Attractive and well decorated accommodation very hand for Truro. Flight of stairs to reach it so perhaps not for those with dodgy legs . Lovely rural setting…would visit again.

A very relaxing place to stay. Good location for getting out and about. Spotlessly clean. Cannot wait to book again.

My wife and I (and our 3 dogs) had a lovely stay at the Pavilion. The property and surroundings were lovely, with really excellent views. We were welcomed with tea, freshly baked scones with cream and jam in the property which was a really nice touch by the owners. It was a really nice stay, and although it’s quite secluded we were only a short drive into the town and it was an excellent base for visiting other hotspots in Cornwall. We would definitely recommend.

I've stayed in several holiday cottages in the UK over the years, and have to confess to being quite picky! The Pavilion is a lovely property, in a beautiful and peaceful location and yet only a 5 minute drive from Truro. It's luxurious, comfortable and welcoming, with all the fittings and equipment you could wish for. I would definitely recommend it.

Thank you so much for your lovely comments - we are so glad to read that you enjoyed The Pavilion. It sounds as if you found your very own 'home from home' and we hope to welcome you back again in the future. Sarah, Customer Support

Definitely will be booking the pavillion again

Lovely flowers and a cream tea welcome. Greg and Sally are very friendly and informative hosts without being intrusive. The property has everything thing you need and a lovely wood burning stove with plenty of logs. The bed was super comfy and the shower was great. Weather wasn’t kind so unable to enjoy the lovely outside space but then it was in October.

Perfect host, wonderful property and excellent location for exploring the west side of Cornwall. A happy customer.

A wonderfully tranquil location - while near popular holiday destinations. The farmland and stabled horses nearby add to the character. Sally and Greg are really helpful hosts too.

Great location Peaceful and quite but not remote Excellent wet room High quality furnishings Well equipped kitchen

Amazing stay, great for couples who want a relaxing break away in Cornwall. Amazing host who is very approachable to ask about things to do. Had one of our best holidays there.

Thoroughly recommended, in a fantastic location, a really lovely place to spend a relaxing holiday.

Great place to stay, excellent location. Lovely property, with great views, and very comfortable too!

This was our first time staying in a Classic Cottages property and it exceeded our expectations. Our hosts were so welcoming, the Pavillion was well equipped, catered to all our needs for self catering and remote working, and we thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful location and sunny sheltered deck. We had a wonderful stay here.

We really enjoyed our stay at The Pavilion, it was perfect for us and our dog. The living space is great and the view from the bifold doors in the lounge with the horses and the sheep relaxing to see. The location is very good, you can visit many places in very little time. We would not hesitate to recommend and would like to visit again in the future.

We had an excellent stay, the property is warm even without any heating or fire on which was amazing. Loved watching the resident horses in the fields and having cuddles with Pumpkin the cat.

If you are looking for a comfy retreat, just for two people, then you really should give the Pavilion a try. A quiet and secluded spot it may be, but its well located to explore Cornwall.

A very nice, well furnished, comfortable and warm cottage in a farm location with wonderful views over fields. If we go back to this part of Cornwall we would be happy to stay again.

Had the most amazing holiday. Accommodation was absolutely beautiful so peaceful and quiet. Everything you could ask for. Definitely home from home and will definitely be booking for 2020. Owners were so lovely and left scones, jan, cream and tea so welcoming.

We had a wonderful stay at The Pavilion! It was very homely, with great facilities. We loved having the bifold doors open, it really extended the living place. The outside space was completely secure meaning our dog could wonder in and out as he pleased. The hosts were very nice and available if you need anything, but not intrusive. The Pavilion is in a great location for visiting lots of different places including Portscatho, Falmouth, St Mawes, St Ives, and Lizard Point if you don’t mind travelling a bit further! We thoroughly recommend staying at The Pavilion!

We have stayed at many excellent Classic Cottages, but this was by far the best. There is not one thing you could want for, everything has been catered for. The fixtures and fittings are of top quality and you can tell it has been given so much thought to make sure your holiday is fantastic. To look out of the bi-fold doors, every morning onto the beautiful field, with the horses and sheep is so calming. The best weeks sleep we have ever had, we loved watching the stars through the sky light, truly amazing. Sally and Greg greeted us and made us very welcome, the cornish cream tea was wonderful after such a long journey. The village of Shortlanesend is an ideal spot for touring all of Cornwall. Thank you for giving us the opportunity to stay in The Pavillion, we will be back, and have recommended to family and friends.

We had a delight relaxing week at The Pavilion, the patio faced west so sitting in the sun trap was glories. The gate is only 2' high so to our surprise, on the last evening our large dog jumped over in it in pursuit of Pumpkin, the dog aware cat, who disappeared promptly into the barn. Wifi and shower were very good and the whole accommodation worked perfectly for two persons. It was well stocked and fresh scones a delight.

We just spent a fantastic week at The Pavilion. A wonderfully cosy, modern, property that exceeded expectation. Real quality furnishings and equipment provided, and the wood burner is fabulous. The location of The Pavilion is peaceful and has a feeling of being away from it all, whilst being only a 10 min drive into Truro, which has all the amenities and supermarkets that anyone might need. The owners, Sally and Greg are really friendly and helpful, and can advise on activities and places to visit. Highlights for us: walking the Lizard peninsula, and visiting Perranporth, and St.Ives. Lovely touch of a cream tea waiting for us on arrival day. Very dog friendly. Perfect in every way.

We went for Christmas and the new year but I think that the Pavilion would be an absolute delight in the spring /summer. Such a pretty location

As we had our dog with us, the ability to let him run in the field was a very welcome bonus. Walking him around the nearby lanes was easy and almost traffic free.

The location of The Pavilion is within easy reach of so many attractions, even Land's End is within a reasonable distance.

Last but certainly not least, the owners could not have been more helpful.

Really appreciated the location with lots of attractions within easy travelling. Furnished to a high standard. Warm and cosy. Although weather went cool did not have to use the wood stove. Good WiFi service.

Second holiday to the Pavilion and we just love it. Sally and Greg are excellent hosts and always make you feel very welcome . The accommodation is very comfortable and spotless, has everything you need. Fantastic base for getting out and about in Cornwall.

A quiet relaxing get away in a central location.

Ideal for a couple, good location for visiting all parts of Cornwall make sure you go in the daylight would be difficult to find in the dark

You will not be disappointed when you stay at the pavilion. This holiday cottage will truly make your holiday be one to remember.

This is a fantastic property in a rural location yet close to City of Truro. Lots of walks close by and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The barn is homely, clean and modern and we have had a wonderful and enjoyable stay.

We’ve stayed in cottages for the last two to three years all through classic this is by far the pick of the bunch location perfect cottage fixture and fittings are of a high standard hosts were really nice couldn’t ask for more will be back again soon

Loved out stay !

We really liked the set up and decor which added to the tranquil feel of the property and made such a pleasant change to the hustle bustle of city life. The fresh flowers and cream tea that greeted us helped us feel most welcome and right at home.

The property is set up so well and ideal for a lovely base to explore the wonders of Cornwall.

A superb location, just a few minutes out of Thuro which has a real good mix of independent shops as well as some well known retail chains and a fabulous museum and cafe.

To the North is access to the main A30 with easy journeys to the North Coast towns of St Agnes, Wadebridge/Padstow and St Ives. We would recommend for food to walk around the corner to Penrose Kitchen (Probably the Best Sunday Roast ever ! ). Also the Hawkins Arms at Zelah does some lovely Pub food along with a fine welcome.

Many thanks to Greg and Sally our pleasant hosts for helping make our holiday so memorable !

Callum & Irene Whitelaw

Very comfortable and fixtures and fittings to a very high standard. We would re-visit.

Lovely home from home cottage in cornwall. After driving 4 1/2 hours it was lovely to walk into a cream tea all set up on the table with fresh flowers. Lovely cottage & very welcoming owners. Will definitely be returning without a doubt! Thank you for making our holiday the best one yet

Laura, amy & Nando (the pug)

Had an excellent stay the owners were very welcoming, chatty, and helpful. Would revisit this property with no hesitation first class accommodation for a very affordable price and have already recommended to friends. We loved it and very suitable for our little dog. Oh and the bed was to die for

The accommodation is spacious for two, and very comfortable. Everything has been thought of and it is a very easy base for a holiday.

Great cottage, plenty of room for 2 and our dog!

Excellent stay; great location with easy access to both north and South coasts. Cottage perfect size for 2 with all necessary facilities. Easy access to outside space and field for our slightly aging canine companion; unfortunately he overexerted himself on the local beaches and we had to cut our holiday short by a day; but thankfully now fully recovered.

Greg and Sally perfect hosts; friendly, helpful and there when you needed them (see above doggy drama) but otherwise unobtrusive.

Our holiday accomodation is very clean and everything has been thought of. Lots to watch on the fields behind the cottage. Very peaceful but not too far from Truro.

Top notch all round, an excellent property and location.

Ideal property for two. Ticks all the boxes. Delightful setting. Ideal position for visiting all Cornwall. Secluded yet only two minutes drive off the main road to Truro. Fixtures and fittings of a very high standard.

Fabulous cottage furnished to a very high standard with everything you need for your stay. There are lovely views from all the windows and light streams into the property. Great location which is quiet and feels like you are in the middle of nowhere and yet you are only 2 miles from Truro. It is also in a great area to walk the dogs in the lanes and has walking from the door. The owners were extremely helpful and friendly making us feel very welcome. We would highly recommend this cottage as it is beautiful and in a great central location and not too far from any part of Cornwall. We hope to return next year!

Fabulous. We had a lovely Christmas break here. Owners welcoming, friendly and helpful. Great spot for exploring Poldark settings. Truro very close for shopping but rural setting with horses in field behind. Great wood stove although the property does not really need one as well insulated. Truro cathedral worth a visit. Some great restaurants within easy driving distance. Would most definitely come back. We absolutely loved it!

The property was absolutely immaculate and so cosy and comfortable. It was extremely well stocked and owners were so welcoming. We shall definatley be returning.

This is our 2nd holiday we have taken using Classic Cottages. The Pavillion was exactly as described. A lovely quiet setting to recharge our batteries. Would definitely come back again. Thank you.

Beautiful secluded location ideally placed for visiting both North and South Coast.

Very lovely cottage, spacious for two people, comfy bed, well equipped. Handy for both coasts. Owners very friendly, helpful. Would not hesitate to book again, and recommend to friends and family.

The Pavilion is a beautiful building, so comfortable, interesting and private. We loved our stay there, as did our dogs, and we will definitely come back.

Hearty welcome, roses on the table, tea and pastries, local specialities in the fridge... fantastic situation! We were with 2 dogs, they could let off steam in the wonderful area. The beach is 10 minutes away, where dogs are also permitted.

Very light and airy cottage that is exceptionally well-equipped.

Wonderful location just 15 minutes from North and South coasts. Friendly, helpful hosts. Beautifully clean and equipped. Quiet location 5 minutes walk down leafy lane to Lily Tearooms where wonderful food await.

This cottage and the owners deserve praise.
