The Beach House at Rosevine is a lovely find, wonderful views of sea and sky, very well equipped kitchen with high quality crockery and great cooking knives, comfortable bed, powerful shower, and great internet connection. Warm, cosy, and beautifully cared for, in a great position for lovely dog walks on beaches, the SW Path, and in woods along the river made for a very enjoyable holiday.
Mrs James September 2020
Very conveniently placed for visiting the local farm store.
Mrs Bonnick July 2020
We were lucky to have booked The Beach House just as lockdown was lifted and were delighted to return to an area we love. The property is a short walk from Porthcurnick Beach and is brilliantly located for coastal walks. The weather was perfect for our stay but the property is so well equipped and cosy, it would be a lovely place to stay all year round. Lots of thought has gone into making it a home from home and the description of the property was very accurate. On arrival the property was immaculate and very clean with no trace of previous doggie visitors. The garden was safe and secure for our dog and has a wonderful view. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to return.
Mrs Smith March 2020

A lovely homely cottage, well equipped, with stunning view, in a well appointed location. A home from home. What more could you ask for?
The cake, coffee and Christmas card with personal message was a lovely touch.

Ms Brightman June 2019
In glorious weather this little cottage was a gem. The living area opens up to make the most of the view, the sun and the refreshing sea breeze. The bedroom at the rear was always cooler. Portscatho is a lovely stroll for a coffee or the grocery store and the farm shop in the other direction is great for fresh vegetables, fruit and locally caught fish (closed Sunday when I was there). The Hidden Hut is also yards away for a nice lunch or icecream. Porthcurno beach is just down the lane and you could walk forever around the coastline although this does get more challenging in places. The short walk up from the beach to the cottage is uphill but that works off the icecream!! Wholly recommended particularly if you can also be lucky with a week's sunshine.
Mrs Mellor June 2019
Another wonderful holiday at the Beach House which is so comfortable, clean and an absolute pleasure to stay in. The cottage is equipped with everything you could need on a holiday, all of which is such good quality. Our little Border Terrier was very much at home - we all spent many happy hours in the lovely garden with such wonderful views. Can't wait to return!
Mrs Stanbury April 2019
We love everything about this little cottage! It has everything you could wish for comfort and relaxation and is situated in a quiet area with outstanding views towards Nare Head from the enclosed garden. Lovely walks all around and along the coastal path in both directions are perfect for a not-too-energetic stroll, if that's what you want! Further along the coast would be more taxing! Just a 10 minutes or so walk to Portscatho for supplies etc makes for easy living and there are loads of good eating places within short driving distances. We have visited several times and are always looking forward to the next!
Mrs Mallett April 2019
This is truly a home from home, the location is superb. The views from the garden are stunning. We can't wait to visit here again.
Mrs Purnell May 2018

Mrs Stanbury April 2018
We love everything about this little cottage! We have stayed in it 3 times now, and look forward to the next time as soon as we have to leave! From the tea and shortbread waiting for us on arrival, and the flowers on the table to the time we hang up the key again at the end of our stay, it suits us down to the ground!
Mr Blow March 2018
A lovely little cottage with amazing access to the beach and coastal footpath.
Mrs Cauchi October 2017
A beautiful cottage, well equipped in the heart of the Roseland peninsular. Stunning views with a 150m walk to a lovely beach and only a further 10 minutes into the lovely village of Portscatho. A place to unwind, relax and enjoy the splendour of the scenery and wildlife.
Mrs Lewis September 2017
A superbly equipped little cottage, in a wonderful location, just a very short walk down the lane to a beautiful sandy, dog friendly beach. The Beach House was very dog friendly, even a hose in the garden to wash muddy dogs. Our Golden Retriever, Max, loved the garden which has wonderful unobstructed views over the cliffs and sea. We hope to return one day.
Mrs Thompson July 2017
There is absolutely nothing more the owners of this jewel could possibly have provided to improve it. From the quality bed linen and pillows to the sofa, chairs, garden chairs and tables, to the more than adequate and quality items of cooking equipment, cutlery, toaster, dishwasher .......... and on, all are simply lovely. The colour scheme of blues and creams which are carried through all the furnishings, curtains, tiles etc are so tasteful and in all make for a home that is so welcoming, easy to keep clean and restful. I did my very best to follow the recycling request which was wholly after my own way of living. Thank you owners I hope to return.
Miss Goddard June 2017
It has everything you need in a holiday cottage matched with a great location. In all a winning combination.
Mrs Brooks May 2017
It was a lovely cottage very comfortable with lots of lovely touches for your comfort. A lovely walk to the Hidden hut and the village pub that did lovely food.
Mrs Stanbury April 2017
There were some excellent additions and improvements to the cottage since our visit in 2016. We were very happy as it was, but this year surpassed our expectations! New decor, a bigger bed, new sofa and easy chair (if I was being picky, this could be a little higher to better enjoy the view of Nare Head!), new dining table and chairs etc etc, all enhanced our stay in this lovely little cottage with a view! The sunny garden (we were very lucky again), peace and quiet and the walks along the coast will entice us back again and again. We love the Roseland, and this cottage in particular and will without doubt be back for more!
Mrs Nute February 2017
It exceeded our expectations . The owners had put a huge amount of thought into ensuring that there was everything we needed to make our stay so easy . We particularly enjoyed using lovely mugs , and have an extremely well stocked kitchen which was a joy to use . We enjoyed being welcomed into an extremely well appointed home , rather than an impersonal 'holiday let' . Great collection of novels and brilliant cook books to brouse through . Location and aspect were perfect for us to explore the stunning peninsula. Pop up coffee in the old loos in Porthscatho does excellent coffee and cake!
Mr Wade December 2016
