We really enjoyed our stay in this cottage. Plenty of space and a great location.
Mr Negus October 2021
Excellent cottage, excellent location.
Mrs Blake August 2021
Great location, only 5 minutes walk to shops and restaurants. Large and spacious. Parking is up the hill in main car park, but we were able to unload outside. The cottage is next to the church and bells rang all night long (every 15 minutes) which did keep us awake. Cottage is lovely, spacious and clean though, great for a few days in Fowey!
Mrs Parnell August 2021
We would definitely recommend this beautiful cottage and location. Surrounded by the harbour and little town with unusual shops and good food.Easy to get to the beaches around. A little haven.
Mrs Hodgson July 2021
Beautiful and spacious property just a stroll away from all the gorgeous amenities Fowey has to offer. The stairs from the kitchen and the space at the top of the landing are quite narrow but this was not a problem for us and our two teenage daughters- it does match the description on the website. Fowey is a stunning place with lots to do, fabulous places to eat and a friendly feel. We were so pleased with the location and would definitely book this property again- in our opinion the best position in the town to access all it has to offer.
Ms Finden-Crofts June 2021
This is a beautifully decorated cottage right in the heart of lovely Fowey, close to all the amazing restaurants and cafes. A family with 3 teenage kids might struggle only having one small bathroom but for my family (2 kids aged 7 & 10) it was perfect. The kitchen is much bigger than I expected so you can cook in comfort if you don't want to eat out.

Mrs Randall April 2021
This cottage is in the perfect location to enjoy a stay in the lovely little town of Fowey. It couldn’t be closer to the restaurants, lovely gift shops and harbour. We enjoyed a walk to the beach and a ferry over to Polruan for a walk along the stunning coastline.

We had a wonderful stay at the Salt Store. The location is superb; perfectly situated for exploring Fowey, and a wonderful base from which to enjoy the entertainment of Fowey Regatta. We would certainly choose the Salt Store for our next trip to Fowey!

Done a 5 star rating for the location the comfy lounge and kitchen but the bathroom does let it down.

Thanks for reviewing The Salt Store and we're pleased to hear you found the property comfortable overall. The bathroom is long and narrow with sloping ceilings as depicted in the photos on our website but does house a bath and shower cubicle for added choice. Bryony, Customer Support

Very attractive and comfortable house, well furnished and equipped, lovely location.
Mrs Kerr-Smiley April 2019
We lived our stay at Salt Store. Great layout, well equipped kitchen with appliances and nespresso machine; two min stroll to town centre. Bring ear plugs of the lovely church chimes through the night would disturb you(!), be prepared for steep walk to car park(!). Thank you to housekeeper for great communication...

Thanks for reviewing The Salt Store and it's great to hear you had a lovely time overall. The cottage is located a couple of minutes stroll down the narrow winding streets to the bustling town centre with a convenient car park 10 minutes away at the top of town (worth the walk on the way back down to admire those lovely views of the harbour). St Fimbarrus Church (with its chiming clock) is tucked away behind The Salt Store as mentioned in the description, though we hope you got used to the chimes by the end of your holiday. Ms Snape June 2015
The Salt Store was a perfect cottage. The location was ideal- just immediately down the hill is the harbour/pubs and shops or the beautiful Esplanade. The lounge was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped - nice touch of biscuits and tea bags on arrival. Upstairs also lovely and the view of the harbour and boats from the main bedroom window was a beautiful view. Also stunning walks from the door and boat trips not to be missed. We loved Fowey and loved The Salt Store - a special gem.
