Mrs Smith October 2018
Lovely little cottage, owners have tried to think of everything if you bring dogs. Dog bath very useful indeed, as was the enclosed garden. Plenty of good walks and handy pub close by. Homemade cakes on arrival very welcome. Would stay again.
Dr Wardle July 2018
The ideal holiday cottage for a couple with dog (s) who enjoy countryside & walking.
Mr Topliss June 2018
Lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings. Quiet location. Near to coastal path and spectacular scenery. Doggy bath in porch very handy.
Ms Alderton May 2018
We had a wonderful stay at Little Gurnards and if anything the property was better than in the pictures. The scones on arrival were a nice touch and we found the property to be very spacious for two people and a Lurcher.
Ms Perry April 2018
I loved the location - so peaceful and so dog-friendly, Dawn has thought of everything from the dog shower, heated towel rail and bowl of water on arrival. There is a lovely 20 minute walk on the doorstep for morning and evening dog walks as well as fantastic coastal walks from the door. The little conservatory at the back of the house was a peaceful place to sit in the mornings or in the evenings after a long day exploring. It was a real escape for me and my curious spaniel.
Mr Sully March 2018
Had a really relaxing time. Cottage had everything you could need. Weather was rather wet, wild and windy but the cottage was warm and cosy. Floss our dog enjoyed her first holiday away with us, plenty of long walks the cottage being ideal for a dog. We would thoroughly recommend it.
Miss Scillitoe March 2018
Wonderful cottage, very cosy and comfortable. The dog shower in the front porch is inspired! No more having to worry about a muddy or sandy pooch! The owner Dawn is lovely, highly recommended cottage.
Mr Moon February 2018
This is a gorgeous little cottage in a superb location, right on the South West coastpath. A real benefit is that although it is in a quiet spot, there is a good pub/restaurant on the doorstep. The cottage had a cosy feel and was great for a winter break, but would be good at any time of year. The enclosed garden made it perfect for our pooch and the dog shower with hot and cold feed was a definite bonus. We would definitely recommend Little Gurnards and would love to stay again.
Mr Garner December 2017
The cottage was really well equipped and despite the weather we had was always warm and a pleasure to return to after a wet and windy day out. We would recommend this cottage to anyone for any time if the year.
Mrs Hurst November 2017
Lovely cosy cottage, so very welcoming of dogs and in a perfect location. We would very happily go back!
Miss Gray November 2017
Indoor dog shower with hot and cold water AND heated towel rail, this was luxury for man and his best friend. With the lovely enclosed garden and conservatory these three features set 'Little Gurnards' apart from ALL other cottages for us. Comfortable bed, which is always a relief as with the well equipped Kitchen. Let's not forget Dawns cream tea and a carton of milk on our arrival, that's a lovely touch and much appreciated.
Miss Caley October 2017
Perfect holiday cottage for us and the dog!
Ms Barnes August 2017
An easy transaction, a lovely cottage and a very tired dog after all the walks!
Mrs Goodenough May 2017
Idilic location. Cottage in perfect condition throughout. Fantastic sea view. 2 local pubs could not be any better.
Ms Collins April 2017
We had a lovely holiday at Little Gurnards, with our two dogs (the owner very graciously allowed us to bring our 5 month old pup). The weather was fabulous, so we had no opportunity to try out the doggy shower, but the idea itself is ingenious. The cottage was perfect, with more than enough room for us and the dogs. The little sun room was a definite bonus. The location is perfect for coastal walking, which was the point of our holiday; and the owner had left us a scrumptious cream tea which went down a treat! What more could you ask for.
Mr Howlett April 2017
This is just a wonderful property. If you want to be away from ths hussle and bussle of the "tourist" areas, this is the perfect place. The photos dont do it justice. Very warm and cosy with everything you could possibly need. And its right next to some fabulous walks and beaches are close by. Cant wait to come back.
Mrs Bell December 2016
This cottage is a real gem, in a lovely location and fitted with all the mod-cons. We really enjoyed being so close to the coast path and Gurnard's Head was definitely worth a walk all the way out to the point. We only had one day of rain and even then it was lovely to sit inside with the fire and comfortable sofas. We would definitely return, and would recommend to anyone. Monty the Collie loved his stay too!
Mr King September 2016
A well positioned, well presented and equipped snug cottage. Really dog friendly. We loved the sunny conservatory and the view of the sea and Gurnards Head from the shower! Would love to return.
Mr Nicholls August 2016
Beautiful cottage in a beautiful location owned by a very lovely lady who can't do enough for you! Welcomed with a cream tea and sunshine! Thank you!
Mr Milchem July 2016
A delightful cottage in a wonderful location. Great views and walks and perfect for the dog. We were made very welcome and a lovely cream tea had been kindly prepared for us. The Gurnards Head pub is just 100 yards or so away and serves fine food with a super choice of wines and ales. We will definitely choose to stay there again.
Mrs Burgess May 2016
The cottage is very cosy and comfortable. It is a perfect place to stay with dogs and is very handy for the coastal path. There are lovely walks on the doorstep. It is an ideal base foe exploring this area of Cornwall.
Mr Wormleighton May 2016
Had a brilliant week, very comfortable and ideal for dogs. Pub next door is a bonus with great beer and food. Only 500 yards from the sea and incredible views. We will be returning.
Mrs Simpson April 2016
Lovely welcome from Dawn, the owner - and home made cakes on arrival! The cottage enjoys a lovely position with easy access to walks, beaches and local attractions. All information is accurate and we found it just as expected. We had a lovely weekend and will definitely return.
Mrs Robertson February 2016
We had a fantastic short break. The cottage was like a home from home. Very clean and well equipped. Perfectly located for walking and very doggy friendly. It is always hard for us to find a place that let's 2 big dogs stay but they were welcomed with open arms here.
Mrs Perks December 2015
This was an absolutely lovely cottage to stay in. We were there over Christmas and New Years with our 2 dogs and it was a true little getaway with the South West Coast Path on your doorstep and an excellent pub a 2 minute stroll from the house. You are not very far from St Ives and all the other far west Cornwall towns. After a muddy walk there is a dog shower in the porch which worked a treat for us and I want one of these in our own house. We met the owner a couple times and she is very friendly and helped us to get the heating nice and warm for me. The open fire was a nice treat to end a cold winter day with and there were 2 very comfy sofas to lounge around on. The garden was a perfect size to let the dogs out in the morning and evening before their walks and fully secure.
Mrs Hope November 2015
well equipped little cottage, super for dogs and walking with stunning views right on the doorstep.
Mrs Wood October 2015
A lovely, cosy cottage with all the amenities you could need.
Mr Francis September 2015
Best holiday in the UK - ever ! It is rare to find everything to your liking in a cottage you have booked , but Little Gurnards ticked every box.
Mrs Hodgkinson July 2015
Fantastic location - very comfortable and well equipped cottage and exceptionally dog-friendly. We felt 'at home' straight away and wished we could have stayed longer.
