Pitt Farm Cottage

Mrs Eggleton September 2023
This cottage is in an idyllic position with the countryside on your doorstep. Dulverton is five miles away and has an excellent well stocked store for your supplies. The cottage is beautifully kept and absolutely immaculate with everything you need. Rob, the host, was friendly and approachable, he couldn’t have been more helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend this cottage.
Dr Bleeze September 2023
An absolute gem of an Exmoor 17th Century cottage sympathetically restored in a wonderful friendly quiet village - only the noise of the cattle, sheep and birds can be heard! A regular retreat for me away from the cares and worries of life, to refreshing sleeps in the comfortable bed, walks with the very well-behaved labrador dogs, and in the evenings reading in front of the cosy fire. There is so much to do locally but for most of the time I am content to just walk around the beautiful garden, local drover's roads and relax in the cottage. It is SO VERY clean - very important at this time of uncertainty still with covid - I feel happy to move is straight away, cook and eat - which is actually quite unusual for me! The owners are very friendly, helpful but unobtrusive. Pitt farm Cottage "feeds my soul" and I always return home at peace.
Mrs De Tisi September 2023
The cottage is super clean and very comfortable. Rob and Sarah are excellent hosts and you feel very well looked after. So many places to visit nearby but the countryside walks take some beating. This is a perfect bolt hole for some R & R.
Mrs Holt September 2023
Rob and Sarah are excellent hosts - they are both so friendly and welcoming. The cottage is very well appointed with high quality fittings. The cottage is absolutely spotless, and meets our own very exacting standards. We enjoyed sitting in the lovely garden overlooking the beautiful countryside. We have stayed in many such places over the last 10 years and Pitt Farm Cottage is within the top four. There are beautiful walks close by and nice towns / villages to visit. Thank you Rob and Sarah for a lovely week.
Mr Grimson June 2023
If you are looking for a peaceful retreat to recharge this I definitely the place for you.
Mrs Ekste June 2023
The cottage and surroundings are idyllic. A really peaceful place to relax with the geese and chickens for neighbours! The hosts are very friendly and helpful and they keep the cottage in immaculate condition. We had everything we could need for a very comfortable stay. Enjoyed our chats with Rob. Would love to return one day and would recommend to anyone who loves the peace and quiet. Liana and Martin
Mrs Dudley June 2023
Pitt cottage was extremely clean and very well equipped. The location was just perfect. The owners were really friendly and welcoming. We loved it and would definitely want to return.
Ms Martin June 2023
as a lone female on holiday - I couldn't have found myself in a more perfect environment. The Cottage is so lovely everything I needed of the home comforts plus beautifully done.. very romantic for couples. the bed is scrummy . The greeting was wonderful friendly and so informative. Rob and Sarah could not have been more welcoming and approachable. a few little gifts of fresh eggs, milk and biscuits - I needed time for myself to get away from the stress of daily life - I knew they were there if needed, but left me to have my space. I found the Hamlet and surrounding valley and woodland walks to be so beautiful and peaceful that I arrived on the Friday, and didn't feel the need to use my car till the Monday - when I thought I ought to see a bit of Exmoor since coming so far. this is not for the people who want night life ( unless the night sky's - no light pollution - it's fantastic) pubs and shops are a car drive away - so initially take provisions - in a nutshell - I AM DEFINITELY GOING BACK x Jennie M
Mrs McDonald May 2023
This was our second stay at Pitt Farm Cottage and once again it didn't disappoint. Gorgeous cottage, beautiful surroundings and lovely friendly hosts. There may well be a third visit to come!
Mr Hodges May 2023
Pitt Farm Cottage is a charming, comfortable and peaceful retreat with a welcoming and helpful host, Rob. All mod cons are to a high standard but the cottage character is retained; the perfect mix! The upstairs is wonderfully light with a reading chair and desk, and a very comfortable bed, and outside there is a good seating area which catches the afternoon sun and overlooks the garden, chickens and fields. Lovely! The location is good with a lot of desirable destinations within a relatively short drive and good walks are to be had very easily. Just loved it and we were rather reluctant to leave!
Dr Bleeze April 2023
Another happy repeat visitor. I arrived to lovely sunny weather so that downstairs the cottage was bathed in sunlight from the gallery upstairs. As usual it was spotlessly clean; no pets are allowed. Sitting outside on the decking I enjoyed watching the gamboling lambs in the fields to the south, and adventurous ones climbing the tree south of the farmyard. The local cows were calling to be let out of the barns onto the still wet fields - in anticipation of fresh pasture - when they are released they dance with joy then devour the fresh grass! The geese and chickens will soon be able to be "free range" again as the bird flu rules are lifted! The birds are nesting especially blue tits in the nest boxes around Pitt Farm, the friendly hand-fed robin is still there, and the beautiful bullfinch. The blackbird sings a lovely melodious song at dawn and the sunsets to the west are wonderful. The cottage garden is so pretty, with pink camellia and wild lemon yellow primroses and daffodils. The view of the west side of the cottage is like a "Hobbit House" with the amazing chimney and local stone. A sympathetically restored 17th Century cottage, with a contented feel - whosoever lived here in the past was very happy. A wonderful place to escape the stresses and strains of life and recharge your batteries - in the company of the owners lovely well behaved dogs who will take you on country walks! Then back to a good book and glass of wine before the toasty fire! "I will be back!"
Mr Gwilliam March 2023
This cottage is a real gem.It is beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. We were wonderfully warm with the woodburner after some long days out walking on beautiful Exmoor. Rob the owner is kind , friendly and welcoming. Our second visit and we will be returning.
Mrs Thiebaut March 2023
A very comfy stay in a delightful rural cottage, with a warm welcome from helpful owner. We especially enjoyed the log burner after a cold day out. Set in beautiful countryside and enjoyed driving across Exmoor and visits to Dulverton with it’s quirky shops and Dunster Castle for great views.
Ms Fox February 2023
We wanted somewhere to get away from it all and this was the perfect place for peace and tranquillity. The cottage is warm and inviting with everything you need. Rob, the owner, so friendly. We would definitely be back in the future.
Dr Bleeze January 2023
Escape to a 17th Century cottage deep in the Somerset countryside on the edge of Exmoor, at the end of a drover's track, peaceful and quiet and no passing traffic and only the sounds of nature and farming life, with dark skies full of constellations. An ideal retreat for for a single person or a couple, cared for by friendly unobtrusive hosts, in a valley complete with a stream, surrounded by wonderfully kept farm, long walks, and a friendly village with a Saxon church. Close by are beautiful Exmoor, the coast to the north, small towns ( Dulverton ) and larger ones ( Tiverton ) and many NT and EH properties to explore. Walk into the private entrance with a stone flagged floor, take off muddy boots sitting on a church pew, then flop onto the settee or armchair by the fire with a mug of tea. In the evenings read or watch TV with a glass of wine under a cosy throw - warm in the winter with central heating as well as the fire. During the day in the summer this area is a welcome cool place especially with the breeze from the open stable doors. Self-cater in the well appointed galley kitchen and eat on the Victorian table or outside in the private garden listening to nature. There are so many local places to eat if you don't want to cook. Upstairs dream well in the comfortable bed, with beautifully ironed and fragrant bedding , and fall asleep watching the moon and stars in the night sky. Wake to the sound of birdsong and the lovely tree framed in the velux window - in autumn the leaves are the most beautiful colour. Have a great shower in the bathroom - a powerful rain one for men, but another adjustable one for the girls who don't like to get their hair wet! Dry off with very fluffy Egyptian towels. For a day in, sit in the chair upstairs in the light and airy area to read, on the table use a laptop, even lie on - or in - the bed and watch a film on TV! Or just day-dream! Outside explore the S and W facing gardens with the chicken, geese, birds and the fruit trees and vegetable - filled polytunnels often attacked by the carrot loving rabbits! The cottage is spotlessly clean - very important at this time of Covid and influenza outbreaks. Pets, even dogs are not allowed at this cottage. My favourite things here are the hosts well-behaved labradors who walk well to heel on and off the lead. A special place where I find my peace.

Mrs Cable October 2022
This is a gorgeous cottage with everything you need to relax and escape from it all. The fire is the cherry on top!
Mrs Warren September 2022
We had a tremendous time at Pitt Farm cottage, which was situated in a quiet and secluded area on the edge of Exmoor. The landlord, Rob, was exceptional in his kindness and welcomed us on our arrival.
Our experience: The cottage was immaculately clean inside (helped by having no dogs allowed); the bed was comfortable with high quality cotton sheets and duvet; the bathroom was spotless; the kitchen was modern and fully equipment for any culinary desire; and the living room was well furnished with tasteful high quality comfortable sofas. The outside offers a small private garden with sun loungers and beautiful views of fields with the occasional deer grazing. The cottage is a hidden gem.
Mrs Carter September 2022
A wonderful cottage and location with beautiful views from the back garden. Quality of the cottage is first class and great location for easy access to visits and walking. An outstanding holiday destination.
Dr Bleeze September 2022
Another refreshing escape to a delightful 17th Century cottage in a village that could come from Victor Canning's "Everyman's England" in beautiful countryside along old narrow Drover's Roads. Walking the lovely well behaved dogs is an added bonus. I cannot wait to stay again!
Mrs Hall August 2022
A super holiday in a beautiful cottage set in a very rural & peaceful area of Somerset - great for walking & wildlife. Rob the owner was extremely friendly & helpful - a pleasure to have a chat with. We look forward to a return visit.
Mrs Mitchell July 2022
A much anticipated return visit achieved & throughly enjoyed. Pitt Farm cottage is an absolutely charming & inviting cottage, in which we felt at home in straight away. The layout of the cottage is well thought out and makes for a perfect romantic get away. Outside is a great spot to watch the wild life, including the friendly chickens, funny geese & not forgetting Primrose that may bring you her favourite toy if you’re lucky. Many cups of tea, a few glasses of wine & g&t’s consumed & enjoyed on the terrace too, along with breakfast on several occasions. This is a perfect location for visiting & walking in the beautiful surrounding countryside & moor lands of Exmoor. Thank to Rob, Sarah , family & all the animals for another lovely stay.
Mr Smith July 2022
Peaceful location, comfortable bed, nice fluffy towels. Very friendly and helpful owner.
Mr Gwilliam July 2022
Pitt Farm cottage is a rural gem.It was spotlessly clean and all the appliances and furnishings were beautifully presented. For exploration and walking in beautiful Exmoor it is perfectly located. We felt very welcome and Rob is friendly, helpful and a pleasure to see and chat to.A great break.
Mr Foster June 2022
Over the years ,we have rented a lot of holiday cottages , but taking everything into consideration, location, Pitt farm cottage itself and Rob and Sarah as host's Pitt farm cottage has to be our favourite by far, we consider ourselves very lucky to have found it. When you book a cottage you are never quite sure what your experience of a place is going to be ,but we think we hit the jackpot with Pitt farm, heaven on earth! The worst part of our stay is having to come away, we could live there without any hesitation and will be returning again.
Mr Hancock May 2022
Lovely cosy and comfortable cottage. Outside eating area was a bonus.
Mr Petch May 2022
Everything about this accommodation was perfect for us. Home from home. From a self catering aspect the cottage has everything. Fantastic out door space with the chicken & geese to entertain us and nature all around. As well as the usual bird life we were fortunate to watch Red kites in the dean. Walks from the cottage. Coastal routes a short drive. Local cycle routes for those who enjoy hills but the Tarka trail an hour away at Fremington Quay near Barnstable was flat and scenic. Everything was perfect and the hosts so friendly and accommodating. Perfect stay.
Mr Wells April 2022
As an elderly, but able, couple we found the facilities flawless and the owners' could not have been more helpful in providing local information, the best places to dine and great walks. The furnishings are to a high standard with notably a very comfortable bed and excellent kitchen/utility facilities.
Mr Clements April 2022
You could not identify where the cottage was because there wasn't any sign on the road and we had to ask around from neighbours as to where it was!! When we entered the property there wasn't even a bottle of milk or any kind of welcome pack which in our experience is always present. The kitchen and lounge were very dark because there wasn't any windows apart from a 12"square pane in the front door and the rear door which made it feel as if you were boxed in,. the upper floor was light and bright well furnished. The shower fittings needs attention as they were not secure. The bed was superb.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts on Pitt Farm Cottage. We're very sorry that you had some issues locating the property - we've spoken with the owners, and they apologise that due to your early arrival they hadn't quite had the opportunity to put up the house sign. They also pass on their apologies that the milk was overlooked but confirm that the welcome pack was on the coffee table - we're sorry if you missed it. The lounge has two stable doors and an open gallery and with it being a beautiful 17th century cottage this is part of its natural charm. The owners will look at cutting back some of the climbing rose and jasmine outside of the property to improve the natural light and appreciate your helpful comments and suggestions. They have also checked the shower and are pleased to confirm that it is fitted securely and is designed to move into different positions. We're really sorry if Pitt Farm Cottage didn't quite hit the mark for you but appreciate your lovely comments on the superb bed and how much you enjoyed the light, airy, beautifully furnished upper floor. Dr Diamond April 2022
The building layout and materials used were very good - it was a lovely renovation. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely. The sitting room was dark but there was comfortable seating. The dining table was very small. Fantastic walks through beautiful scenery from the front door.

Thank so much for your lovely review. We're thrilled that you appreciated this stunning, characterful cottage. We appreciate your comments regarding the sitting room, and we're pleased to report that the owners are looking at cutting back some of the climbing rose and jasmine to allow some more light to flood in. The walks from the cottage really are stunning and we're delighted that you enjoyed exploring the beautiful countryside. We hope to welcome you back soon. Julie, Customer Support
Mrs Bergmanski March 2022
The cottage is located in a quiet countryside area which is perfect for walking and exploring. It has been well designed, and when lit, the wood burner makes it all very cosy, the perfect place to spend an evening. We loved it so much we have booked a return visit.
Mr Pickering March 2022
Pitt Farm Cottage is a perfect location if you like peace and quiet in the countryside. From the start to finish the owner Rob was excellent. We had a warm welcome with simple instructions for the cottage, which meant we could get settled in quickly and the log burner was already on, which we really appreciated. We loved meeting the labradors who were all very friendly, well behaved, and loved a good stroke :-) The property was really cosy and had all the mod cons. The shower was amazing, the bed was very comfortable, and there was a lovely outside space overlooking the garden. We had a brilliant week - we did some great walks and it was lovely to come home to the log burner every evening! Highly recommended.
Mr Sims January 2022
The owners were excellent hosts, recommending places to go and restaurants to try.

Once again a very happy time spent on retreat over Christmas and New Year. Too many people are now finding out about this hidden gem! There is nothing that can be faulted! Walking the dogs is the "icing on the cake!" Most welcome is the warmth from the log fire after a brisk and sometimes wet walk in the rain/snow! It is SO quiet especially at night when the constellations are so clearly seen. I return time and time again!

A beautifully cosy but well equipped cottage. Finished to a really high standard - modern bathroom and kitchen which was fully equipped with everything you needed. We cooked most evenings and had all the “stuff” needed to prepare and enjoy our meals. Fabulous log burner and beautiful bedroom - so lovely to lie in bed and look at the stars! Sarah and Rob were the perfect hosts - friendly and knowledge and always there when we needed them for eggs or logs! We were even able to join in Sarah’s yoga class in the village hall! Perfect thank you both so much - what a fabulous find!

Pitt Farm Cottage is lovely, very comfortable, well equipped and set in picturesque surroundings. It is a lovely place to relax and recharge your batteries. Rob is very welcoming and helpful.
The cleanliness of the cottage was exemplary and the additional 'Covid secure' measures taken by the owners to ensure everyone's safety were fantastic.

Mr Charles July 2021
Very nice cottage, well laid out with all that you'd need for a week away. Very peaceful & quiet village, always got a friendly greeting on our walks. Rob & Sarah were great hosts, chatty and very knowledgeable about the local area and further onto Exmoor. Thanks!
Mr Smith June 2021
A lovely location off the beaten track, right on the edge of Exmoor. Peace, quiet and fresh air. Owner very helpful and friendly. Take care with the narrow lanes. Will be back!
Dr Bleeze May 2021
Beautiful happy little cottage - logfire, Exmoor dark skies, healing sleep, early morning mist, peace and quiet - timeless! New life-calves, lambs, three little goslings, rabbits, blue and great tits nesting, the friendly robin, blackbirds singing, local red deer, Exmoor ponies, walks along old Drovers roads with the dogs.....Bluebells, red campion, cow parsley, buttercups, purple and white lavender, primroses, forget-me-nots...Sitting in the wonderful country garden overlooking the valley and hill and woods with families of cows, sheep and the occasional red deer...After this dreadful 14 months I feel refreshed again in this happy healing place.
Mr Tilling December 2020
Just a fantastic place to get away for a while - especially in this Covid year. Very warm and responsive hosts, shared some of their utensils for our cooking and some of their garden vegetables...

A perfect place for 2 to enjoy a relaxing break in very rural Exmoor.
Mr Abrahamsen October 2020
Extremely sociable and friendly owner.
Mrs Pougher September 2020
What a gem of a cottage for getting away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. Waking up to the morning Cockerel and gabling geese, and the little resident Robin singing away. Sitting in the garden, the views are to die for, watching the antics of the chickens and geese. Walking two of the resident dogs ( Ginny and Grace ) across the fields and thru the woods, greeting the local sheep and pheasants ( never seen so many pheasants ). Then feet up in front of a cosy log burning fire with a little tiple. My peace of heaven. The cottage has everything you need like home from home and was spotless. It's very private from the owners, who live next door, Rob and Sarah who were great hosts. Rob very informative of anything you want to know. On arrival we had milk in the fridge and biscuits in the tin. Lovely gesture. Just wish we had stayed for longer. Next time....
Mr Millett August 2020
Excellent cottage everything thing you need for a real get away from the crowds, short drive (approx 6 miles) through the lanes to pubs and restaurants, lovely garden to sit in with views over the valley and Rob the owner is on hand for any help or advice
Mrs McDonald July 2020
Wish we had booked for more than one week. - will return sometime.
Mrs Mitchell July 2020
What a very special place this is. Sarah, Rob & The rest of the Family are so very welcoming, whether they have 2 or 4 legs. This is an absolutely charming cottage & so inviting, we felt at home in straight away. It has been well thought out for a perfect romantic get away. The cottage is cozy yet has a very spacious feel due to the very clever lay out & conversion. The decor & furnishings are very tasteful & everything was immaculately clean. The private terrace was bathed in sunshine & is wonderful for your afternoon cup of tea & evening tipple. This is also a great place to watch the wild life or laugh at the antics of the chickens & geese. And if you like fresh eggs, just ask. If you love walking like we do, I can not think of a better place to stay. Our car didn't leave the farm yard for 2 days as we just walked from the cottage. The location is great for exploring Exmoor. If you are not sure of the best route to take just ask Rob, he is happy to give directions. So pleased we found this Magical hideaway. We didn't want to leave. Thank you to Rob, Sarah & Family for a wonderful stay, we will be back.
Mr Smith January 2020
We have just returned from a five day break at Pitt Farm Cottage.
The cottage is absolutely lovely and immaculate. It is beautifully furnished and finished to a very high standard. We’re not sure we’ve ever stayed anywhere that has been so spotlessly clean and well equipped, and as a special bonus the bed is one of the most comfortable we’ve ever slept in.
Robert is a warm, friendly and very welcoming host who is always on hand to help but at the same time somehow manages to be completely unobtrusive. As we were traveling down to Somerset Robert phoned to make sure that we were able to find the cottage and on arrival he had already lit the log burner, there was milk in the fridge, and some lovely biscuits in a tin all ready for us to make our first cup of tea and get settled in.
Despite the January weather the cottage was always snug and very welcoming after a day out in the fresh air.
We have stayed in many houses and cottages over the years but Pitt Farm Cottage is up there with the very best.
Many thanks to Robert and his family for making our short break so relaxing, we are both looking forward to visiting again later in the year when the weather will hopefully allow us to sit in the garden and enjoy the lovely views.
Vanessa and Peter Smith. Stamford, Lincolnshire.

Miss Ansell January 2020
The cottage was idyllic. Such a fantastic way to escape the stresses of life. The owners could not have been more helpful and nothing was too much trouble. I would love to return some time. Thank you for a truly lovely break. There is nothing I would have changed, especially having the chance to walk the dogs.
Dr Bleeze December 2019
Yet again, I had a wonderful stay at Pitt Farm Cottage. It is an ideal "retreat," very private, away from the stresses and strains of 21st century life, especially at Christmas which can be very commercial and frenetic.
In this beautifully renovated and tastefully decorated old cottage, nestling in Skilgate Valley, with complete privacy apart from the sheep, geese, cows, deer and birds including the resident robin, I could look over timeless fields and woods - and imagine the life of the farmers that had lived there before.
This little cottage is a very contented and special place, warm and cosy downstairs in the evenings with the wood burning fire, yet during the day light, airy and sunny in the reading area upstairs next to the sleeping area which has a very comfortable brass bed! Everything is SO clean with the fragrant sheets and white and very fluffy towels.
A delightful place to stay and explore the local area - especially the Saxon church with its heavenly bells - the nicest I have ever heard. The locals in Skilgate and the surrounding towns - especially Dulverton, are very friendly and despite the narrow roads the local drivers are kind and "give way."
The hosts were very kind, caring but unobtrusive and provided me with a little Christmas tree and other decorations! They also invited me to their New Year's Eve Skilgate Village party which was great fun - I met some very interesting people!
Unfortunately, from my previous visits, one of the dogs, Flo and the resident old sheep Mrs Ewe have passed on but there were still 6 dogs to chose from to walk. I had been concerned they may wander off and get lost but they took ME out for a walk, never leaving ME out of their sight, waiting FOR ME and returning IMMEDIATELY I called. Well trained, disciplined and delightful dogs - all such different characters. :- Pippa the wise Matriarch, gentle Grace the bringer of gifts, sweet kind smiling Ginny, macho Charlie Brown, naughty Ruby and disco-dancing Primrose - she can sure "shake her booty!"
I cannot wait to return, especially in the summer. Yet I don't want too many people to know about Pitt Farm Cottage - it is my ideal winter retreat!

This cottage was so clean, comfortable and in a beautiful location. Rob was so friendly and welcoming, but never intrusive. Sitting outside listening to the wild birds and not so wild chickens and geese was perfect, as was being welcomed every day by Rob's perfectly behaved dogs! The week just flew by, we really enjoyed our stay.

Herr Henseler May 2019
A beautifull, clean cottage . The owner is very friendly and helpfuly. We enjoyed quitness and the birds twitter and liked it very much to take a walk with the owners labradors.
Mrs Marshall May 2019
What can I say, we didn't want to leave! This cottage was built with love, attention to detail and with great craftsmanship. The setting is just spectacular. Drinking wine looking out onto the patchwork fields of cows and watching the geese waddle by us with their chicks. Rob and Sarah made us very welcome and I really enjoyed my yoga class with Sarah in the village hall.

The hospitality we received on our arrival was brilliant. The cottage itself far exceeded any expectations, it's cleanliness, it's comfort & cosiness couldn't be faulted. The garden is a little suntrap with beautiful views which we were very lucky to enjoy in some early October sunshine. Excellent!

We had a lovely stay in Pitt Farm Cottage although too short at only three nights. Rob made us very welcome on arrival and showed us around the cottage which is absolutely delightful. The cottage is furnished beautifully and to a high standard, nice and warm and is spotlessly clean. It is also deceptively spacious for two people. We would like to return and explore Exmoor in the near future and would highly recommend to all.

Fantastic property for a couple wishing to enjoy and explore the Exmoor area. Owners could not have been more helpful with suggestions for days out and local shopping etc. The garden at the rear of the property is very well equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs and receives sunlight for most of the day. All you need is the weather!!!

Rob and family, including the wonderful labradors, were extremely welcoming and ensured that we had an excellent holiday in Somerset and Devon. The cottage was perfect for two, very well equipped, and the garden terrace was fantastic for breakfast, a late afternoon aperitif, an al fresco dinner, or to just relax and enjoy the beautiful view of the nearby hill and its enchanting wood. We'd return in a heartbeat.

Landlord Rob, extremely helpful, with great knowledge of the area which was very useful to us on our daily excursions.
Love all the dogs, so friendly and not at all intimidating. Just happy to say hello and get as much attention that they could.
It is a gem of a place hidden away down old drover roads which are littered with wild flowers in the Spring, really enchanting.

Mr Munns March 2016
Pitt Farm is a delightful cottage in a rural setting. The Farm owners are very friendly and helpful. The cottage is well set up for self catering, cosy bed, nice log fire, lovely decor and lovely countryside. For us from Australia, the land of open spaces, it was a little challenging to have every road into the little village of Skilgate along really narrow lanes. Jen
Mrs Mathias February 2016
A beautiful cottage for two. Very spacious but also cosy and warm, especially with the wood stove which was lit for our arrival. A great place to retreat from the Winter storms. Excellently presented with lovely furnishings and perfectly clean. Rob is an excellent host and very welcoming. We hope to visit again soon.
Mr Adams January 2016
Absolutely beautiful cottage recently converted to an extremely high standard, with every detail thought about so well to meet all your possible needs. Set in a very peaceful location, it was such a relaxing break. Received a lovely, informative welcome from Rob, the owner, who lives on site and was available if we needed anything over the weekend. Arrived on a cold, wet day in January to find the cottage so cozy with the woodburner already lit, and homemade lemon cake to have with our tea. Had a fabulous weekend, cannot recommend the cottage highly enough and we'll be back!
Mr Saunders December 2015
What made the stay all the more special is the level of detail the owner has put into the property. For such an old property it has been updated very sympathetically, into a very comfortable cottage. So grateful to have had the opportunity to utilise it.
