This property is all about location, a short walk down the hill to the nearest beach, store and places to eat. 15 minute walk east along the coast takes you to the Hidden Hut and Porthcurnick beach. Walk 45 minutes west and you get to the gorgeous Towan beach and the Thirstea van. The property itself is a bit dated and shabby, it does have unexpectedly good sea views from the garden, lounge and larger bedrooms. It's a good choice if you want to get out and explore, particularly if you don't want to drive.

Thanks so much for your review of Seashells - it's great to hear that you had enjoyed the wonderful location of the property and the beautiful views and you certainly had some fantastic weather for it. The property is furnished and decorated in a traditional style which we feel is portrayed in the photos but we will of course forward your feedback to the owners for their attention. We spotted a stick insect on the garage wall. On investigation it turned out to be a Brown unarmed stick insect. It is believed there is a small population of then in this area if Cornwall. They are rare so all sightings should be reported.

The sea view from the house was actually better than described! The house is a bit tired, but perfectly acceptable for the price. It would hugely benefit from a welcome/infornation booklet rather than a few messages pinned to the board - just to make it feel more like a holiday home

A lovely holiday cottage in a great location (if you don't mind a steep hill) well equipped for up to five people with a great outdoor area/garden and great views. The hard beds meant we didn't always sleep well despite all the sea air. I would rate it 4/5 if the beds had been comfortable.

Thanks for your review - the house is on a hill above the village as detailed in our description, we think it's a great way to offset those holiday cream teas! We're sorry that the beds weren't to your taste, but hope you had a great stay overall. Tanya, Customer Support

Appreciated the peace and quiet and privacy to relax. Very good location, near to beach and lovely walks along the coast.

Great location with easy walks along the cliffs interspered with great little cafes with the best views and beaches. This is a wonderful location for families. it is easy to catch the ferry to Falmouth or just spend the day rockpooling. We had terrific views of seals whilst walking the coast. Thanks for providing this great place to stay.
