought of lots of little extra touches such as a basket of treats for our dog, a welcome hamper for us and a trough of fresh herbs growing just outside the door. The cottage was very well-located: A short walk down the lane outside the cottage brings you to a footpath where you can choose to walk along the coast path towards Portscatho in one direction or Towan and St Antony's Head in the other.

Lovely beach close by. Pubs are nice and friendly. Make sure you visit the Hidden Hut for a bite to eat by the beach

Superb property, spotlessly clean and well appointed. Excellent hosts and nice additional touches, local bread, butter, eggs, milk and flowers on arrival. Food at the Royal Standard all home cooked and reasonably priced. We will be back.

We had a great time in a beautiful location and enjoyed meals at the friendly pub located right on the doorstep.
