April 2017

We had an amazing time at Hobie and would love to come back one day. The tent is wonderful and so comfortable. We were there in April but the wood burner kept us warm and it was perfect to be together as a family in such a cosy space cut out from the real world. Magic

July 2016

Peaceful, back to basics, with a touch of luxury!

April 2016

Have only ever been Glamping once and cant see how it could get better........

September 2015

Really relaxing holiday. Great location and easy to explore the surrounding area, stunning scenery & dramatic coastline. Unfortunately we weren't able to use the fire pit as the field it's in isn't dog friendly.

August 2015

True glamping- well equipped and luxurious safari tent in a beautiful setting. Ideal location for exploring the Lizard and South west Cornwall. Our children loved every aspect of Chymder farm especially the hammock and the log swing.

July 2015

The most luxurious glamping accommodation I've ever seen, quirky, yet homely - such a relaxing place for a week away.

June 2015

The website, and the photos therein, are true to the experience of the holiday. I defy anyone to be in the slightest bit disappointed by any aspect of staying at Barefoot Camping.

May 2015

We had an awesome time staying in Hobie! It was a real adventure for the children and a break away from electronic games and T.V. The art of conversation returned for the long weekend and we had plenty of laughs. Would recommend Hobie as a top class experience for every family!!

April 2015

If any family wants a unique and fun break we would recommend Hobie. It was lovely to go back to basics (no electronic games/tv) but still be warm and comfortable. Fabulous experience for the children, lots of laughs and fun was had by all.

April 2015

Do it....you won't regret it.

August 2014

Our week in Hobie was fantastic for the whole family. Your message "unplug technology, re-connect with friends" was so apt, as the holiday provided a perfect opportunity to do just this. The children had everything they needed and loved the freedom of the environment. We loved all the opportunities that were provided e.g. the firepit, which we used on our last night for a happy sing-song with our friends. Thank you for helping us to have a fantastic week away :)

July 2014

Sally and Jon were excellent on arrival and throughout our holiday. The accommodation, location and experience was excellent

May 2014

Pictures of accommodation are very accurate and show the level of comfort you can expect. Loads of local amenities and options for entertaining in all weathers. Great experience.

April 2014

we will definatly be back. so appreciate being left to enjoy our family time and share it with you and did not feel at all intruded upon. Honesty shop excellent and thank you for the beautiful easter bisciuts

October 2013

If you want to get away from life and chill out in luxury look no further and just book it. Thanks to John and his wife super location

September 2013

Barefoot Glamping is something you should try at least once. The tents are luxurious, the plots are generous, with an outside fire we only wish the weather had allowed us to use, and the surrounding area, countryside and beaches ALL worth a visit. We loved it.

June 2013

The safari tent really lived up to our expectations, it was large enough for four adults and two children and was beautifully decked out with a stylish, yet rustic feel. The facilities, including the wood burning stove, the shower/wet room and the beds were all lovely and really gave the right balance between having an outdoor/adventurous feel we wanted combined with some luxury to aid relaxation. The location was great as well. Our whole party were very impressed and the owners were very helpful too. Would highly recommend to any future glampers.
