We had a wonderful stay at the Salt Store. The location is superb; perfectly situated for exploring Fowey, and a wonderful base from which to enjoy the entertainment of Fowey Regatta. We would certainly choose the Salt Store for our next trip to Fowey!

Done a 5 star rating for the location the comfy lounge and kitchen but the bathroom does let it down.

Very attractive and comfortable house, well furnished and equipped, lovely location.

We lived our stay at Salt Store. Great layout, well equipped kitchen with appliances and nespresso machine; two min stroll to town centre. Bring ear plugs of the lovely church chimes through the night would disturb you(!), be prepared for steep walk to car park(!). Thank you to housekeeper for great communication...

Thanks for reviewing The Salt Store and it's great to hear you had a lovely time overall. The cottage is located a couple of minutes stroll down the narrow winding streets to the bustling town centre with a convenient car park 10 minutes away at the top of town (worth the walk on the way back down to admire those lovely views of the harbour). St Fimbarrus Church (with its chiming clock) is tucked away behind The Salt Store as mentioned in the description, though we hope you got used to the chimes by the end of your holiday. The Salt Store was a perfect cottage. The location was ideal- just immediately down the hill is the harbour/pubs and shops or the beautiful Esplanade. The lounge was very comfortable and the kitchen well equipped - nice touch of biscuits and tea bags on arrival. Upstairs also lovely and the view of the harbour and boats from the main bedroom window was a beautiful view. Also stunning walks from the door and boat trips not to be missed. We loved Fowey and loved The Salt Store - a special gem.
