Mrs Slattery October 2023
Lovely cottage , we had a lovely holiday here , good location ,will definitley book with classic cottages again
Miss Rees July 2023
We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Meadowbank. The location was the perfect base for us and like a home away from home. Everything we needed was readily available. The only downside was the bucket chairs in the living room. My teenage boys found them very uncomfortable to relax in.
Mrs Groom June 2023
The cottage is situated in a very pretty village but there are no shops within walking distance. We found all we needed in nearby Beaminster and there are larger supermarkets in Bridport. We were very lucky with the weather and made use of the lovely garden at Meadowbank. It is a great base for exploring that area of Dorset.
Mrs Olsen July 2022
We really enjoyed our week at Meadowbank. The peaceful location along with the lovely garden and views were particular highlights and we loved being able to get away from it all. The cottage is spacious, homely and well equipped. Lots of places to visit including gardens, beaches and superb countryside within a short distance. We look forward to returning.
Mrs Arnold July 2022
We felt very at home at Meadowbank. It is a lovely, clean and bright cottage and we had everything we needed. The rooms are much larger than the photos suggest and the bed was super comfy! We enjoyed watching the sheep in the fields and spotting wildlife. The location is great and it's not far from our usual haunts of West Bay, Hive Beach, Lyme Regis and Abbotsbury.
Mr Weller June 2022
Hope to return to Meadowbank in the future & will certainly book again with Classic Cottages. Excellent holiday .
Mrs Barlow June 2022
We loved this place. A short distance up a single track lane, Meadowbank proves a peaceful haven away from hustle and bustle. Surrounded by fields, a generous, private garden, tasteful decor, comfortable furnishings and all the kitchen equipment we needed. A lovely spot for exploring the South Coast or just stay put and enjoy the countryside.
Ms Choudhury May 2022
We loved our stay at Meadowbank, a superb location in a picture-perfect village, with lovely views and walks (we saw deer and rabbits on our walks nearby, so special!) and loads of outdoor space in the garden to relax in.
A well-appointed property with everything you need for an active family holiday, plenty of space to cook and useful outdoor space for all the kit, cosy living room for the cold evening and a big table in the kitchen for games. Comfortable beds and fluffy towels always welcome!
The living room is a bit dusty due to old, heavy cloth furnishings - troublesome if you have dust allergies (as my son and I have). But otherwise, excellent value for money and a wonderful week's stay.
Mr Lewin May 2022
Our second stay in this property. We were not disappointed. Our peace was only occasionally disturbed by the the sheep. But we did see hares. Definitely recommend this property.

A fantastic cottage set in a beautiful location on the outskirts of Netherbury village, which is a pretty little village. The cottage was perfect for our stay - the kitchen was very well equipped and had all we needed. The garden was a stunning place to sit on a sunny day and enjoy the quiet sounds of nature coming across the back fields. Definitely a place to come to chill and relax!

Ms Large June 2019
Overall Meadow Bank was very, very good. We enjoyed our holiday there and would consider booking it again. I am conscious of what it takes in effort, energy, time and money to create and maintain a holiday home and I feel appreciation for the care and effort which both the owners and the housekeepers put into the property to maintain it. The kitchen was particularly well equipped - one of the best I have ever stayed in. The recent alterations to the front of the property have been done to a high standard and I imagine have improved the ease and safety of entering /exiting the parking space a great deal.
Mr Morgan June 2019
Really well equipped and a very clean and comfortable cottage.
Mrs Wilkinson May 2019

This is an ideal cottage in a great location for two to five people who wish for a peaceful holiday away from towns and cities. Everything is provided for comfort and ease of use and we would highly recommend both the cottage for all these factors and Classic Cottages for ease of booking and efficiency.
Mr Crook August 2016
Comfortable cottage in beautiful location. Walk out the front door to the local pub and to the next village (Beaminster) for good groceries. The pub is just far enough away that you will feel that you earned your drink. Once you jump in the car, location is convenient for day trips around and about Dorset.

The location of this property is delightful, so quiet with a lovely view on both sides of the house. It really is set in a field! We couldn't believe our luck when we arrived. The village of Netherbury very pretty too with some lovely evening walks to enjoy. There is ample space for a family with plenty of kitchen equipment so with just two of us, we were well suited. This is a little gem of a place.
