Excellent property for our family of six (including an infant). The views from the living room are just lovely and we watched all kinds of weather patterns unfold before our eyes. The patio area is nice to sit on - quite a windy spot, but that can be refreshing after a hot walk! It is a well presented property, with plenty of kitchenware, so that you don't have to play hunt the plate or glass while waiting for one to be washed! Plenty of space for everyone. We brought a travel cot, but I gather there is one in the property. Plenty of parking space for the two cars we brought, but you could probably accommodate a third if you had a large group not travelling together. Would definitely visit again.

Lovely bright, clean, spacious holiday cottage. We had a lovely stay.

Great, well equipped property. Ideal location for exploring the Lizard and all its fabulous beaches.

Beautiful accommodation with plenty of space and 'through air' during the heatwave. The sea view from the lounge and patio was stunning and the sunset outside the hotel, a short walk up the hill, was spectacular. Plenty to do within a few miles ie beaches, coves (Kynance just gorgeous), theme park. We were very lucky with the weather. Not a cloud in the sky all week! Although the accommodation was a little pricey, we filled the place and spread the cost between us. My only gripe was the 4 hard pillows in the King-size bedroom (my room for the week). A small thing I know, but I improvised. Overall, a fabulous week. Thank you.

Views are stunning; lovely and peaceful setting, with great walks to some fabulous local beaches. Very, very comfortable and welcoming house. Very well equipped kitchen and easy parking. Mullion village close by with good facilities. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this house and we were sorry to leave.

The cottage is well-positioned for a great view of the cove, and is very well-equipped and comfortable. Great walking directly from the cottage - north to Church Cove, Loe Bar & Porthleven and south to Kynance Cove & Lizard. There's a 2-min walk to the nearby Mullion Cove hotel for lunch/dinner (if they have tables available), cafe in the cove below, cafe in the nearby craft centre (walkable via path across fields) or the Polurrian Hotel can accessed via the coast path (10-15mins walk). Otherwise Mullion centre is a 20-min walk/5-min drive. Overall a great holiday cottage/location.

Really beautiful cottage with fabulous views and a tranquility about it that helps you truly ease into your holiday. The time seemed to just stand still while we were there. Amazing for coastal walks, also l got some beautiful pictures not 5 minutes walk away of both sun rise and sunset. Just Perfect.

This is a lovely, peaceful place to stay: roomy & comfy with memorable views. A perfect place for a family & friends to stay and enjoy the space.

We spent a thoroughly enjoyable week at Nantivet (23-30 October), enhanced by the good weather but it would have been lovely whatever the weather. The bungalow is light, airy and spacious with more than enough room for 6 of us and is comfortable, warm and very well appointed. We enjoyed the log fire in the evenings more for the aesthetics than the need for heat. The situation above Mullion Cove affords ever changing views of the sea, quite uplifting, and the cliff top walks are easily accessible and enjoyed by all the family aged 6 to 70 as well as the proximity of sandy coves. A thoroughly memorable holiday.

A lovely holiday home in a prime location. Great views and a very spacious and comfortable lounge. Well decorated with good appliances. The house easily accommodated 5 adults with three cars, and we could have parked a fourth. A great stay.

Fabulous house in a gorgeous part of Cornwall. There was plenty of space for the eight of us and the facilities were great.

Great view from living room and main bedroom. Excellent but unkept terrace with seaview. No coffee machine!!!

Thanks so much for your review and we're pleased that you enjoyed the lovely views from this equally lovely property. Our owners are only asked to provide either a coffee pot or cafetiere so we're sorry for any disappointment caused by there not being a coffee machine. Please accept our apologies for any oversights with regards to the terrace - we'll pass on your comments to the housekeeping team. Tressa, Customer Support

Very close to the neighbours and the garden hedge was not maintained so we couldn’t see the view.

Reply from Classic Cottages

Thank you for your review, we have checked with the housekeeper who was unsure which part of the hedge you are referring to as this was not apparent on changeover, but will certainly check. We do try to keep our website as accurate as possible so that our guests know what to expect and there are photos and captions at the bottom with a little more information as well. We hope to welcome you to another Classic Cottage in the future, Sarah Customer Support

Beautiful house with plenty of room, tasteful decor, amazing views and very comfy beds. All bathrooms were new and very clean.

Comfortable accommodation in a very good location.

Nantivet is a wonderful place to stay. Light, spacious ,beautifully equipped and very comfy beds and sofas! We can not wait to return.

Peaceful, stunning views over the valley to the Cove and the sound of the waves, well-equipped, spacious and comfy.

The cottage benefits from great location and views but is in need of a substantial overhaul and requires more regular maintenance work on the patio and garden.

Reply from Classic Cottages

Thanks so much for sharing your review, and we're delighted that you enjoyed the location. The steeply terraced garden can present a bit of a challenge in terms of maintenance, and its position very much lends itself to being a natural space with wilder areas rather than a manicured lawn. However the owner is grateful for your thoughts and will look at increasing the frequecy of the gardener's visits, especially at this time of year when brambles and foliage grow so fast. In the 25 years that we have been visiting the Lizard, we thought that this was one of the best holiday lets.

An incredibly comfortable house, lots of space. Really well equipped, comfortable beds, great bathrooms and kitchen. View is unbeatable and Mullion is a wonderful village.

Spotlessly prepped, spacious, comfortable, cosy, well presented and equipped bungalow in lovely quiet location with fabulous views. We’ve visited here several times and it’s good to see improvements being made all the time by the owners. We really like Nantivet and will keep returning. Highly recommended.

When I booked Nantivet, I was looking for a house that would be suitable for our now grown up children and their family, which we could use for a family holiday to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday. Nantivet is a beautiful home, wonderfully equipped, and had plenty of space for all of us. Would I recommend this, I most certainly would. It’s also in an ideal location with stunning views, with plenty in the area to meet everyone’s needs.

We run a few rental properties in Australia, including a beachside holiday house. As such, we have to commend the owners of Nantivet for the excellent standard of accommodation they've provided (We've also pinched a few of your ideas!). The place was roomy, bright and airy with stunning views across Mullion harbour towards Mount's Bay. Loved the decor, the quality appliances, the comfy beds (mattresses were perfect) and that amazing wet room (which quickly became the most popular bathroom in the house). A wonderful house to entertain friends, perfectly set up for preparing meals for large groups. Everyone had a great time here. We didn't want to leave. Book it now, you won't be disappointed. Perfect stay!

A wonderful, spacious house with splendid views and all the equipment and facilities one could wish for. Seven of us stayed for a fortnight, ranging in age from seven to seventy four and we all agreed that it was one of the best holidays ever. The weather helped!

I wholeheartedly recommend this superbly located, generously-sized and well-equipped accommodation.

Beautiful house and garden. We had a wonderful stay which was just not long enough!

Nantivet is a very comfortable place with stunning views from the many large windows. We love it here and will continue to return for many years to come.

Lovely place really well looked after. Just as described. Thank you.

We are happy to have anything we have said printed.

Our family and friends stayed in Nantivet over New Year 2016/17 we had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed it. Starting with such an easy booking experience both online and over the phone with the wonderful sales team. The cottage was so well mantained and well equipped. The Housekeeper does a brilliant job. It was immaculately clean, tidy and we were very kindly left some supplies to start us off. It was a wonderful cottage and would highly recommend. Thank you Classic Cottages for a great holiday, we look forward to booking our next trip with you.

Nantivet exceeded our expectations: spacious, comfortable, light-filled and well -equipped. A delightful property, it is situated in a superb spot for exploring the Lizard and provides a welcoming, warm base to return to.

This is a very spacious property in a quiet location and with wonderful views.

Perfect place to relax, great property with amazing views. Accommodating 4 generations, the whole family loved the bungalow, the terrace was well used even in October.

Very comfortable property in wonderful location - peaceful with stunning views.

Wonderful views - lovely property.

Nantivet is in a great location. Mullion and Mullion Cove are both very attractive, and the location is also great for visiting The Lizard, Porthleven, Penzance and the far west of Cornwall. A major nearby attraction is the South West Coastal footpath, and the section between Mullion Cove and Kynance Cove (easily walkable from Nantivet) is wonderful for both dramatic sea views and the amazing wild flowers on the cliff tops.

Really excellent family cottage, very comfortable and well equipped. I always take some kitchen "bits" with me but this time they were not needed.

Nantivet is a beautiful cottage in a beautiful part of Cornwall. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and just how well equipped the cottage was. I would certainly recommend this cottage.

I wish that I could have given you the normal glowing report on the cottage but as you will see there were a few issues that we thought you should know about. These issues in no way spoilt our holiday and we will be using your services again in the future.

We were really sorry to hear that you had a couple of problems with some of the lighting/missing bulbs, the approach road and the parking/porch area. We've asked the housekeeper to replace any missing bulbs and give the outside porch area a good sweep. The No Through Road is a private road and although not tarmaced, it's normally in good condition. We're going there this week (17 Sept 2014) to update the photos, so we'll certainly check it out then. Tanya, Customer Support

A truly outstanding house in an amazing location. Quality of fixtures and fittings is really high, allowing a comfortable stay. Second visit, this time whether was great and we used the terrace non-stop, last time weather was bad and yet house was still lovely to spend lazy days.

This cottage is the perfect place to relax in the most stunning part of Cornwall. You will find all you need as this is a real home from home with a fantastically equipped kitchen complete with traditional weighing scales should you wish to bake! This home and it's setting is more beautiful than the pictures suggest! A truly wonderful break - the worst bit?- leaving!

This is a great place to stay, especially if you like coastal walking in The Lizard and Mount's Bay areas.

Amazing location,a sensational property, very well presented.value for money.

excellent property in great position.

Nantivet is a gem. Amazing views and an incredibly well equipped holiday home. The whole family loved the inside and outside space. The area provides wonderful walks and fabulous beaches straight out of the front door. There are great places to eat and drink within walking distance - especially Mullion Cove Hotel Bar. There has been such care taken in decorating and furnishing Nantivet and creating a very special place. Thank you to the owners and Classic Cottages - lovely family holiday.
