An absolute gem of a place that really made our holiday. Beautifully appointed, very comfortable and felt really well looked after with excellent joining instructions / welcome. Wished we had booked a second week

This has all the ingredients for a perfect Cornish holiday. The cottage itself is attractive, spacious and sensitively modernised, located right in the heart of the historic village of Marazion and opposite St. Michael's Mount. It's ideal for coastal walks along rugged cliffs and lazy days on the beach, and you'll need to book well in advance to get a table at Shutters Restaurant for fresh local fish and seafood, expertly cooked, watching the sun set over the bay.

well equipped, charming cottage. would recommend to others. thank you .

We enjoyed our stay at The Cottage immensely and were very impressed with the service and support from Classic Cottages: we have already recommended you to our friends who have been wasting their time with miserable cabins on AirBnB!

With thanks and best regards, Matt & Harriet

A beautiful cottage, most attractively furnished and well equipped, in an idyllic location. Right in the heart of Marazion, a 2 minute walk away from the beach, and even less to the lovely pub across the road, and the renown pasty shop next door! Marazion provides a great base from which to explore some of Cornwall's amazing coastal scenery. We enjoyed around Godrevy Cove, from Porthcurno beach to Porthgwarra (passing the Minack Theatre), with the walk from Kynance Cove to Lizard Point being a particular highlight. Spectacular and bracing! We enjoyed meals in the Cutty Sark and the King's Head, before heading back to spend cosy evenings in front of the wood burning stove. Counting the prints and images of St Michael's Mount which adorn the cottage walls' became an evening past-time (60 plus and still counting ...!) Very much hoping to return in the not too distant future. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

A beautiful cottage with large rooms, very well equiped and in a superb location.

A perfectly cosy cottage in a superb location.

Stunning cottage in a great location and we will almost certainly return at some point. Pretty much everything you would need has been provided, all very well thought out

The Cottage is fabulous, we loved the house and the location. It was beautifully clean and welcoming when we first arrived. We will be back.

A beautiful bolt hole, that offers tranquility, comfort and unbeatable Cornish style!

Try it for yourself you won't be disappointed just amazing

This is a superb cottage - restored with perfect taste. Everything one might need is in the cottage; the kitchen superbly well equipped and both bathrooms work really well. We loved the tiny garden and our lunches around the stone table. The pasties next door are the best in Cornwall, the pub across the street is so welcoming - and serves brilliant food! All in all, it is a wonderful spot - perfect for hiking along the SW coastal path and explore this part of Cornwall. We hope to be back!

A lovely cottage, sensitively restored, in a fantastic location if you want to be close to St Michael’s Mount

Lovely old cottage, beautifully maintained and well -equipped - just mind your head on the low beams!

Beautiful cottage in ideal location. This is the second time we’ve stayed here and will definitely do so in the future. There is one parking permit for car park just down the road by the Godolphin Hotel. If other cars you can also park there and pay attendant daily. Good food and beer in pub opposite and Godolphin.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at the cottage. Beautiful property, excellent location and a warm welcome

We've booked The Cottage for Christmas again next year. It truly was the best Christmas ever in this wonderfully equipped, beautifully kept, cosy cottage. We cant wait till Christmas 2019. I think that says it all !!

Beautiful old cottage. Not easy for anyone 5’ 8” or over to live in. It hurts when you bang your head on low doors and low ceilings!

Thanks for your review of The Cottage and it's lovely to hear you enjoyed your time there overall. The Cottage is a 500 year old Grade II Listed stone house with all the typical features of this type of property such as low doorways, crooked walls and floors and ships timber beams which all add to the charm and cosiness of this lovely property. Wonderful cottage. Nice welcome! Everything perfect. The cottage has everything you need. The kitchen is very well equipped (toaster, microwave, oven, washing mashine, dishwasher, etc). Stayed with 4 people. The adults in the master bedroom. And the two children in the other two rooms (one with twin beds, the other with queen bed). The porch is small but nice. We had breakfast and dinner (with grill) out there. The pub in the opposite of the cottage is very quiet. And even the street is quiet as well. Would definitely stay here again!

A beautiful, we’ll equipped cottage that lived up to all our expectations. Perfectly placed for exploring South-West Cornwall.

The owners obviously love this building, it shows in whichever room you happen to be. Great attention to detail.

We loved staying at The Cottage in Marazion. It's a beautiful old building, right in the heart of the village, only a minute away from the beach and the causeway over to St Michaels Mount. We found The Cottage well equipped, clean, comfortable and cosy. The location is so convenient, with excellent places to eat and drink and little shops to browse virtually on your doorstep. The car park is very close by and we had no trouble parking outside the cottage to unload our luggage. We hope to come back very soon. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

You cannot go wrong with this one.

Great, really special, property that was well equipped and presented. Fantastic to spend time in such an old and well restored property with authentic furnishings and yet with all modern comforts.

The Cottage is in a wonderful setting in a great location.

An incredible cottage in an incredible location. Full of character but with every comfort imaginable.

A fantastically quirky place to stay in the lovely town of Marazion. We all loved it and will definitely be back.

We would use the cottage again. Stayed in lots of places in Cornwall but this was the best. A lovely Christmas break. No worries.

well positioned. The owners investment in energy efficiency was highly commendable.

Fantastic location in a beautifully restored cottage. We were made very welcome by the owners and I cannot recommend highly enough. We look forward to booking our third visit soon!

Beautiful cottage, great location everything you need to make your stay perfect.

The house ist wunderful, the owner very friendly. It ist like a little museum with a lot of treasures. Our children didn´t want to go home to Germany.

Stunning cottage which has been beautifully restored. We found everything we needed in the cottage for a perfect holiday. Location is great, two minutes to the beach, sand and rock pools, and a number of good places to eat out nearby.

Most charming cottage that I think sets the bar on lovely, cosy, interesting, comfortable. Just dreamy wonderful! Thanks!

We had a lovely holiday and it is thanks to Classic Cottages that yet again we have enjoyed a standard of holiday accommodation that is yet to be surpassed. Anyone wishing a holiday cottage in this part of England should put their trust in Classic Cottages.

The Cottage was absolutely superb in every aspect, location, furnishings and equipment, not to mention lovely and warm and the beds were so comfortable! It has a lovely feel to it and we will definitely be back!

Perfect in every way

Stunning Cottage in prime location.

The Cottage is in a perfect location - Marazion is a very pretty town it's a perfect place for walking, running and a beach holiday. The cottage is very pretty and equipped to a high standard, the log burner is really cosy. it was so interesting to also learn about the restoration and history. I highly recommend a holiday here.

Exceptional property with exceptional flair; tastefully decorated with all modern conveniences. We enjoyed it immensely.

a perfect location to enjoy some relaxed days with good food and a lovely coutryside for walking and visiting famous objects of interest

A fabulous comfortable well thought out house that oozes history. We loved the aged muntin screen walls and the wonderful sloping floors. We had a couple of cold days and were grateful for the cosy underfloor heating and the wood burner. The Cottage is a perfect place to stay to explore this end of Cornwall.

Absolutely can't fault this cottage !

The cottage is a gem especially at the pre-season time of year. It is very convenient for the beach the Mount. Just watch your head on some of the beams.

It was a pleasure to stay in a traditional old cottage that is equipped with good quality products.

With the beach and St Michael's Mount practially on the doorstep, this cottage is in a great location and inside is just perfect. We'll be coming back.

Beautifully restored cottage in the heart of Marazion. Very clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend - we'll be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Cottage. It's been superbly renovated and is extremely comfortable and well equipped. Its central position in Marazion, just a stone's throw from the beach, a moment's stroll for a newspaper, milk or the baker's, made it a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. It's within easy reach of other beautiful beaches, walks and interesting places to visit. As we were there in the autumn we went to the Harvest Festival at All Saints church which, like everything else in Marazion, was just a few minutes walk away. It was just a short service but was friendly and welcoming, just like the rest of the town. There are plenty of places to eat too. We had a superb meal at Ben's Cornish Kitchen - you'll need to book though! We'd love to stay at The Cottage again.

had a wonderfull stay in a beatifull cottage and setting love Marazion have been many, many times, on this visit was informed by a cousin that lives nearby that an Aunt and family lived there back in the 1920's.

The Cottage is a beautifully restored property in the middle of Marazion. Spotlessly clean and tidy, very comfortable, well equipped and lovely bedding makes for a great relaxing stay. The fantastic location means that you can leave your car at home (as we did!) . Within moments walking to the beach, St Michael's Mount, pubs, restaurants, galleries. Next door to a great bakery, post office and general stores... A taxi or bus ride to Penzance (about 8 mins) , Mousehole, St Ives and of course much more with your car! This is truly a little gem.

A lovely cosy stay, over several very cold March days. The renovation story of The Cottage inspired us to take photos of details we'd like to recreate in our next home!
