Stunning location which compensates for any minor issues

Wonderful lodge. Comfortable, well furnished and with the most amazing views.

After so many visits we feel it is like home when we are there.

Excellent location. Superb views.

Lovely house with fantastic view

A lovely position, perfect for beach & walking. Access to front door a little awkward especially if you have walking difficulties. If you like to watch TV this isn't the place for you. Not enough seating in TV room. Place requires some tlc

We're so pleased you found the location so convenient and hope you enjoyed exploring the beautiful beach from your own private footpath. Thanks for your helpful comments and suggestions which we've shared with the owners. We do hope that you'll consider a return visit in the future. Julie, Customer Support

A good property in a great location, but in need of some TLC and modernisation. We lacked mugs / glasses on arrival but spoke to Classic and they were, as always tremendous - empathetic, kind and helpful! As for the property the main problem is the trees / hedges are just starting to block some of the lovely view. This will probably only be a bigger issue from next year onwards as the vegetation continues to grow.

Other than the view slowly blocking a lovely holiday in a great area.

Thank you for your lovely comments we are so glad to read that you enjoyed Porthcurnick Lodge. We have asked the gardener to take a look at the hedges - thank you for highlighting this. We are so glad that we could assist with the mugs and glasses! If you need any assistance booking your next Classic break we are more than happy to help. Sarah, Customer Support

Lovely property in a peaceful location with wonderful views.

Porthcurnick Lodge is the perfect location in just about every way. We love it!

a great place to stay, lives up to the classic cottage expectations. thanks for a peaceful and relaxing break. Shabz and Matt.

Unspoilt views of the beautiful beaches and sea. Comfortable property for a family with easy access to the beach and coastal walks Easy to get to St Mawes by car and local villages The owner is open to constructive feedback which we gave . Would return, would recommend. Who needs a tv when you have these views!!! Only reason it got a 4 star and not 5 is the property would benefit from a few touch ups.

A comfortable lodge (fabulous beds, large fluffy towels and an amazing shower in the main bathroom) with the most stunning views. Well kept gardens, with your own private path to the beach. A car is essential though unless you are very fit as it’s quite hilly. The only thing preventing us from re booking is the lack of the TV in the lounge. The snug with its current set up does not offer comfortable seating for 3 adults. This is a personal choice but essential to meet all the requirements of our family!

Great house, it is as close as you like to the beach & with a private path down to it. For relaxing, there is plenty of space in the house and after a day or so it really feels like a home away from home.

Get to the Hidden Hut early though as the queues get pretty long!

I did call as the hairdryer had broken but I never got a replacement after I left a message. It was ok but just wanted you to know

This is just a very relaxing property to stay in, with an excellent farm shop and various hotels close at hand should you need them.

A quite beautifull bungalow in the most wonderfull setting.

Amazing view - couldn't be bettered! All round comfort with furnishings throughout the cottage.

Excellent property and location overlooking Porthcurnick beach. The hidden hut was within easy reach of the cottage

We are returning guests to Porthcurnick Lodge which is extremely comfortable and welcoming and with amazing views. We really love it there and always have very happy holidays.

Porthcurnick Lodge is wonderful; very comfortable, well equipped and with the most amazing views. We had a great week here and the weather was lovely.

Perfect location and perfect accommodation (Five Star Plus in both cases).

We have used Classic Cottages on three occasions now and each time Classic has bettered our (high) expectations. No other Holiday Cottage Company has EVER done this. We are now 'Classic Converts'. Well done!

The views from the cottage are wonderful. This is a very pretty part of Cornwall with lots to see and do. We found the property in need of updating and general renovation.

Perfect location for a relaxed south Cornwall break slightly off the beaten track. Superb coves and national trust walks right on the doorstep but with easy access to pubs, places to eat and places to shop. Kayaking available for hire for the more adventurous. If the weather is fine then the view is amazing, if the weather is blowing a gale then the view is equally amazing! Beware though - only space for one car on the drive.

Thanks so much for your lovely review; we're delighted that you had a lovely stay. We're going to review the parking availability at Porthcurnick Lodge - especially as cars are getting larger and longer! - and we'll update the website as necessary. Tressa, Customer Support

Ideal for walkers with direct access to coastal path in both directions. Wildlife abundant. Views of coastline delightful, even in stormy weather. Difficult parking for more than one car.

Thanks so much for your review of Porthcurnick Lodge - we're so pleased you had a wonderful time overall and enjoyed the fantastic walking right on your doorstep. Porthcurnick Lodge offers private parking for two cars on the driveway of the bungalow. The lane is shared with Porthcurnick Studio and another property so we recommend that larger cars are parked on the left side of this area to allow manoeuvring and parking room for all. Looking to return next year.

Porthcurnick Lodge is amazing. So very well equipped and the views and the comfort are superb.

Location 5 stars *

Cottage 3 stars *

Location is everything about this cottage, relaxing and taking in the view very difficult to beat.

A truly magical place with sea views that would be very hard to rival. To fall asleep and awaken to the sounds of the sea with birdsong accompanying is a very special experience. Two minutes down to the beautiful clean beach via the "secret" garden path and ten to lovely Portscatho village along the coastpath. The Roseland peninsula is so pretty and there are lots of gorgeous beaches, walks and villages to visit. We hope to continue to stay here for many years to come.

Porthcurnick Lodge is wonderful, so well equipped and the location is superb.

The cottages advantages far exceed the negatives. The location and surroundings are second to none. Waking up every morning to the sound of the waves was so relaxing. Would have no hesitation in recommending this property.

Very comfortable, stunning location, always clean and tidy. Could not wish for more.
