loved our second experience here
Mrs Beard April 2023
We loved Guinevere and felt it was very comfortable and spacious with everything you could think of. It was lovely to be able to sit outside when it was sunny and watch the harbour activity. The access to the coast path was just behind so it was very easy to take our dog for his walk. The road down to it is fine and a really nice walk up to the shops and village, although parking outside could be tight if you have a big car. We chose it to be easy for our 93 year old dad and it was nice inside but he felt the hard floors were a bit slippy. The access outside could be slightly awkward as it has a small gravel slope to the car so it was hard for his trolley wheels. Overall it was a great place to stay and we would love to stay there again.

This was our third visit to Guinevere over the last 3 summers. It is a very beautiful property in a stunning location. Unfortunately the property, while superficially clean, was really “deep down” dirty and there were a significant number of property maintenance problems. The property also needs redecorating. The experience was stressful which affected our enjoyment of our holiday. We had to call the Hotel on multiple occasions to clean specific areas and to repair the maintenance issues. The staff were very helpful, quick to respond and all were very pleasant and friendly, though I suspect they are short staffed.

We are sorry that Guinevere wasn't quite as expected on this visit but are glad that you let the hotel know of your feedback so that they could assist at the time. We hope to welcome you back for a 4th visit or to another Classic Cottage. Sarah, Customer Support

Thanks so much for your review; we're so pleased that you had a comfortable stay. However, we're sorry to hear that you found an unpleasant smell in one of the bedrooms - we've spoken to the hotel and have asked them to investigate the cause of this and to take a look at the settee and carpets in the property. We're very grateful for you bringing these points to our attention and hope we'll be able to welcome you back to Cornwall in the future. Tressa, Customer Support

we loved the situation right on the quay and thought the apartment was very tastefully furnished.

Lying in bed watching the waves … perfect! A well equipped luxury set up.
Mrs Dewsbury October 2015
We spent four days here and really enjoyed our stay. It is a lovely location and well furnished and comfortable. If you need phone signal it didn't have any and only one IPad worked with the WIFI connection. Great views through the windows. We visited the seal sanctuary, St Ives, Lizard Point, did coastal walks and Poldhu cove just up the road was spectacular late afternoon. Would definitely recommend.

Thanks so much for your review - it's great that you enjoyed your time in Mullion. Mobile phone signal can be patchy in some areas of Cornwall, but there is phone within the apartment that has a direct line to the Mullion Cove Hotel, staffed 24 hours a day in case of any problems or queries. There is usually a phone signal if you climb to the top of the hill - you can always reward the effort with a cream tea at the hotel afterwards! Tanya, Customer Support
