Lovely cottage , we had a lovely holiday here , good location ,will definitley book with classic cottages again

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Meadowbank. The location was the perfect base for us and like a home away from home. Everything we needed was readily available. The only downside was the bucket chairs in the living room. My teenage boys found them very uncomfortable to relax in.

The cottage is situated in a very pretty village but there are no shops within walking distance. We found all we needed in nearby Beaminster and there are larger supermarkets in Bridport. We were very lucky with the weather and made use of the lovely garden at Meadowbank. It is a great base for exploring that area of Dorset.

We really enjoyed our week at Meadowbank. The peaceful location along with the lovely garden and views were particular highlights and we loved being able to get away from it all. The cottage is spacious, homely and well equipped. Lots of places to visit including gardens, beaches and superb countryside within a short distance. We look forward to returning.

We felt very at home at Meadowbank. It is a lovely, clean and bright cottage and we had everything we needed. The rooms are much larger than the photos suggest and the bed was super comfy! We enjoyed watching the sheep in the fields and spotting wildlife. The location is great and it's not far from our usual haunts of West Bay, Hive Beach, Lyme Regis and Abbotsbury.

Hope to return to Meadowbank in the future & will certainly book again with Classic Cottages. Excellent holiday .

We loved this place. A short distance up a single track lane, Meadowbank proves a peaceful haven away from hustle and bustle. Surrounded by fields, a generous, private garden, tasteful decor, comfortable furnishings and all the kitchen equipment we needed. A lovely spot for exploring the South Coast or just stay put and enjoy the countryside.

We loved our stay at Meadowbank, a superb location in a picture-perfect village, with lovely views and walks (we saw deer and rabbits on our walks nearby, so special!) and loads of outdoor space in the garden to relax in.

A well-appointed property with everything you need for an active family holiday, plenty of space to cook and useful outdoor space for all the kit, cosy living room for the cold evening and a big table in the kitchen for games. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels always welcome!

The living room is a bit dusty due to old, heavy cloth furnishings - troublesome if you have dust allergies (as my son and I have). But otherwise, excellent value for money and a wonderful week's stay.

Our second stay in this property. We were not disappointed. Our peace was only occasionally disturbed by the the sheep. But we did see hares. Definitely recommend this property.

It was a lovely stay. The cottage was comfortable and cosy with gorgeous views.

A lovely cottage in a quiet location which is ideal for exploring the Dorset coast.

Such a cosy comfortable cottage in a fabulous location. We loved our stay there. Beaminster us an interesting village and the shop Cilla and Camilla is well worth a visit for the fabulous cafe situated at the back.

Lovely and clean in beautiful surroundings, everything you need.

A fantastic cottage set in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Netherbury village, which is a pretty little village. The cottage was perfect for our stay - the kitchen was very well equipped and had all we needed. The garden was a stunning place to sit on a sunny day and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature coming across the back fields. Definitely a place to come to chill and relax!

An excellent, well appointed cottage. If you are looking for a very quiet getaway then this it the place. Please note there are no local amenities.

Had a lovely peaceful stay in Meadowbank, looking out at the field of sheep. Cottage was extremely clean and very comfortable, and well equipped. Good location in easy reach of Bridport. Had super visits to Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary, Seaton Tramway and Abbotsbury Swannery. Super break - Thank you

Peaceful location in the countryside.

A comfortable and peaceful holiday.

Very peaceful, and very clean and comfortable. We love staying here.

This is a lovely place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet. It's a very comfortable and welcoming property with all the facilities that you need. There are plenty of good walking routes in the local area and a cider farm just up the road. What more could you need?

A very comfortable, cosy cottage in a beautiful location.

Thank you so much for letting us stay - amazing cottage and lovely location. Thanks to the housekeepers for showing us where the bbq was (we completely missed it and gave them a ring!) they were so helpful. Hope to visit again soon x

Another lovely stay, so peaceful and quiet. Thank you and we hope to be back again soon.

Overall Meadow Bank was very, very good. We enjoyed our holiday there and would consider booking it again. I am conscious of what it takes in effort, energy, time and money to create and maintain a holiday home and I feel appreciation for the care and effort which both the owners and the housekeepers put into the property to maintain it. The kitchen was particularly well equipped - one of the best I have ever stayed in. The recent alterations to the front of the property have been done to a high standard and I imagine have improved the ease and safety of entering /exiting the parking space a great deal.

Really well equipped and a very clean and comfortable cottage.

Very helpful company to book with and Meadowbank was a delight to stay at. We wouldn’t hesitate to book with you again and stay at Meadowbank again.

Thank you

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful cottage. It is in a very peaceful situation. The cottage was just as it looked in the photos. It was clean and bright.

We had a lovely stay in Meadowbank, it had everything we needed and the utility room was very helpful with children (washing machine and tumble dryer). The garden and peaceful surroundings of fields was lovely!

A lovely, spacious and well appointed cottage in a beautiful village setting. A great pub (Hare & Hounds) with fantastic home cooked food just a 20 minute walk over the fields. The garden is a real asset to this property and there is zero light pollution! A real gem!

A beautiful cottage, located in the prettiest village, clean comfortable and joy to stay in.

Basic holiday home, ideal for a small family wanting a large garden for kids to run around in.

A very comfortable, thoughtfully equipped cottage in a lovely location providing an excellent base from which to explore the beautiful county of Dorset.

Extremely well equipped and comfortable cottage

Peaceful quiet stay in a very well appointed cottage, great country location but close enough to coast and attractions. Thank you!

A lovely week in this very nice cottage. Clean, everything you need and situated in beautiful countryside. Perfect.

The cottage is situated in a quiet village but within easy reach of the beautiful Jurassic Coast. It was lovely and clean and very well equipped and the welcome tray, biscuits and milk in the fridge were very much appreciated on our arrival.

Lovely cottage in a stunning location.

We had a great holiday at Meadowbank and look forward to returning in the future for another lovely break. Lovely setting. Great views and a peaceful location to get away and relax.

This is an ideal cottage in a great location for two to five people who wish for a peaceful holiday away from towns and cities. Everything is provided for comfort and ease of use and we would highly recommend both the cottage for all these factors and Classic Cottages for ease of booking and efficiency.

Comfortable cottage in beautiful location. Walk out the front door to the local pub and to the next village (Beaminster) for good groceries. The pub is just far enough away that you will feel that you earned your drink. Once you jump in the car, location is convenient for day trips around and about Dorset.

Peaceful, comfortable base for exploring beautiful county.

Our second stay was as good as the first - a very cosy, clean and welcoming cottage in a beautiful and peaceful location.

Excellent cottage in a wonderful location. Very well equipped kitchen made cooking a pleasure. Comfortable and well provided for throughout, we felt immediately at home. We will miss the views and look forward to returning.

Gorgeous cottage, very clean, warm and cosy, with quality soft furnishings and great attention to detail. A very special Easter break - we loved watching the spring lambs in the adjoining field! Perfect location for all that we wanted to do. High speed Wi-fi a real bonus. Thank you!

We had a great week at Meadowbank - it was very clean, well furnished, and in a very quiet location. Hoping to return, thank you very much!

I would have to give Meadowbank 4 stars just for the views alone. Very peaceful location and I could imagine curling up by the woodburner (logs provided)on a cold day. Lovely walks surround this lovely area.

Fantastic, views from every window, piece and tranquillity guaranteed !! well equipped, clean and tidy, represents good value for money, Thanks for a great stay

Great for a peaceful break but also near all the Dorset attractions when you wanted to go out and about.

If you like peace and quiet in the contryside this is the ideal holiday cottage.

Comfortable cottage in a lovely location.

very helpful team at Classic Cottages! The cottage was great and beautifully equipped. The icing on the cake - the weather and Dorset. We have also loved this area and we will return.

The location of this property is delightful, so quiet with a lovely view on both sides of the house. It really is set in a field! We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived. The village of Netherbury very pretty too with some lovely evening walks to enjoy. There is ample space for a family with plenty of kitchen equipment so with just two of us, we were well suited. This is a little gem of a place.

Thank you Classic. Another very successful holiday. Lovely weather for 5 days, then 2 wet!

A comfortable, well-equipped, cosy cottage, which those loving a rural location will enjoy. Peace and quiet, day and night! Good walks and not far from the village or, by car, interesting towns, spectacular scenery and unique coastline.
