Atlas Cottage is such a beautiful stone cottage in the heart of the charming town of Buckfastleigh.
Bedroom 3 on the second floor is gorgeous, and has a TV making those lazy mornings in bed even more appealing.
The living-room offers a cosy area to cuddle up after an action-packed day.
Atlas Cottage has a little sitting-out area in the mews, occasionally the neighbours use the mews for their personal use.
Bedroom 1 is so inviting. Located on the first floor this is the first double you encounter.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you may need.
What a cute and cosy dining space.
The glowing woodburner perfects the atmosphere.
The steps to the first floor lead off from the corner of the living-room.
The twin room on the first floor is a really lovely room for young or old.
The family bathroom is light and airy. Perfect for washing the days adventures away.
The stairs are quite steep; however hand rails are provided to help. These steps lead from the first-floor landing to the second floor bedroom.
The top floor landing.
Downstairs WC.
The mews street, Atlas Cottage is not shown, it is on the left at the entrance to the mews. The sitting-out area is down here on the right.
The front door is a rather grand entrance.

Sadly the bed linen had not been changed and floors not vacuumed. Toenails on the carpet in one room and chips all over the floor under the kitchen table. Aside from the lack of cleaning, a lovely cottage and with good access to South East Devon.

We're so sorry to hear that there were issues with the housekeeping on your arrival - the owner was shocked and incredibly sorry when we let her know as she values cleanliness very highly in the cottage. As a consequence, a new housekeeper has been appointed. Please accept both our apologies and those of the owner for this very unusual situation. Tanya, Customer Support

We had a wonderful holiday there and would not hesitate to return for another break. Thank you for a great time.

A lovely cottage, but not for the tall, or those who want early nights! Great location near Dartmoor and not far from the south Devon coast.

Beautifully presented cottage , a great relaxing break

Very homely and surprisingly spacious for a compact cottage. Vey well equipped and presented.

A beautifully furnished cottage with great attention to detail. The open fire is great to come back to after a day out. We loved the top bedroom. Buckfastleigh is in a good postion for visiting Dartmoor or further afield.

The fresh milk and cake provided was a thoughtful touch.

The cottage was excellent and as described - the bedrooms were spacious and beautifully decorated. The cottage married the original period features with a well appointed kitchen allowing it to be a true holiday - dishwasher; washer and tumble dryer essentials if you don't want to "camp". The log fire was a lovely giving a cosy feel in the evening after a full day out and about. The digital radio was the icing on the cake a true home from home for us.
