A gem of a cottage in a beautiful, tranquil setting. A great place to relax and unwind. We loved the bluebell wood and with easy access to both coasts enjoyed many walks along the cliff tops.
Dr Pöppl April 2022
We exactly found what we were looking for. The owners are so kind and helpful. It is a very quiet rural area with narrow streets. It was one of the best holidays we ever had.
Mr Clegg March 2022
We loved this cottage and would recommend it definitely. It was well stocked, wood was available for the burner, warm bedding (we went at the start of March!) and the owner was lovely. Off the beaten track but still only 5 minutes from the village.
mr Treadwell August 2021
Really loved the cottage, it’s very peaceful, had everything we needed and still close to all the things we wanted to do. Highly recommended.

Beautiful well appointed cottage in a very tranquil green setting. Inland but well positioned to get to either north or south coast. Helpful approachable owners working farmyard vibe with chickens and Guinea fowl about. Lovely suntrap garden at the front which gets the sun 10am till about 5 or 6
Mr Willcock August 2019
Enjoyed staying at Lower Cadwin Cottage. Owners are easy the talk to and helpful, perfect setting. On hindsight, we stayed at a discount rate, and against other cottages we have use, I think this is about the right price.
Mrs Wheeler July 2019

Mrs Glanfield June 2019

Best cottage and place to enjoy your holidays if you are running way from city’s hustle and bustle. Perfect for nature living. Peaceful and quiet.
Ms Overbeck September 2018
My mother and I really enjoyed our stay at Lower Cadmin Cottage. From the warm welcome to the peaceful location and the charming cottage itself we had a wonderful week. We enjoyed sitting out front on the small patio on a sunny day, watching the chickens in the yard and the white doves just as much as snuggling up in front of the wood burner on a chilly evening. It was exactly what we had imagined and we would have liked to stay longer to take in more of the rural and calming surroundings. - Thank you to our hosts Penelope and Charles for making us welcome and presenting us with a bottle of very tasty apple juice from their orchard on departure!
Mrs Rickard September 2017
Beautifully situated cottage - extremely quiet and peaceful. Interior superb - would like to take the mattress on the double bed home! Most idyllic place either of us have every stayed in.

Very nice environment
Mrs Weaver September 2015
How lovely to be met by Penelope and Charles, the owners. There were teabags, milk, biscuits and a bottle of wine to welcome us to their cottage. My husband and I liked the chickens roaming freely, the ambience of the cottage, the views from the windows, front and back, the whole ruralness (is that a word!) Fabulous weather for the week which made everything perfect
Mrs Piontkowski August 2015
Very cosy cottage in a quiet location. We have all found it as just as on the pictures and the description. The owner was very friendly and it was all well presented with flowers, prepared tray of tea and biscuits and wine for the evening. The stove was laid and you only needed a match to light it. Old cottage with modern facilities.
Mr Warta April 2015
Very nice little village like community, with friendly people who are always in for a chat.

This is a fantastic cottage in a rural location. The owners are lovely and the extras that were waiting for us was lovely. Beds are comfy and the towels are lovely and soft...not so sure on the cockerel in the morning though . Over all a fantastic place to stay.

Herr Dellenbach August 2013
Very calm situation. Owner very nice and helpful when planning of excursions.
Mr Smith August 2013
This place was really nice, the little touches I didn't even notice at first like flowers on the window sill, petty much as in the picture, just made it a real pleasure to stay here. The cottage is so pretty, so rural and so quiet, it is absolutely stunning! It is a stones throw from lively Newquay and right in the middle of things making it a perfect little retreat for the best of all worlds. The owners came to see us on the first day and were absolutly charming, a delightful couple who had seemingly thought of everything to make our stay as pleasurable as possible.
Mrs Bush June 2013
The location of the cottage was very good as we wanted to see the Eden Project, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and a few other gardens. We also went over to North Cornwall.
Mrs Barker March 2013
