October 2018

Very comfortable for a family with children, well furnished throughout with a very good range of appliances. Well located for exploring the Purbeck area.

September 2018

Northgate is well located within easy reach of all the many amenities Wareham has to offer. The cottage itself is a period property - extremely well cared for and appointed with all modern comforts. It is tastefully decorated, comfortable and spacious. It is within walking distance of the railway station (5-10 minutes) - ideal if you haven't brought your car and the bus services are pretty regular too! Close to all the shops, supermarkets, eating places etc and extremely handy for doing the Wareham Wall Walk! History is literally across the road at St Martin's on the Wall, an Anglo-Saxon church - an absolute must if you love your history, don't miss it! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Northgate to my family and friends.

March 2018

The facilities at North gate were superb, all needs catered for and beyond. If we needed it, it was there. I would definitely stay here again. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Don't bother to bring a guide book as the collection at North gate is extensive. Best kitted out kitchen in any holiday let we have been to, really comfortable bed. Great location with parking.

Had a very comfortable stay. Our stay was short but enjoyable and we would definately return. Many thanks.

The cottage is on the main road in Wareham and this has traffic on it from 5.30am to 11.00pm. This is disruptive of sleep in the two front bedrooms. There is secondary glazing to one bedroom but it is insufficient to block out the road noise. There are two parking spaces but you will only be able to use them and open your doors if the cars are very small - not a Golf or a Citreon Picasso (not overly large cars).

Thanks for taking the time to review Northgate. The town is popular and it's possible that you may have seen increased traffic during your stay due to the bank holiday, and there being more visitors wanting to explore this lovely area and coastline. The property is Grade II Listed, and so it is only possible to have secondary glazing to the front of the house, but we are sorry if you were disturbed. We appreciate your comments about the parking - we found that the spaces are suitable for most cars, but the Owner will be able to advise on alternatives if you're having trouble. UPDATE May 2017 Acoustic glass has recently been installed in both front bedrooms.

May 2016

Fantastic location and very welcoming owner. The property is extremely comfortable and very well equipped, however the road noise at the front of the property does detract from a five star rating.

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay at Northgate, and found the location suited you well. The town position does mean that there will be some passing traffic, especially when people are heading off to work, but there is double-glazing to help reduce this. Tanya, Customer Support

April 2016

Thanks for taking the time to review Northgate - we're delighted that you found it such a great base and made the most of the local eateries. The cottage is located within the town, so there will be some hustle and bustle as a trade off for the great position, but we hope you had a wonderful stay nevertheless. Tanya, Customer Support
