Lovely well equipped apartment in a quiet location, but near the main attractions of Falmouth.

Excellent

Perfectly situated with stunning views of the harbour from the sunny balcony and also very close to the local shops and restaurants. Very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Highly recommended.

Another peaceful, lovely holiday at this property. As always, it was warm, comfortable and immaculately clean. Never tire of the view over the river from the balcony.

Another lovely holiday at Geach’s Cottage. As always it was immaculately clean, well presented and comfortable. Having such central accommodation with private parking and a wonderful view is a real luxury and one we very much appreciate every time we stay.

Another wonderful stay in this warm, peaceful, comfortable cottage. The equipment etc is continually updated so everything is of an excellent standard. It’s good to be so conveniently situated for the town, trains, buses, ferries etc but to have private parking in a quiet area is a real bonus. As always we enjoyed the lovely views watching the weather change and the boats come and go.

This apartment has fab views, is very spacious, bright and cosy. It was spotlessly clean. The owners have provided everything you will need, they left out helpful notes and leaflets for us about the area. The location is great, just 5 mins up the High St from the shops and the Ferry / Boat trips. It only took us 15mins to walk to the Train Station and just about 25 mins to the beach.
Having secure parking was a bonus, the allocated space for the car was fine for us and we have a Kia Estate Car, you just need to drive in carefully + ask your passenger /s to get out first. The steps to the property were not an issue for us.
We did encounter a little noise disturbance from the Bistro above during the evenings, but this was only until about 10.30pm and then could only be heard from the back of the property and not the main bedroom itself. We slept soundly from here and awoke only to the gently tinkling of the boats in the wind and seagulls occasionally flying over...which we found lovely + quite relaxing! We would stay again as the location and quality of the apartment was perfect for us.

Wonderful place to stay; easy to reach the town centre and wonderful views over the harbour. Good to have private secure parking so close to town. A cosy, well equipped property that we keep returning to.

Only to say that the accommodation was absolutely spotless with everything you could ask for. We would definitely use Geaches Cott again if we visit Falmouth.

The beds are really uncomfortable. Both the single beds and the double. We all thought they were too hard and didn’t sleep well which made for grumpy adults and children.

Thanks for reviewing Geach's Cott and we're sorry to hear you found the beds uncomfortable. Mattress comfort is a very personal preference and it can be tricky to find something that 'ticks all the boxes' for everyone but we'll certainly forward your comments to the owner for consideration. excellent location

Very comfortable house in a great location and with brilliant views of the river Fal. You must be prepared to use a lot of steps. Best to have a small car. Eating out is not cheap.

Thanks so much for your review; we're so pleased that you had a comfortable stay. We do recommend that the private parking for this property is suitable for a medium-sized car but there is limited parking on the main access street. Geach's Cott does have two flights of stairs to the property from the parking-area (three flights from ground level) but we hope you agree that the views certainly make the climb worth it! You can find a whole host of restaurants and bars in Falmouth with something to hopefully suit everyone's pocket but the kitchen in Geach's Cott provides everything you will need to whip up a tasty feast. The cottage has nice sea views and the car parking space is more easily negotiable than some considering the garage size.

Our third visit and won't be our last. Always clean and comfortable. Lovely thick bath towels and well equiped kitchen. Only a minute to The Star and Garter and a ten minute stroll to the Working Boat!

Excellent place to stay. Our estate car fits in the space provided! Have stayed several times and always been able to park easily. Warm, well presented and equipped. Looking forward to going back next year!

We enjoyed the week in the cottage very much.

Very comfortable, well fitted accommodation with amazing views and a great location. We would happily stay there again.

Lovely cottage. Picturesque view. Close to the High Street. Perfect.

perfect place to stay, views fantastic ,spotlessly clean ,nice gesture flowers and milk tea\coffee .Good secure parking.Would return definitely.

A comfortable apartment with wonderful views.

A perfect location overlooking the estuary and a great property that combine for a truly wonderful break.

Our second time and it won't be the last. Loved the view and the comfy sofa. Within walking distance of many very good restuarants and pubs.

Comfortable, well furnished flat with wonderful views. A lovely place to stay and thoroughly recommend.

If you are looking for peaceful relaxing location with beautiful views but also want to be in walking distance is shops activiesvsnd restaurants - this is the ideal cottage.

The apartment is within easy walking distance of Falmouth centre including the ferrys and restaurants.Secure parking is a bonus especially as had bikes with us so they were safe when we went out was a bonus. Also as the side roads are busy so returning during the day or in the evening it was reassuring to know that did not have to drive round looking for a parking space !!! We would definitely return.

Geach's Cott was an ideal holiday venue and a beautiful place to stay.

Great apartment in a wonderful location and within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and local facilities. Great views, peaceful and well equipped.

Great property and central location. Secure parking was a bonus and located close to the property so handy with moving suitcases. Property was very clean and comfortable, a real home from home, with everything you need. The views are spectacular from the lounge and double bedroom. Will definately come back.

We had a wonderful stay in well presented accommodation. We were particularly impressed with the standard and quality of the fixtures, fittings, crockery and cutlery etc. The owner provided a well thought out file of information. The description of the access stairs is accurate and therefore did not come as a shock to us.

Great location for shops, bars and restaurants. Very comfortable, nice size bathroom although shower cubicle a bit small.

Access to the garage is fairly tight and will set car proximity sensors off if you've got them but this is not really a problem. Owners of hatchbacks need to watch their tailgate as ours was a few milimeters from the garage roof!

Geach's cottage offers excellent value for money in a great location .

Thanks for taking the time to pass on your review of Geach's Cott. We're glad you didn't have any major problems with the parking - we know that the headroom is a little tight in the garage (we advertise the headroom as a maximum of 6'3") so that guests are forewarned! There are public car parks in Falmouth town for any larger vehicles, but they can get very busy in high season. The nearest long stay car park is the Town Quarry (TR11 3BX) but for short periods of time (up to 3 hours) The Moor is probably closer (TR11 3QA). Tanya, Customer Support

An excellent cottage right in the centre of town but quite with amazing views

Some trip advisor reviews suggest that car parking is impossible for larger cars, that's nonsense! I've got an Audi A4 Avant & had no real trouble! Once in through the tight garage entrance, it's cavernous! Headroom is tight for vans though!

We're delighted to hear that you had a great stay at Geach's Cott and had no trouble accessing the garage at Packet Quays. We know that the entrance does have limited headroom of 6'3" maximum, but it's good to know that this wasn't a problem in your vehicle and that you found the spaces easy to negotiate inside. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and in good location with a welcoming owner. The garaging has a height limit and spaces are quite small so if all spaces were being used you would struggle to park anything other than a small car (fiesta, A1, Jazz for example) in the allocated space for the property.

Exceptional accommodation - equipped to high standards. Very well thought out with maps, local area information, binoculars, hair dryer. DVDs.

Felt like home from home as soon as walked in the door.

Cottage was very clean and well appointed, the owners had thought of everything. It is in a good location for accessing the town and its amenities, plus it has great views across the river. We would recommend it to anybody.

Highly recommended. Extremely happy with our stay.

The property is in an extremely good position with beautiful views from the sitting room and main bedroom. Within easy reach of thetown and the ferries to St Mawes, and Truro which we took up to the city and a bus back to Falmouth. Excellent Italian and Chinese restaurants in the town. The number of steps up and down could be difficult for some visitors and the car parking space was extremely narrow, but still a good place to stay.

this property is superbly furnished and really is home from home ..as is comfortable with lovely furnishings ,the kitchen has everything you need for a holiday and the view is fab.we would recommend this property .

Central location within easy walking distance of range of restaurants, shops, beaches and ferries. Super sea and river views from lounge and main bedroom. We enjoyed sitting out on the balcony for breakfast watching life on the river. Helpful neighbours. Compact and romantic. Parking provided. Very clean. Delightful touches such as fresh flowers, milk, tea and biscuits on arrival. Overall...delightful.
