Mr Latham July 2019
It is a perfectly situated property and well suited for us as a family who enjoy walking and outdoor activities
Mr Murray June 2019
Spacious cottage. Good location for the coast path. Cottage felt darker than anticipated and overall was rather shabby. Very limited useful workspace in the kitchen. Bed felt damp and we had to put the electric blanket on to air it out. The cow sheds very close to the garden and there was a strong smell of cow dung

Thanks so much for your feedback. We try to be as honest as we can in our descriptions and Trevilley Farmhouse is a typical rural Cornish farmhouse with traditional features like low beams and smaller windows. In light of your comments we've tweaked our description to emphasise that Trevilley is near farmland - so thank you. We're sorry you noticed a damp feeling - older properties do benefit from being warm and aired and normally the Aga keeps things cosy, but we'll ask the housekeeper to keep an eye on this. We have stayed in many holiday cottages in Cornwall, particularly the far west which is our favourite region. Trevilley is without doubt the nicest we have ever booked. It's location is just perfect, in a quiet spot just off the beaten track but within walking distance of the coastal path and easy driving distance of many eateries and local attractions. The house itself is a beautiful centuries old farmhouse which has n't been over-modernised and thus retains a warm welcoming feeling. The kitchen is a delight with it's farmhouse furniture and so well equipped with masses of crockery, cutlery, etc and the Aga is just heaven. The shower rooms however are bang up to date, spacious and spotlessly clean The sitting room has two gorgeous squishy sofas, together with several other comfortable chairs, loads of interesting books and a great looking woodburner which we did n't need to use as we were blessed with warm weather. The bed we used is super comfortable and their is masses of storage space for all bedrooms and what might seem a small detail, stacks of coat hangers! The garden is completely private and fully enclosed, important if you take your pooch. Clearly we have fallen in live with Trevilley and are grateful to the owners for sharing their beautiful home with others. We will shortly be booking for next year.

Ms Muir June 2016
It is a beautiful, peaceful space, combining the rustic with contemporary. Ideal for a retreat away from the busy world. Life becomes slower and you have the opportunity to wind down. There were many lovely 'touches' to the property. vases of fresh flowers to brighten the property as well as a pint of milk and some delicious shortbread on arrival. Being able to walk to the SW coast path from the house and have so many opportunities for cycling is perfect, wonderful not to have to use the car. Perfect base for so many places to visit and to suit all needs.
Ms Morgan June 2016
Beautiful house, comfortable bed, gorgeous shower. Remote and beautiful location. Beautiful walk to Nanjizal Bay where we watched a seal and some horses. Great pub a mile away in Sennen Cove - great food, very friendly and good real ale.
Mrs Lothian May 2016
Beautiful house tucked away with easy and quick access to North and South Coast. Immediate access to coastal path and wonderful beaches. Walking distance to excellent local 'Apple Tree' cafe, but also easy road access to Sennen/Penzance. The house is characterful, spacious, private & peaceful. Great place to relax if you don't feel like wondering far. Make sure you check out Trevilley 'book loan' library hidden in a little hut on the footpath between house and cafe. Great Find!

Beautiful, historic house within walking distance of a stunning beach and coastal path. Very well appointed and comfortable home from home (although I wish my own home were even half as nice as this one)!
