A very well appointed house with splendid views. However, anyone with mobility difficulties might find the stairs and driveway a bit of a challenge. Bigbury on Sea has two lovely beaches and ideal for children and people enjoying water sports. The area is very quiet and tranquil but a little remote for walkable pubs/restauranants in the evening. The local Golf Club serves excellent coffee/tea and simple lunches and cream teas and were very welcoming.

A lovely location and amazing views.

Had a lovey magical Christmas thank you.

If you like a view, this is definately the place to come. The cottage is clean and well equipped and I highly recommend it.

A great holiday home in with stunning views. Highly recommended.

Beautiful home from home. All the essentials you could need for a quiet family stay by the beach.

A comfortable and well appointed cottage. Even though the weather was cool and windy, we enjoyed using the bi-fold doors to the balcony and sitting outside for our evening drink.

Great location and wonderful house with spectacular views.

Stunning view but needs a deep clean.

Spring Tide is in an excellent location with views of Burgh Island and the beautiful sandy beach is within a few minutes walk. We know the area well and have spent many a time on the beach and Burgh Island and it is an ideal house for a summer beach holiday. Unfortunately we were there during Storm Alex so a walk on the beach was very windy and the weather did hamper our stay

Springtide is a beautiful property set in a stunning location a joy to holiday in

There was a Picture problem with the sky TV box during wet and windy weather. Sadly I did not make the owner aware of this so they may not know.

We're so glad you enjoyed your stay - thanks for telling us about the signal problem. It may have been a location issue due to the coastal postion, as strong winds will have more of an effect in this sort of spot, but we'll certainly let the owners know. Tanya, Customer Support

A wonderfully positioned house. Clean, well equipped and comfortable. We would love to return. The house keeper kindly telephoned me before our visit to ensure we had a smooth arrival, reassuring us about her cleaning procedures.

A little more in the way of a welcome pack would be appreciated.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review Spring Tide. We're really sorry that you were disappointed with the welcome tray on arrival - we do request that a welcome tea tray is provided as part of our minimum inventory so we'll certainly forward this to the owner for their attention - thanks for letting us know. Alison, Customer Support

In a good location with lovely views, the house is spacious with a good living area, maybe a bit tired and could do with a bit of a spruce up.

A lovely clean cottage in a perfect location with a perfect view. Would highly recommend and would love to come back.

I think the emphasis on the views is a must. Also it is the most comfortable place we have stayed loads of room, very well furnished and on a very quiet cul de sac.

Lovely cottage. Clean, quiet and relaxing.

Useful information: we arrived having negotiated miles of lanes with oncoming traffic and constant stopping in passing places - to be greeted by the raucous cacophony of seagulls. There was no mobile signal for our phones in the house but email worked. Were we sorry to leave? YES I am always sceptical about "sea view" but in this case it was much better than I ever expected and how sorely we miss it. My husband commented that it had been a smashing week. The Venus cafe was a good local place to soak up holiday life.

We had a wonderfull time at the cottage. It's really a beautiful place offering fantastic views. We all felt home very quickly.

Lovely quiet location with great sea views (towards Burgh Island) from the upstairs sitting room balcony.
Modern house with nice, comfortable furnishings. Very peaceful. Close to lovely beach.

Keep on going to maintain the house at that high level. It is fantastic.

A holiday home for all seasons, the stunning views of burgh island and the surrounding sea come rain or shine were enjoyed by all our family.

Spring Tide is an amazing cottage, views are beautiful, and location, would recommend anyone to stay here, It is a perfect place to relax and have a wonderful holiday.

Beautiful house in a stunning location

A lovely place to unwind.

Great value for money - just needs a BBQ.

We loved the property, it was brilliant being so close to the beach. The view from the lounge was amazing and made getting up every morning a treat to see it. The facilities were great which made our week very relaxed and easy. We would definately recommend this property and would love to come and stay there again soon.

Our 4th visit to Spring Tide. Just as good as ever. Love the house, comfortable, clean & has all you need. The views are wonderful and we are already looking forward to our 5th visit.

A modern, attractive and comfortable property in a beautiful location, especially good for surfers and people with children. There are excellent restaurants in the area and some very interesting places to visit, for example Dartmouth, Plymouth and National Trust properties.

Lovely property in great Location - one of the best we have visited.

Our third visit to Spring Tide. Fabulous views and location. Just love this place. We will be back!

Mine and my partner's 3rd trip to Devon. This property is by far the best place we've ever stayed in. The view from the balcony is beautiful and very relaxing. The beach is minutes walk away and shops are not far away. Spring Tide is very clean with everything you need and very comfortable. We will definitely be coming here again.

The description of the property incl. the pictures is already promising but the reality is even better.

This is well presented cottage that effortlessly accommodated a family of five. It's comfortable, spacious & homely. The whole family enjoyed our short time at Spring Tide & we were sorry when our holiday ended.

Our second visit to Spring Tide. Fantastic! Fabulous views, comfortable house and the location is just perfect. We will be back!

We were a family of 5 who stayed at Spring Tide in October. The house was well equipped and minutes from the beach. It has wonderful views from the top balcony and we would highly recommend staying here. Plenty to see and do in the local area.

It has a very good feel about it, it is a happy house. I have stayed in self catering for many years, and this is the best to date.

Lovely cottage lovely view, really friendly locals and other visitors.

Amazing views, property and location. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic holiday at such a beautiful location. The views are spectacular and the house is just the best. I have been renting holiday homes for over thirty years and this has surpassed all! We will be back!

The owners very kindly left a bottle of bubbly and chocolates for the children for our arrival.

This is a lovely place to stay (the pictures are very accurate).

A lovely warm, light and sunny house with glorious views.

Bigbury-on-Sea is a delightful location to which to escape. We were surprised that the property did not have a visitors' book as we have found these useful in the past; in particular with regarding to other people's experiences of places to eat and places to visit.
