A beautiful cottage, most attractively furnished and well equipped, in an idyllic location. Right in the heart of Marazion, a 2 minute walk away from the beach, and even less to the lovely pub across the road, and the renown pasty shop next door! Marazion provides a great base from which to explore some of Cornwall's amazing coastal scenery. We enjoyed around Godrevy Cove, from Porthcurno beach to Porthgwarra (passing the Minack Theatre), with the walk from Kynance Cove to Lizard Point being a particular highlight. Spectacular and bracing! We enjoyed meals in the Cutty Sark and the King's Head, before heading back to spend cosy evenings in front of the wood burning stove. Counting the prints and images of St Michael's Mount which adorn the cottage walls' became an evening past-time (60 plus and still counting ...!) Very much hoping to return in the not too distant future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Mr Grady October 2020

Try it for yourself you won't be disappointed just amazing
Mrs Edwards August 2019
This is a superb cottage - restored with perfect taste. Everything one might need is in the cottage; the kitchen superbly well equipped and both bathrooms work really well. We loved the tiny garden and our lunches around the stone table. The pasties next door are the best in Cornwall, the pub across the street is so welcoming - and serves brilliant food! All in all, it is a wonderful spot - perfect for hiking along the SW coastal path and explore this part of Cornwall. We hope to be back!
Miss Whitfield August 2019
A lovely cottage, sensitively restored, in a fantastic location if you want to be close to St Michael’s Mount
Mrs Barrett April 2019
Lovely old cottage, beautifully maintained and well -equipped - just mind your head on the low beams!
Mr Dunn April 2019
Beautiful cottage in ideal location. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will definitely do so in the future. There is one parking permit for car park just down the road by the Godolphin Hotel. If other cars you can also park there and pay attendant daily. Good food and beer in pub opposite and Godolphin.
Mrs Clemow April 2019
This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the cottage. Beautiful property, excellent location and a warm welcome
Mrs Roberts December 2018
We've booked The Cottage for Christmas again next year. It truly was the best Christmas ever in this wonderfully equipped, beautifully kept, cosy cottage. We cant wait till Christmas 2019. I think that says it all !!
Mr Brown August 2018
Beautiful old cottage. Not easy for anyone 5’ 8” or over to live in. It hurts when you bang your head on low doors and low ceilings!

Thanks for your review of The Cottage and it's lovely to hear you enjoyed your time there overall. The Cottage is a 500 year old Grade II Listed stone house with all the typical features of this type of property such as low doorways, crooked walls and floors and ships timber beams which all add to the charm and cosiness of this lovely property. Wonderful cottage. Nice welcome! Everything perfect. The cottage has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped (toaster, microwave, oven, washing mashine, dishwasher, etc). Stayed with 4 people. The adults in the master bedroom. And the two children in the other two rooms (one with twin beds, the other with queen bed). The porch is small but nice. We had breakfast and dinner (with grill) out there. The pub in the opposite of the cottage is very quiet. And even the street is quiet as well. Would definitely stay here again!
Mr Dixon June 2018
A beautiful, we’ll equipped cottage that lived up to all our expectations. Perfectly placed for exploring South-West Cornwall.
Mr Turner April 2018
The owners obviously love this building, it shows in whichever room you happen to be. Great attention to detail.
Mrs Stanbridge April 2018
We loved staying at The Cottage in Marazion. It's a beautiful old building, right in the heart of the village, only a minute away from the beach and the causeway over to St Michaels Mount. We found The Cottage well equipped, clean, comfortable and cosy. The location is so convenient, with excellent places to eat and drink and little shops to browse virtually on your doorstep. The car park is very close by and we had no trouble parking outside the cottage to unload our luggage. We hope to come back very soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A fabulous comfortable well thought out house that oozes history. We loved the aged muntin screen walls and the wonderful sloping floors. Beautifully restored cottage in the heart of Marazion. Very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend - we'll be back!
Mr Barling October 2013
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. It's been superbly renovated and is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Its central position in Marazion, just a stone's throw from the beach, a moment's stroll for a newspaper, milk or the baker's, made it a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. It's within easy reach of other beautiful beaches, walks and interesting places to visit. As we were there in the autumn we went to the Harvest Festival at All Saints church which, like everything else in Marazion, was just a few minutes walk away. It was just a short service but was friendly and welcoming, just like the rest of the town. There are plenty of places to eat too. We had a superb meal at Ben's Cornish Kitchen - you'll need to book though! We'd love to stay at The Cottage again.
Mrs Boyce September 2013
had a wonderfull stay in a beatifull cottage and setting love Marazion have been many, many times, on this visit was informed by a cousin that lives nearby that an Aunt and family lived there back in the 1920's.
Mrs Jenkins July 2013
The Cottage is a beautifully restored property in the middle of Marazion. Spotlessly clean and tidy, very comfortable, well equipped and lovely bedding makes for a great relaxing stay. The fantastic location means that you can leave your car at home (as we did!) . Within moments walking to the beach, St Michael's Mount, pubs, restaurants, galleries. Next door to a great bakery, post office and general stores... A taxi or bus ride to Penzance (about 8 mins) , Mousehole, St Ives and of course much more with your car! This is truly a little gem.
Ms Marshall March 2013
A lovely cosy stay, over several very cold March days. The renovation story of The Cottage inspired us to take photos of details we'd like to recreate in our next home!
