Visit the atmospheric 14th Century ruined castle at Nunney. It's owned by English Heritage and visitors are allowed entry via a wooden bridge.

Lovely cottage in beautiful friendly village. It certainly is 'quirky' as described - we found it rather cluttered especially with too much kitchen equipment and too many nick-nacks, but it was very comfortable and a great base for visiting South Somerset....

We have stayed at Hayloft before which is why we returned. It is a great place to stay, well located for our needs (family in Ilminster, Martock, Somerton and Bristol) and is very comfortable with great bedding and a good range of products/equipment in the kitchen and bathrooms. We love the layout and the garden....

Great place, in a lovely village with an exceptional pub, The Barrington Boar, at its heart. Be sure to book. The Hayloft is lovely, with a fabulous combination of quirky and luxurious.
