We stayed at the Tabernacle for a few days of relaxation after our wedding. It was exceptional and everything we could have asked for. Even when the weather wasn't great the Tabernacle was warm, cosy and incredibly comfortable with easy access to all sorts of lovely places to visit, beautiful walks and wonderful food.

My husband surprised me for a wonderful weekend away. One of the best times we had. Didn't need to leave the tabernacle as everything we needed was there.

Lovely stay in the Tabernacle - really enjoyed sightseeing in the local area and having a wonderful retreat in the Tabernacle. We enjoyed stargazing in the hot tub in the cold November evenings. Would love to come back - we'll book when it's warmer!!

Tabernacle was beautiful and luxurious as well as quaint and cosy. Wonderful and welcoming host. Very peaceful and private countryside spot yet only a short drive to many local attractions. Walking distance of 2 nice pubs. Loved the wood fired hot tub, a glass of fizz and watching the owls. A lovely spot to escape too.

An amazingly blissful, cosy and enjoyable stay. Will be back.

Loved listening to the owls while relaxing in the hot tub late at night.

We liked everything about this place, it was just lovely throughout. The hot-tub is fabulous. Just what you need after a good days walking. Location couldn't be better for us. Pubs nearby which have excellent food. High quality fittings and furnishings. The owner (Kate) was very very welcoming and friendly. We wer so pleased with the Tabernacle it felt like we didn't stop smiling from the start of our stay till we left. Wonderful holiday.

Beautifully decorated. Comfortable bed. Secluded. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Couldn't have asked for a nicer host.
