Chy Mor is very cosy and homely. Good location for getting about to Mousehole, Marazion, St.Ives etc plus a nice sea view of the bay.

I've been coming down to Penzance 3 or 4 times a year for the last 30 years. Over that time I've stayed in most hotels and numerous self catering accommodation. Chy Mor is 5 star. Every age group was catered for - even beach toys. My 7 year old grandson wanted to stay longer ( as did we all ) and asked if we can stay here again. Thank you so much for making our holiday home just perfect. Wonderful

Excellent location, although the issues raised in previous sections would prevent us from booking this property again. We spent 2 hours cleaning the bathrooms/toilets to make them more usable. Unable to relax due to lack of overall cleanliness and uncomfortable seating in lounge area.

We were very sorry to see that you felt the cleanliness wasn't all it should be. We've investigated with the owner and unfortunately haven't been able to identify the issues you raised. It is always difficult to address any concerns after the holiday (we're open 7 days a week so always available to help), and the owner was particularly disappointed as she'd felt confident that all was well when she met you during your stay. Wonderful location. We spent a lot of time wave watching from the front bedroom window. The secure parking space is also very much appreciated. We rebook this lovely cottage every year at the same time. It suits us down to the ground and we would not want to stay anywhere else.

We have stayed in lots of properties in Cornwall as I have family in Penzance. This was the best by a long way. The Heavy Cake made me cry as it was a true Cornish touch.

June 2016

Beautiful cottage, loads of room to enjoy an extended family stay and very central to everything you need.

April 2016

The house is roomy warm and bright with a great view over Mounts Bay, private secure parking around the corner, we had a god holiday and would go and stay here again.

April 2016

The cottage is as per described in the website. Very cosy and have more than enough room for our family of 4. The owner , Mrs Matthews, was vey accomodating although we have to change our arrival time about an hour later than planned, sat nav took us the long way round. Would stay here again if we are coming to Penzance.

In this lovely little cottage you have all that you want after a busy day out,you come HOME to relax and enjoy a meal without the stress of a Hotel then a night in to watch T.V and chill out.

July 2015

Excellent location. Friendly welcome (including tea and cake) and more space than expected.

March 2015

Very comfortable place to stay in very convenient position for seafront and town. Owner is very helpful and welcoming so happy to return at any time.

A real home from home, from the warm welcome to the little touches that make your holiday! Would definitely recommend this property.

March 2014

This is a lovely homely cottage, perfectly situated on the Prom. Wonderful to come "home" to after a day out, but equally comfortable and cosy to stay indoors wave-watching on those wet and windy days.

The personal touches added by Kath Matthews and her friendly greeting were also much appreciated.

September 2013

Cottage was available for the dates that we required and it looked lovely on the internet revue- in fact it was even better than we expected. the owner met us on arrival plus she left us fresh flowers, milk, eggs and cake which was a lovely gesture. nothing was too much trouble-we were very impressed and would love to stay there again next year.
