Fantastic house, with breathtaking views! This was our 3rd visit and it doesn't loose its charm!

Location! Location! Location! Right on the water, this spectacular house is perfect for time out with friends. The only sound that broke the silence during our blue sky and sunny weekend was birdsong. It's a stone's throw from Portscatho and the coastal path so had everything you could wish for.

1st time we stayed at weatheroak we loved it, which is why we chose to go back. 2nd stay was really disappointing. Cannot over emphasise how appalling the mattress was (is) in the main bedroom. This seems crazy in view of the excellent quality of the hard furnishings in the bedroom, including the bed. Such a shame to spoil such a beautiful house for lack of a few essentials. Looked like it had not been touched for a year.

Thanks so much for taking the time to pass on your comments. We've checked with the housekeeper and the mattress is the same Vi-Spring mattress that was there during your previous stay as far as she's aware. We're really sorry that you didn't find it comfortable on this ocassion and we have passed your comments on. Tanya, Customer Support

Weatheroak is a beautiful home with idyllic views in a quiet yet convenient location. You can rent kayaks next door, drive to the beach (Porthcurnick 5 min), get groceries (Portscatho 5 min), go to fantastic restaurants (St. Mawes, Driftwood, Nare Hotel, etc. 10-15 min), and even have a shopping day out (30 min Truro). It's the type of home that makes you wish you owned it.

October 2016

Amazing views, stunning location, homely welcoming house, overall a great place to stay whilst exploring the Roseland

October 2016

The place is heavenly but bear in mind the boatyard is active all day which can intrude the peace. Morning and evening are fabulously tranquil we feel privileged to stay.

June 2016

An outstanding house and position

May 2016

Such is the perfect setting it would be so easy to sit on the terrace and wile away your time taking in the wonderful views from Weatheroak. To do so whilst tempting would be a waste as there is much to do and see on the Roseland. Plenty of walks on your doorstep, stunning beaches close by make Weatheroak the perfect location for a family holiday.
