The cottage at Penvores is a lovely old stone cottage on a working farm.
Depending on the time of year and whether the sheep are lambing, you may see some of the little lambs getting lunch or waiting in line for their turn and there are also some pigs on the way too!
There are always the lovely sheep but sometimes lambs too bouncing around the field!

This is a fantastic place if you are happy getting away from everything. It's a lovely secluded farm with the most welcoming owners, their lovely dogs and farm animals.

The cottage was perfect, very comfortable with everything we could have needed for our holiday.

The location is great, very quiet but within a short drive of Mullion, Poldhu Cove and Helston. Can't wait to stay again.

August 2016

Beautifully located property with genuinely lovely on-sight hosts. Fully equipped and well laid out a proper home from home within easy reach of both tourist attractions, coastal paths, beaches and pubs.

March 2016

Penvores is the perfect place to stay with a family. The children loved all the animals and the hosts made us feel very welcome. The cottage itself is very clean and has everything you need. The children loved the fact that it is an upside down house! The welcome cream tea was delicious and started our stay off perfectly. I would highly recommend staying and Penvores and exploring the amazing countryside and coast.

Always a great welcome from Mr. & Mrs. Russell at Penvores. The position of this holiday let is within easy reach of so many beautiful locations. Ample parking and peaceful surroundings. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend this cottage to friends and family.

July 2015

Maureen and John are extraordinary friendly, polite and helpful hosts. All the three weeks they provided us with fresh vegetables und fruit out of their garden. Advices for events, food providers and superb inns were very helpful. All the animals on the farm (chicken, shepherddogs, pigs and sheep) are in good condition as they are well cared for. Those who want calmness, direct connection with nature and possibilities to go for walks or to the seaside, do not miss anything at Penvores. The whole farm is tidy and in best condition.

July 2015

The cottage was in beautiful, very peaceful surroundings, which after visits to crowded Penzance and St Michaels Mount was wonderful to come home to at the end of the day. Everything you could possibly need on your holiday was provided. The central heating even came on in the evening and early morning to deal with the rather changeable Cornish temperatures! Hosts, Mo and John, could not have been more welcoming, but always in a relaxed, non intrusive way.
