Lovely comfy cottage in a peaceful setting. Garden beautiful and very dog proof. Some comfortable out seats would have been good. We enjoyed our stay a lot.
Mrs Ripsher June 2022
A lovely comfortable cottage with easy access to many outstanding areas of north Cornwall. Highly recommended.
Mrs Griffiths May 2022
A lovely property to enjoy a relaxing holiday away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
Mrs Eynon April 2022
We loved our short break at May's Cottage: it was warm, clean and comfortable, very well located and also tranquil: an elegant small house rather than a cottage.
We would definitely book again and are converts to Classic Cottages, having been disappointed with other booking agencies in the past. Keep up the high standards, they are very much appreciated by weary people needing a trouble-free, relaxing break in beautiful surroundings.

Mr Carney April 2022
We had a lovely week at May’s Cottage, a fabulous location and gorgeous garden. We had log fires every night and enjoyed the vast beaches during the day. The Kew Inn nearby is excellent ( booking is advisable)
Ms Militello February 2022
Lovely cottage in a very quite location. Perfect for relaxing. Shame the garden is not fully fenced and dogs can escape easily. Not ideal to have to keep the dogs on the lead every time they need to go outside for their business. Overall we had a pleasant stay at Mays cottage despite the awful weather, but we enjoyed the open fire more I guess.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts on Mays Cottage; it sounds like the roaring fire was most welcome in the storms. We really appreciate you letting us know about the garden area. The property is bordered by beautiful shrubs and hedges, but we'll defintely pass your helpful comments on to the owners. We hope that we can welcome you back soon. Julie, Customer Support

Mrs Dodds June 2021
I can’t fault May’s Cottage. It was a perfect base for us as our son was married just two minutes walk away! It had everything we needed, and was very comfortable and clean. Thank you so much!
Mr Buss October 2019
A lovely warm cottage that we all enjoyed spending a relaxing week in.
Mr Chapman September 2019
Cottage in a lovely location, and generally comfortable and well equipped. It should also be mentioned in the description that the garden isn't entirely safely enclosed for a dog. We used the garden furniture to create barriers at each side of the house to prevent our dog from accessing the front garden from where he would have been able to escape.

We're delighted that you enjoyed your stay at the cottage, it really is in a great spot. We're sorry to hear that the garden wasn't entirely escape-proof for your four-legged friend - there are hedges and shrubs all the way around the perimeter and a gate to the front, but we've asked the housekeeper to investigate any areas where the boundary could be improved. Thanks so much for letting us know. Emma, Customer Support

My family and I wanted a quiet and peaceful getaway . At Mays cottage we found the perfect location for all our needs. Thank you for a fabulous holiday.

Mrs Rowland July 2016
What a fabulous cottage, a real ' home from home' - everything you could possibly need in a fabulous location. Near to some excellent beaches for surfing and dog walking and to some superb pubs. The service I received from Classic cottages was excellent throughout the booking process. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend both Mays cottage and Classic cottages to friends and am already looking forward to booking our holiday next year.
Mrs Derry July 2016
A comfortable well-equipped cottage in a fantastic quiet location - just the sound of sheep and the occasional car. A delightful, private and well-kept garden to sit out in and a useful conservatory for when the weather is cooler. We had a terrible journey down and arrived at 10 p.m. rather than the planned 8 p.m. Having texted the Housekeeper to let her know of this change the lights had been left on in the cottage which, given its remote location, we were grateful for. The cake which had been left for us was also very welcome. I would recommend this cottage to anyone for whom peace and quiet is important when they go on holiday. Additionally I would also like to mention Trevathan Farm Shop and Restaurant which is just along the road and very convenient for the cottage. It is excellent for breakfast, morning coffee, lunch or tea. There is space for children to run around and they also have a farm shop with lovely fresh produce and gifts.
Mrs Burgess June 2016
Lovely property - I am sure we will return. Very close to dog friendly beaches and Padstow, Wadebridge etc.
